3 Mission Found

Sabera's pov

"What do you want?" I asked my stalker again. He seemed dumbfounded that I caught him.

I noticed he'd been following me from the time I hit the street outside my house. Why do these things happen to me?

"Hello? Earth to stalker?" I said, waving my hand in front of his face.

After what seemed like a week, he answered, "How are you alive?"

Ooookay, weird. He shook himself. This guy stood 6 foot 8 to my 5 foot. His body was built like a poop brick house and he was handsome. I mean gorgeously so. The man face could have been sculpted from marble, while his black hair fell over his shoulders, framing his face. The only thing that worried me were his eyes. They were golden, with a red rim around them. No one has eyes like that.

"Um.. I was born," I told him.

"No I mean you were gone. Like gone gone," he sputtered, "You shouldn't be alive. There's no possible way that your alive."

Now he was freaking me out. This man had to be nuts.

"Well, okay I'm going to be late for school so bye," I spun on my heels and started to run.

Cain's pov

As the girl turned and ran Cain came back to his senses. It was her. The girl he'd been searching for, his Lord Lucifer's daughter. The shock he had felt started to wear off.

"Hey wait!" he shouted after as he started to run along with her.

"Go away!" she spat at him then I'm in her voice.

Realizing he must have scared her half to death he backed off. Now is not the time to scare her. He needed to come up with a plan. A plan to help him take her back to her father. He would never had known who she was, if it weren't for the star in her eyes. In the days before, Cain hadn't bothered to look her in the eyes. He was going to take her and throw her to the side. So why care what her eyes really looked like? The star Cain saw was the same one in Lucifer's eyes. It was her, he knew it deep down inside. It was hard enough finding her. How is he going to tell the king of hell that he wanted to sleep with his daughter. Man this just turned into a poop storm.

Sabera's pov

Even though the stalker stopped chasing me, I kept running, until I reached the safety of the school. I was so out of breath and my heart was pounding. Who was that? I couldn't get his eyes out of my head. They were beautiful, but intimidating at the same time. I was completely consumed by my thoughts I didn't hear nor see KC walk up.

"Yo, birthday girl. What's shaking?" KC is my best friend. Well my only friend, but still. KC stands for Karson Crillers, though he hated it. And I don't blame him. His name made him seem more like he needed to be eaten by a whale. KC had been my friend for ages. He was the only one I could run to if I needed help.

As soon as I saw him I bursted into tears, "OMG, KC. It was horrible. This mentally deranged guy followed me from home."

"Woah, woah. Slow down little thing," he held me to him. "Let's calm down and then you can tell me everything. Okay?"

I nodded my head at him. KC lead me to one of the hall benches. The school didn't have a break area so they make us take breaks in the hall, cafeteria, or outside. But that's a small town school for you. After some time I told KC what happened.

He placed his hand on my leg, "Well, Sabera, it was probably just a old guy that lost his kid or something."

"Lost his kid? Dude this guy couldn't be any older than you or me."

"None the less girl. He's probably a few crayons short of a box. There's no need to worry," KC laughed.

But why didn't I feel better? If he was nothing but a crazy loon, why didn't KC's words calm me? Something was off. The bell rang and KC and I headed to class.

Cain's pov

Cain watched as Sabera walked to class. He never thought that he would ever find her. But here she was, in high school no less. When he had backed off of her he morphed in to a falcon. One of the many perks of being a demon, Cain could shape shift. He had followed her all the way to her destination and entered the school in a teenager's form. While he stood beside one of the old, dingy lockers a boy approached Sabera. He was tall and built similar to Cain. Cain's vision turned red, the boy was another demon. He had the smell of death on him. Much more pronounced than a demon, who like himself, had. This demon was a man eater. Cain kept his cool the best he could. He watched as the boy wrapped his arms around the crying Sabera. Man Cain felt like shit making her cry.

He listened to the two talk about Sabera's scarry encounter. A low growl erupted from Cain when the boy, called KC, put his hand on Sabera's leg.

*Mine* his mind screamed.

What!? No, that's Lucifer's daughter. She would never belong to Cain. But that didn't stop his need to protect her. Cain's demon instincts were raging and he couldn't help the bubbling anger.

While Sabera continued to cry, KC looked right at Cain. Not even trying to hide his blood thirsty grin. And he mouthed something to Cain that mad him dig his nails into the lockers beside him. The sound of the bell drowned out the screech of the lockers ripping like paper. The two of them stood and walked away from Cain. KC threw a not so nice hand gesture behind him. That mixed with what he said made Cain boil over.

KC had said "She's almost ripe. And she is going to be delicious."
