13 Sweet Lollipop

Mr. Carson watches at the man who keeps going back and forth. Sometimes, he would sit on the single armchair and stare blankly at the girl who still sleeping on the bed.

"W-why is s-she s-still not w-waking up?" He asks the butler.

Mr. Carson then looks at the girl and reply patiently.

"She needs a full rest for her recover and she also needs to take her medicine too."

"M-medicine?" He asks again. He then looks around and then he suddenly rise up from the chair and run to the kitchen like a thunderbolt.

"Ah! Master Raymond." Mr. Carson was quite shocked to see him suddenly sprint out of the room. He's the one who insists want to visit his wife and then he suddenly run away just like that.

Raymond sprinting to the kitchen and start to find something on the kitchen cupboard. One by one jar and glasses he shoves down on the floor. The maids start to panic and try to calm him down.

"M-master Raymond, what exactly are you looking for?" One of the maids who's in charge of the kitchen ask. She starts to feel anxious seeing the glasses fragment scattered on the floor. What if Master Raymond step on it?

"M-medicine." he replies while still shoving everything on the kitchen counter to the floor.

"Medicine? What medicine are-"

"Master Raymond." Mr. Carson interrupts the lady maid's word in the kitchen. Upon seeing Mr. Carson, they all bowed to the man.

"Co-cold m-medicine."

Mr. Carson arched his eyebrow and he turns to look at one of the house bodyguards, "Bring Mrs. Wayne's medicine here." he instructs the man to get the medicine over.

Once the medicine arrives, Mr. Carson put it on the marble cutting table and clearing his throat a bit.

"Ahem, Master Raymond. The medicine is here." Mr. Carson said with a clear voice and that makes Raymond suddenly turn to the table where Mr. Carson looking at.

His eyes gleam with happiness. He smiles widely and take the medicine tablet and happily skitter back to the guest room.

Once he leaves the kitchen, all the maids exhale in relief. "Thank you, Mr. Carson." said one of the maid.

"Mm, clean up the mess." He replies and went back to the guest room. This is quite a progress.

This Raymond doesn't like other people except him, Victoria and his dog. But now, it seems like he really likes this girl with just one night? Not only that, but the other 'he' also gives the girl a nightmare yesterday night too.

Open the guest room door, Mr. Carson eyes almost pop out when he saw that Raymond already climb up the bed, cage her in the middle of his body and ready to shove the tablet into Luna's mouth.

"Uh, Master!" He halts his action.

Looking at the man who standing not far from the bed, he raises his eyebrow a bit. "Hm?" he looks a bit cold like the other 'he'. It gives a bit chill in his bone.

"Er...Your darling is still sleeping. We don't want to upset your darling by forcing her to wake up, aren't we?" He uses his gentle voice like someone tries to persuade a little kid with a sweet lollipop.

"B-but, S-she need to e-eat the m-medicine." He darts him an unsatisfied look.

"Uh.." Mr. Carson needs to find some excuse to distract him from harming the poor girl again. "You know, your darling would very happy if she saw you in clean clothes, Master."

"Huh?"

"I mean..look at your clothes. It's stained with the creamy sauce. Why not you clean up yourself first and visit her again. She must be happy to see the clean you. Maybe we can go and buy some flower for her later?"

Raymond's eyes shine like a bright star. He immediately climbs down from the bed and smiles widely to the butler.

"S-she would l-love t-that?"

"Of course she will! She is your darling after all." Mr. Carson gives an assuring smile back at him.

Once Raymond was out of the room, he then looked at doctor Fang who silently watches everything from the corner of the room.

"Do something, please." Mr. Carson said with a tired voice.

"Pfftt…hahah. This is my first time seeing you try to coax a kid. You should get married, you know? You'll be a great dad." doctor Fang said while approaching the bed.

"Beat me. My hand is already full of that child." He rolled his eyes.

"By the way, Charles," doctor Fang glance over at his friend. "That Raymond seems to love this girl. But the other one seems to hate her so much. What are you gonna do about that?"

"I'll try to talk with the 'night' Raymond later. For the time being, you should explain everything to her. That's your job." Mr. Carson said before he leaves the room.

"Hahh…what a difficult clan."

A slow melody makes Luna scrunch her eyebrow. She slowly opens her eyes and blinks a few times while staring at the ceiling, absent-minded.

'Hmm..this ceiling look beautiful with the mandala carve design.' she tilts her head a little bit, 'Wait! Where am I?'

"Oh? You're awake?"

A man voice makes Luna turn her head to the side where there's a man sitting on the single armchair, looking at her. He then closes the book he was reading and he sits properly.

"You must be shocked. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier." He said again.

Luna did not say anything at all. She tries to remember what happened to her and how did she end up in this foreign room.

"My name is Lim Fang. You can call me, Doctor Fang or Lim, whichever you like. I'm in charge of your husband's health and now you are also under my care, Mrs. Wayne."
