Fainted

The moment arrived for Xia Mengrui to sing, but to the shock of everyone, her lips moved, yet no sound came out. 

Xia Mengrui had missed her line and some of her teammates fought the urge to gasp. 

Bo Yanyan, in particular, inwardly cursed her decision to include Xia Mengrui in her group. She regretted not choosing someone else. 

Xia Mengrui nervously scanned the crowd, catching a glimpse of displeased faces, and, more significantly, Yang Lingyun's stern expression. 

The stiffness in her back intensified and her confidence wavered. 'What is Qin Ran doing? Why didn't she sing? Or maybe her microphone isn't connected to the speakers?'

Her thoughts raced as she tried to remain hopeful, telling herself that Qin Ran might have simply missed her cue. 

However, when Xia Mengrui was supposed to sing the second line again, silence filled the air once more.
