3 Chapter Three: Walking Up

*Present time*

Zhi looked curiously at the man in front of her. He was so handsome, some would consider him unapproachably handsome. That's not surprising. That was how Tadashi used to be when they were younger too. She looked at Tadashi's face and felt a happiness that she hadn't felt in a long time.... and...tingly. She definitely felt tingly. Her legs seemed to have gone numb. "Tadashi..."

Zhi Ruo passed out.

Tadashi had caught her just in time. "Why would you drink that much if you can't handle yourself." He looked at her face. She had definitely just been crying. "You're just asking for trouble. Stupid girl." He picked her up, paid the bill and left with the silver-haired beauty in his arms.

The next morning Zhi woke up in a large bed with luxurious blue handmade silk sheets and a comforter that she would gladly wear as clothes for the rest life. She looked around feeling very uncomfortable..and thirsty. Where was she exactly? "Oh my… " last night hit her like a brick to the head. "Did I really meet Tadashi Gao again?"

There wasn't any time to waste, Zhi Ruo shot out of bed ignoring her headache and dashed out of the room.

She heard voices downstairs and without even acknowledging what she was wearing or what she looked like she ran off. Zhi had to know if this had all been a mistake.

Sitting around a large table, four people sat sipping coffee. In front of them were plates of fruits and biscuits. They were busy discussing something.

Zhi didn't care.

She bolted toward the one with a familiar face. Zhi had waited long enough for this reunion.

She didn't care who she offended this time and couldn't care less about the consequences. This was her hero. Zhi had to thank him before he disappeared from her life again.

As she got closer to Tadashi and he immediately stood up. His eyes were fixed on hers. He smiled and a burning fire ignited in her. The man in front of her looked like a work of pure art. Flawless in every way.

Zhi finally reached him. She was so close she could smell his aftershave. God he smelt good.

Tadashi couldn't ignore how beautiful Zhi looked in the night gown she was wearing. Without thinking about it Tadashi pulled Zhi into his warm embrace. She fit perfectly in his arms. If people weren't around he would have thrown her on the table and explored her every curve on that sexy body of hers. Oh and how badly he wanted to bite down her plump, luscious lips. But he settled for tucking one of Zhi's messy locks of hair behing her ear.

The fire burning in Zhi heart could have scorched the very sun itself but it was nothing compared to how she felt downstairs. With a simple touch, an electric shock was sent down, making her yearne for his touch. This was all too good to be true. Zhi Ruo pulled away and looked at Tadashi's face again, just to be sure she wasn't being tricked.

This man looked similar to the boy she remembered from so long ago but now his cool, quiet attitude was replaced with a more dangerous and serious appearance. His body had muscle now, in all the right places. His gorgeous eyes were seductive without meaning to be. His hair was as black as night and was fixed in a way she hadn't seen on him before. This look made him seem mature and his clothes screamed wealth. For that matter so did his house.

And then it hit her.

She was in a very light, very revealing sleeping gown and barefooted too.

She then took in her surroundings. There were 3 good looking people staring at her, all with ear to ear smiles and curious looks.

Their were two very attractive men and one gorgeous female. They were all dressed impressively and they all had that dangerous look that Tadashi has.

One of the men dropped his smile before getting a serious look on his face. "Boss, you didn't tell us you had a friend over," he looked like he had been deeply hurt. He dramatically held his heart, acting like the betrayal was going to kill him.

...

This was big news. Boss had a girlfriend. No one had ever seen Tadashi with a woman before. In fact, they had never seen such a love-struck look on his face....or any emotion really.

The other man scooted himself so close, Zhi was sure ha was he was going to jump on Tadashi's lap. "Yeah boss, is this our new boss lady?" He looked over to the strange silver haired woman that had somehow captivated thier boss. She had long messy hair, that made it obvious she had just woken up, but it didn't take away from her beauty. Her eyes are black and as wild as her hair. The two men both silently thought she was as beautiful as any model they'd ever seen.

Tadashi looked pleased. That was a nice thought, Zhi Ruo as his lady. It was so pleasing actually that a devious smile spread on his face. What would I have to do to make that happen, he wondered.

The only person that did not look surprised was the gorgeous girl among them. Yet she seemed happier than the rest of them. "Don't ask such questions from the boss." She gave a wicked laugh, "of course she's the new boss lady." She said this like she knew it was true for a fact.

The two men looked at her with jealousy in their eyes.

"What do you mean, you knew the whole time? And you didn't tell us?" cried the shorter one of the two men.

"Howin, you are too cruel to us." cried the taller one.

"Yes. Yes. How can you claim to be a part of our team with such secrets?" The shorter one pouted.

"Boys, boys, what sort of 1st impression of us do you wish for our boss lady to have? Stop your whining." Howin gave another wicked laugh. She looked pleased with herself. She liked having more information than them. Howin decided to leave them there like that. They deserved it after that awful display they had just shown. "Miss, may I take you upstairs to freshen up and get you some new clothes?" The woman asked as her focus fell only on Zhi now.

Zhi suddenly realized the position she was in and felt embarrassed. How could she be in such a place in only a nightgown? And being referred to as, boss lady. Her mind ran wild. Why didn't Tadashi correct them? But then again, did she really want it corrected?

Zhi looked at Howin and was suddenly glad for her offer. "Yes please."

Zhi then turned quickly leaving the room. Howin followed closely behind before getting in front of her leading her to a stunning bathroom.

The bathroom had its own lounge area.

Howin had Zhi wait there before returning with a washcloth, towel and a change of clothes? She turned the shower on for her and politely asked if there was anything else she could do for her?

Zhi looked at the women in front of her. She seemed sweet and sincere. "Actually, I have a few questions? If that's OK?"

Howin gave the same wicked smile as she did before, "Yes let's talk." This was Howin's chance to get more gossip on the bosses new girl.

Zhi asked the immediate question in her mind. "How did I get here and how did I come to be dressed like this?"

Zhi wondered, could it be that Tadashi took her to this place and changed her himself?

Even with kind of knowing him, she was still weary of men and this was definitely a red flag. Just becase he saved her once when they were kids doesn't mean he wouldn't take advantage of her now when he is older.
