17 A Feeling Of Admiration

"Pftt..hahahahah.." Luna laughing seeing his overreaction. Seeing his trouble face like that..'Ah~ it so satisfied.'

"Master!" Mr. Carson follows him from behind while shaking his head. He never thought that Luna dares to tease him like that.

Well, she only dares because the Raymond at the daytime is so vulnerable compare with the Raymond at the night which no one dare to offend him. At least, there is such a refreshing moment since Luna coming here.

And in this past two weeks after the incident in the guest room where the 'night' Raymond throw a fit at Luna, there's a quiet night when they both did not see each other face. Mr. Carson and the maid have a peaceful night without the need to get up in the middle of the night because of them.

Mr. Carson spot Raymond at the maze garden behind the mansion. He slowly approaching him and sit on the bench where he curled up.

"Um, Master?"

"Say, C-Carson, Do I-I like h-her?" He asks with a low voice which only can be heard by Mr. Carson.

Mr. Carson feels troubled by the question. Honestly, he doesn't know how to answer him. First, because he is not him and doesn't have the ability to read his mind either. Second, he never had the experience of love. Even though he has been through his life for thirty-three years, but it been so long since he last knows what the feeling of love is.

"Um…did your heartbeat spike when you're with her? Feeling all antsy?" He starts with the basic question first.

Raymond thinks for a moment and he touched his chest. "S-sometimes."

"Sometimes, huh?" Mr. Carson nodding his head and then he says again. "Then...Maybe you're not in love with her..just a feeling of admiration?" He tilting his head and squinting his eyes a bit. 'Hm, is that the case?'

"A-admiration? W-what is that?" He put his leg down on the ground and focus on the man beside him. Wanting to know more about it.

"Um..like, you like her, but not in a romantic way?"

"O-oh..t-then, that must b-be it." He looks like he understands it, but no one can be sure about it. He still is a kid inside after all.

"S-so, do I-I have t-to k-kiss her?" He drops a bomb to Mr. Carson that make him blink his eyes a few times.

"Aa.." Mr. Carson stops his word. 'Did 'night' Raymond will have the same memory as this 'day' Raymond? If yes, then, I'm dead meat. If not, then I'm safe. But, how to know it?'

"Hm?" Raymond stares at him with intense. Full of hope.

"Um..well, you can. If you feel doing so. If you don't feel that way, you don't have to kiss her. Just let her know how you're feeling is alright."

'Well, I hope Luna doesn't mind if this brat kisses her in the future as the expression of admiration.'

"Really??"

There he goes again, the bright, shining eyes brimming over his face. It's too obvious that he wants to hear that answer from the start. 'Why don't you just kiss her already if you're that happy?!'

Smiling ethically at him, he said, "Of course!" His face resembles an old fox.

A few seconds later, Luna's voice can be heard from afar.

"Raymond!" clearly, she cares about him. If not, she wouldn't have to trouble herself to find him whereas there are more than ten maids inside the mansion.

"Raymond? Where are you, dear?"

Mr. Carson wants to answer her but then Raymond tugs his sleeve and shakes his head.

"May I know why, Master?" asked Mr. Carson.

Raymond did not answer him and keep shaking his head until Mr. Carson said. "Okay, I got it. I won't call her here, alright?" only then Raymond stop from shaking his head.

Both of them just silently sit on the bench while Luna looking for Raymond all around the house.

The last resort she uses is to let out Raymond's dog. It is a Great Dane breed with a black color fur. His dog exactly fit his night character. The dog is not so friendly with others, but somehow, the dog acknowledges her and act all spoilt like the 'day' Raymond.

"Even a dog has the same character as his master." She opens Danny's lodge house door.

"Hey, Dan..help me out please." She looks at the dog which is resting in his dog house. It quite big for a dog and even a human can enter the dog house. It was specially designed by the 'night' Raymond before the accident. It shows that he cares about his dog.

The dog then stretching up before he went to her. Rubbing his head on her palm.

"Aww..you're so adorable." Luna caresses his head and he licks her face.

"Oh wait, Dan. Don't distract me. I want you to help me find Raymond, please." She took out a snack for him before she feeds him.

After the dog eats the snack, she let the dog out from the lodge house and let him run into the maze garden.

"Woof! Woof!"

Luna follows him from behind as he leads her to the way of his master. Within less than five minutes, Luna arrives at the bench in the center of the maze garden.

Sitting there is Mr. Carson and her husband who look like he's sulking. Maybe she went too far for teasing him like that. Yup, that's right. He's still a kid.

"Woof! Woof!" The dog then wiggles his tails to his master, expecting him to pet him like before.

Mr. Carson at the side, looking at the dog, he is quite afraid of the dog. The dog has never been good to him. And he always gets into trouble if the dog is loose from the lodge house.

Slowly, he stood up and leave the couple and the dog at the maze garden. Once Mr. Carson is away, Luna sits on the bench and watch as Raymond petting his dog, Danny.

"Raymond..are you mad at me?" She asked him while looking at his side face.

He did not reply to her as he still petting the dog.

"Alright, I'm sorry to tease you like that. In the future, I won't ask you to kiss me nor I kiss you. Okay?"

Raymond turns around his head in the speed of light. His eyes look dejected and sad. "N-no. Don't say t-that."
