5 Chapter 5: Luna's Realization

"I am Andrew, Son of the Dutchess, and it would be a great honor if you would dance with me."

"Shouldn't it be the other way around," Luna says cockily, "My Lord."

"For me, it would be a great honor because of how beautiful you look tonight," Andrew replies cockily, "Your highness."

"If only that were true. But I'm afraid that you may need to have your eyes checked because I am far from beautiful, if I'm to be fully honest with you, My Lord." Luna says with very little confidence. Not catching the formality he used to address her.

"Never say that about yourself ever again!" Andrew all but shouts which makes Luna flinch and drop her gaze, which had been focused on his glowing gold eyes, quickly. Reaching his hand up slowly he gently brushes the tips of his fingers along the curve of her neck up to her chin, which he raises causing her to look up at him once again. "Your beauty could rival that of a goddess. That and I do wish that you would drop the formalities, after all, You are the important one of the two of us." He says in a softer tone than he had been using previously.

Looking back at Andrew, Luna gains the confidence that she had been lacking from the moment she had stepped into the room with him. "Thank you for the compliments Andrew, but I'm pretty sure that I'm not as important as a Duke. That and you seem to be rather handsome yourself, but maybe only on the outside."

Scoffing he replies rather quickly, "You, my dear, are much more important than I am myself. But you'll find that out in due time. Now if I recall correctly you owe me a dance, Princess."

"I would love to be a princess but unfortunately the closest I'll ever get to royalty is you, my Lord."

"You will always be my Princess, Luna. Even when no one else sees it." He smirks seeing how his words have caused her to blush a crimson red shade.
