2 Chapter 2: Swimming

Lily woke up before anyone else, she stood up and stretched slowly and quietly walking out of the cabin making sure she didn't wake any of the strangers and then she walked to the bathrooms but as she was on her way she bumped into Alex.

Alex smiled and said, "hey look I don't normally talk to people but are you okay you were really mad last night" Alex already had her bathing suit one it was nothing special but it did make her look smoking hot. Lily opened her mouth to say something but then closed it as quickly as she opened it and looked down pushing passed Alex and to the bathroom.

Alex knew lily wouldn't trust easy she could see it in her eyes. Lily changed then went to the lake where Alex and a few others now were she sat down and started to try and read a book but after a few minutes she became frustrated and through the book at a tree angrily earning a couple glances. Now the lake was packed with kids, either playing in the shallow water not daring to go deeper, all kids except the Poseidon kids there aren't many but still quite a few. Lily decided then that she was going to swim as she walked into the water she dived in under opening her eyes under water she swam farther not afraid like the other kids.

The water never scared her, when she surfaced everyone was staring at her she hear people whispering something about her head then she looked up seeing the trident over her head she then dove back into the water and went to the bottom staying there for awhile until someone came down and pulled her back to the surface. It was a boy older than her, then some others came over she was guessing they were her half-brothers then one of them said, "hi my names Dylan and I'm we're your brothers and your are very first sister nice to meet you". Lily only waved and smiled she didn't want more brothers she decided she was too uncomfortable with this so she made the waves pull her under the water and back to the bottom wear she laid before and the others followed.

Alex was now in fully invested in lily she wanted to know everything about her. Alex was staring off into the distance on the beach thinking about how to get close to lily knowing that her brother would become very protective over her. That's when someone decided to hit her with a ball and they called out, "sorry can I have the ball bake please" Alex was mad but when she looked over and saw that it was Rys her anger vanished. She threw the ball back, lily was happy as she swam the water made her feel safe and free.

Her brothers were close behind her but she was faster she turned around and looked at them and then teased them by sticking her tounge out and making a catch me if you can face and took off in no time they were chasing her it felt like a game of cats and mouse but the mouse was winning then the cats finally cought her and she laughed for the first time in years although it should have been muffled by the water she and her brothers could hear it but she figure to anyone else it just sounded like bubbles.

They went to the surface and Dylan said, "jezz your fast" lily just shrugged. Dylan frowned and asked, "why won't you talk we all know you can" lily sign and swam to shore grabbing her towel to dry off since she actually allowed her self to get wet after she was done she walked to where she threw her book and picked it up then sat down under the tree still wrapped up in her towel since it got a bit colder with the sun hiding behind the clouds. Her brothers came out too and sat down and said, "please tell us something". Lily signed again and said, "I don't like to talk" her brothers looked confused so she opened her book and the picture of her and James fell out before she could get it the boy beside Dylan snatched looked at it and passed it around witch made lily very angry her grip tightened on her book and her breathing became heavy she was almost seeing red when Alex showed up snatching the picture away and giving it back to lily before she walked away.

Lily calmed down and her breathing went back to normally then one of her brothers asked, "who is he" lily felt a tear slide down her cheeks and quickly wiped it away and flipped it over showing them what as on the back it said, 'lily and James august 9th' then there was a note in her brothers hand writing it said, ' lily I love you and I always will love your brother james' after they read it she snached it back and put it into her book and they asked, "what happened to him" lily didn't have an answer so she said the only thing she knew she said, "I really don't know he kinda just disappeared leaving me alone".

lily was now upset and stood up walking to the cabin she grabbed her clothes and stuff moving it to the Poseidon cabin then going to the bathroom to change when she came out she saw Alex and decided to walk over she didn't say anything as she sat down she just sat in quietness until Alex turned and said, "are you okay" lily couldn't explain why but she wanted to tell Alex the truth shaking her head as the tears slid down her face.

Lily wasn't use to crying in front of people so she just wiped her tears and actually spoke to Alex for the second time she only said sorry and stood up going to walk away. Lily didn't slow her pace until she got back to the cabin and was now fully crying and she collapsed onto the floor a few minutes later her brothers came in seeing lily the way she was made them upset Dylan picked her up laying her on the small mattress of the bunk.

Dylan and the others didn't say anything they didn't know what to say so instead he just rubbed small circles on her back. Lily sat up quickly regaining her composer and said, "I'm sorry I just miss him is all and I also just realized that I never got the rest of your names" the boys smirked and said their names witch we're peter, cody, colton, trevor, and of course Dylan the were five of them six if you include James.

Dylan than asked, "do you feel better now" lily nodded and yawned not realizing how late it was she skipped dinner again and she doesn't eat much of breakfast if any at all but when to bed anyway she actually went to sleep with ease feeling save with her brothers but still felt as if she was being watched.
