14 Like The Pharaoh

Luna slowly sits up on the bed and stares at the man who just introduces himself to her. She then touches her neck which feels a bit hurt before she looks at her bandaged hand.

"Erm...How bad is my bruise on the neck?"

Her question makes doctor Fang dumbfounded a moment. He thought that she would cry or scream or yelled at him for being poorly treated by her husband. But who knows, she asks about her bruise?

"Uh, it's pretty bad. But it'll subside in another few days. For now, you can't eat solid food. Only porridge, and warm water."

"Hm...I see." She then touches her forehead. "Oh, I had a fever. Haha." She smiles and looks at the doctor who once again dumbfounded by her action.

He then immediately takes out his flashlight, ready to check on her eyes. "What are you doing?" Luna asks when she saw he takes out the flashlight from his pocket.

"I gonna check on your retina. "

"Why? I'm alright. Don't worry." She stops him from touching her head.

"But-"

"I'm not shocked or have any issues on my brain. I kinda understand that my husband is not a normal husband." She let out a sigh.

Doctor Fang then sit down back on the chair. He also took a deep breath before exhales it, he needs to do the explanation thing to her.

"Mrs. Wayne, there is something I would like to tell you about your husband condition."

Luna turned to him, giving him full attention. She is now ready to hear him out. Whatever reason is, he still is her husband. She has to try her best to understand him and accept this fate. If she really can't handle it after she resorts all her effort then..the only solution to end this marriage is divorce.

So, in the meanwhile, she will work hard to like him or becoming a friend to him. Well, for the starter, last night, she already starts to like his childish side. It's really cute and adorable.

"Early this year, Master Raymond involves in a traffic accident caused by the drunkard driver. He got a massive injury in his brain causing a blood clot in several of his brain's nerve. He goes through several surgeries and the final result..he got a DID caused by the trauma from the accident and the trauma from before the accident happens.

Because of this matter, he can't continue to go to work and the Wayne family decide to send him far away from the city life. There's is a possibility that he will return back to his old self, but it's only in a theory. Most of the patient who suffered this case, even turn themselves into a serial killer, turn into the opposite sex and some of them even turn into a ghost roll. But, Raymond..he turns into a child. An autism child. That is why you could see that he act like a child. But, in reality, he is normal. He's not an autistic child at all."

Luna blinks her eyes a few times before she starts her question.

"Umm..if he's not autistic, why did he act like he really is suffered from it?"

"Well, most of them who had a split personality will act like they really are a real deal. They're the best actor in the world. You can't change that and told him 'Hey, drop your act!' it's not gonna working. You shouldn't provoke them either or they'll turn into a more dangerous person."

"Hmm..so, is this some kind of mental illness?"

Doctor Fang silent for a moment before he slowly nods his head. "Yeah."

Luna did not say anything else after that. Her feelings are mixed. She feels sad for Raymond, but at the same times, she feels like she has just been cheat by this richest family.

"Will he be able to cured?"

Doctor Fang peek at her face a little and then he lowered his head back. "Hm, originally, he is a healthy young man. If there is any clue or we can find the defect that we probably miss out, we can perform another surgery. But the chances to survive are..less than 5%. He has been through so many surgeries before, if he had another major surgery, his body won't survive. Madam Victoria opposed the idea for him to have another surgery. That is why for now, we observe him and try to cure him with a different method. Probably get him to surpass his trauma by psychological approach from the person who closes to him."

"You mean, using me?"

Again, he slowly nods his head. "I won't use the word 'using', because Master Raymond at day look he really likes you, maybe you two can sort out of what to do with your life after this? You're his legal wife. You can do this."

"One last question." Luna shows him his index finger to which he looked at her face, ready to answer her question.

"Which one is the real Raymond?"

Doctor Fang gulp a bit. With a heavy heart, he still answers her question, "The night version. The one who you encounter last night. He is the real Raymond."

With this, Luna sighing deeply. "Can I even survive at night?" She murmurs with a blank face.

"Well, you can try to slow talk with him. Even though he is quite scary, he still has a soft spot. Or was."

"Hmm...I like the 'day' Raymond version."

"Yeah, me too." Doctor Fang agree with her statement. Raymond at the day is much cuter and adorable compared to the night Raymond who looks like a king of the underworld. Cold and dangerous aura emits around him like the Pharoah.

"Darling!" Raymond who just return from the town open the door with such a happy face.

Luna was caught off guard when he suddenly jumps to the bed and tackles her down on the bed.

At his right hand, there's a big bouquet of flower and his faces brightly shine like morning sunshine. He really is handsome when looking closer, and that makes Luna's heart almost got a heart attack by his handsomeness.

"D-dear." She plays along with the nickname.

"L-look! I-I bought you f-flower!"

"Mhm?" She turns her head to look at the flower, really, it such a beautiful thing, but…

"Master Raymond. Please don't jump on your darling like that. She still needs to recover from her illness."

Luna's faces turn red when Mr. Carson call her 'Your darling'. Looks like everybody in this house will regard her as their master 'darling' after this. Of course, only in daylight.
