Unexpected Encounter

I was so lost in my thoughts when he already seated on the vacant chair beside me. Why here? There are still few seats available so why here with me?! Sitting beside the handsome new classmate, I don't think if it's luck or simply bad luck because he's one of Snake Clan people.

I can still remember in my head the nagging of my father saying, "Promise me not to get close to Snake Clan people, okay?. Because they might discover if you aren't careful enough. And they might do something that can harm you. You understand my precious?" That was still ringing in my head and I know that what my father said is just to protect me from other people. He loves me too much just like he loves my mother.

" Hey! Alex! Holy bring the soul of Alex!" I was so lost in my thoughts that I don't know my best friend are screaming already in my face.

"Why are you shouting in my face Gab. You! You want my fist?!" This guy must really love my fist to dare shout at me in the face. Then, I look around and happens to notice that there are only three of us in the room including the person sleeping on his desk, Samuel Xi.

"Let's go down to Cafeteria I'm so hungry already and my stomach keeps on rumbling. I'm so pitiful with a hungry stomach! Hmph!" He said while dragging me outside. I look back at the person still seated and can't help but wonder if he's alright.

I slowly opened my eyes and lift my head when the two of them are gone. I wonder who is that guy and they seems to be very close to each other. Those lazy green eyes during class was so beautiful and I can't help be in a daze while staring at her. That boy called her Alex, is that her real name? Oh well, I can just find it out later.

At the cafeteria

While he was walking at the food station the people who he passed by can't help but turn their head up. The girls are screaming while the boys are looking with envy.

"Wow so handsome! What's his name?"

He's the man of my dreams! So tall and handsome!" A group of girls are giggling with dreamy eyes on him. But he noticed that from a corner of the place seated Alex and that guy named Gab, laughing while talking without an ounce of care about their surroundings. They seems to be very close. And that made him frowned.

After getting the food he wants, somebody shouted his name that makes him turn his head to him. And that was his best buddy named Mike. He was together with Mike since they were young and became friends. Mike has this black wavy short hair with a pair of brown eyes, curvy eyebrows, straight nose and thin lips. He's handsome like him but Mike change girlfriends like almost everyday. I can only shake my head about that thought. He's simply a playboy that make girls cry. But all in all he's a good guy and he can stand me being aloof and cold and also doesn't like to talk much.

"Sam over here!" Mike shouted and wave his hands at him. After he's seated, he noticed that Alex's table are not far away from where he is and he can still see her laughing with her eyes curve into crescent. She's so beautiful, he thought. He was broke into daze by his buddy, " Hey you alright? I didn't woke you up earlier at the classroom because you seem tired. Sleepless night?"

I nod and said, "Not used to sleep in my new bed and room. But maybe I'll get used to it in a few days." I sure hope so because I have this habit being a light sleeper.

After few minutes of Mike talking about ramdom stuffs, he noticed me looking at another table and asked." What are you looking at? Oh! That was Alexandria with her best friend, Gabriel. I get to know them earlier at class when you're still not around. They're from the Wolf Clan."

I just nod my head at him and don't say anything. So her name is Alexandria, what a beautiful name and it suits her. But she is from the Wolf Clan, the number one enemy of their Clan.

" Hey Alex, I may ask why are you wearing such clothes? A light blue robe for school, seriously? It looks so plain!" Gab said while checking out my 'plain' clothes. I just stared at him then continued eating while saying, "what's the matter with wearing this? Hmm? And I promise my father not to cause trouble and this is my solution. Being an ordinary student and don't you dare say that I'm a daughter of the Wolf Clan King or else you're going to say sorry to my fist. Understand?! "

" Okay, okay!" He promised while raising both of his hands in air. I simply smiled at him because I know that he doesn't want to have a match with me. Soon, we finished our food at last.

"I'm going out" I said to him while walking away from him and he hurriedly asked, "Where to?.

" To roamed around the campus and find a nice place to sleep" I answered without looking back at him. He knows me well that I love to look around and find a quiet place to take a nap. So he never tried to stop me or stick with me.

X University is such a great place with great scenery that's full of tall trees with a fine grass to lay down.

After roaming around for a few minutes, I found the perfect place for me, a perfect place to take a wonderful nap. A tall tree with lots of branches and under it was a small pond that is sparkling under the light of the sun. It was mesmerizing to look at. And because I love climbing trees, I skillfully made my way up to have a nice nap and then lay at its branches and closed my eyes. I never thought that there is someone whose watching me from a far. Walking towards the tree, then stop and look up at me while saying...
