1 Chapter 1: The Funeral

"A sin is unforgivable. But if we sin, all of humanity is forgiven."

14th June 2075,

"I never wanted this Alex. All I have ever wanted was to make this planet free from danger. Now, it's my responsibility to make that happen, to make this planet free from you, God Of Death." said Scott while fighting against Alex Elior, for short, The God Of Death.

Suddenly, Scott wakes up from his dreadful nightmare. He wakes up resting on a bench near his father's funeral spot.

"We all stand here to pray for the wellbeing of Michael Matthew for the great person he was, who has left this world to meet Jesus in heaven. He was the most respected person in this city. We shall carry on his legacy by giving him the best funeral he could have ever wanted."

Scott looks over at his younger brother reciting what he taught him to say. He was proud of Jeff. but also at grief. Michael, the father of Scott and Jeff Matthew, was a very kind and caring man. Scott was in disbelief that even after numerous attempts to cure his father, he had failed to save him from cancer. Humanity had moved forward to many other planets from many different systems, yet no cure for cancer was found.

Scott Matthew was born on the planet of BX-1000, AKA Solazar. The name was given by the inhabited humans in respect to a fictional god that was rumored to have existed there. He is a bioengineer in AIR, an organization coming from Earth to research the planet.

The funeral had begun. It was a party in honor of Michael, as he would have loved it. As the funeral ends, Michael is then buried into the soil of Solazar.

Present Time,

Scott can't believe he slept on the bench instead of going back home. He picks his bag up, stands up, and he leaves to get his car. He decides to take one last glance at his father. As he takes the glance, he is shocked to see that the coffin is still not buried. He sees a man holding a shovel. "Ay! Stop right there!" Scott shouts at the man and starts to run towards him. He follows him for quite a while until he eventually loses him. He goes back to his father's coffin to bury it again. As he picks up the shovel, he notices a box.

The box has a sign above it in which it is written, "Personal Box. Do Not Touch." Shocked by seeing this, Scott is very curious to find out what is inside the box. He slowly opens up the box only to see a book named "My Life As A God" shocked by seeing this as he knew that his father never had an interest in books. He opens the book and starts to read.

As he flipped pages over and over, he noticed a test tube-shaped vile filled with some kind of liquid. He was very curious to know what it was, he immediately takes it back home and put it under a microscope to find out what it was. He immediately found out it was DNA. He could not understand how and why there was DNA in a random book. He checked the book again and then he found a page that read:

"I shall return to my home planet named after me, Solazar. I know you will be reading this soon, Scott. I always wanted you to know about me. I wish I was there to tell you that, I'm not normal. All these rumors spreading around about God's being real is true. I have protected this planet for years and years. When I first arrived here, I never actually expected any of this. I thought I would protect this planet from danger for a small period of time and return home, return to the Planet Of God's. But, I never actually expected to fall for a woman on this planet. For her, I broke every promise I kept and betrayed my father and my planet, and started a beautiful family while protecting this planet. Every birth has to come to an end. Every fight has to come to a decision. This time, the decision didn't favor me, Scott. Your father lost against evil. This planet is in danger and I want YOU, to protect it. So, I shall leave my DNA behind and climb the stairs to hell."

Scott was shocked and couldn't think of anything. He felt betrayed that his father didn't tell him. They shared everything. Scott suddenly realized that his life was going to change. He had responsibilities as being a son of a God.
