17 Chapter Seventeen: Come with me honey

*Tadashi was the victor. He was about to feel proud that he had actually beat his longtime rival when Zhi's cold voice instantly pierced Tadashi's heart. "How could you?"*

Zhi was mad and confused. Did Tadashi hit this man because he saw us simply talking together? Clearly, I don't know this man at all. He isn't the same Tadashi anymore. He really is just a psychopath. "Why would you follow me here?"

Tadashi couldn't explain with all the people around. He could only watch Zhi's face harden with disgust.

Zhi Ruo was used to the people around her getting hurt just for getting to close to her, but how could Tadashi be like them too. For the last few years when her mother and stepsister shamelessly tore her down, it was the memory of Tadashi that kept her going. The fantasy that he would one day come and save her, just like he had done before. Now, Zhi knew it was all just hopeful thinking. There was no one that could save her from her miserable life, only more people to add more pain.

Jin Hyun put his hand on Zhi Ruo's shoulders and ushered her away from the graphic scene. "Come, a lady shouldn't have to be witness to such brutality."

Zhi was glad to get away. A few steps out and little Shi Cho took Zhi Ruo's hands pulling her away from the handsome Idol. She gently smiled at her and stared into Zhi's beautifully sad eyes. For a second Shi got lost in them. They were like a deep black void. Shi Cho shook her self and pulled Zhi into a loving embrace. "Come with me, honey. Let's get out of here, yeah?"

Zhi just really wanted to go home. It has been a long day and Zhi was tired. "I think, I just want to go home Shi."

Jin Hyun was the first to speak. "I'll take you home, my car in just outside."

Shi shot Jin Hyun and death glare. Jin suddenly shivered. "That girl is scarier than the two brutes that were fighting." Jin Hyun Immediately gave up.

"Come Zhi, I'll make sure you get home safely."

She was a phenomenal actor and she put every bit of effort into this act. If Jin Lei couldn't get the job done it was up to her.

She turned her attention back to Jin Hyun. "You were paid for the whole night. Please get back to work and entertain my guests."

Zhi didn't notice anything odd about little Shi Cho's behavior and gladly followed her new friend out of the busy room and straight into a dark garage. As Zhi wondered if she had actually made a true friend the lights in the garage turned on. There wasn't a second that passed before Zhi was struck in the back of the head. Warm, sticky blood streamed down her beautiful face. Zhi felt an incredible amount of pain before she fell on the hard pavement below.

Back in the busy room full of people. Jin Hyun began to sing again. Some of the guests went back to chatting amongst themselves while others were still concerned about the man lying on the floor unconscious.

Conveniently before guests could get too involved, a man walked up to Jin Lei and gently picked him up. The man apologized to everyone that could hear for his "brother's" behavior. With his arms tightly around Jin Lei, Xiaobo calmly and gracefully led the Unconscious legendary dragon of the Crane Academy to a car parked outside.

Tadashi waited a minute, so not cause any alarms and then slowly followed Bobo's lead right out the front door and straight to the car.

Tadashi was weak from the fight and slumped down in the passenger seat. Only then did he realize just how hurt and sore he really was. "Where are the others," Tadashi questioned.

Bobo who had just finished roughly throwing the unconscious man into the back of the car didn't have an answer for his boss. "I'm sorry boss. I don't know."

Tadashi didn't like that answer. "And Zhi Ruo?"
