Marina reach home and find her mother all tensed up
"Mumma" Marina said
"Oh honey I was waiting for you," Teresa said
"What happened Mumma, " Marina asked she is now can feel the sensitivity of the situation
"The owner of this building is selling it and they want us to leave the apartment within a week," Teresa said
"What! But how can they do this it's our home " Marina said
"The new owner probably wants to break the tower and made a hotel or casino here," Teresa said
"Let's try to talk to the owner," Marina said
"It's of no use the deal is already done and the new owner is coming to see the building tomorrow," Teresa said
"Okay, then I'll talk to the owner.
I wouldn't let someone break my home " Marina said
"They might be dangerous people Marina I don't want more problems," Teresa said

Alessandre is having a meeting with Antonio Terricoli a well-known businessman of Europe
"I'm really happy to invest in your Casino Mr.stefano," Antonio said
"So when are we going to see the location" Aless asked
"I think you don't mind visiting it tomorrow," Antonio said
"Tomorrow sounds fine " Aless said
"Great" Antonio said
Next Day
Aless come to see the building where Marina lives there plan is to demolish the building and build a magnificence casino
Antonio is talking to the buildings secretory and Alessandre is quietly listing to them
"Mr.Antonio I wanna talk with you," a soft voice said
All of the heads turn towards the lobby of the building where Marina is standing with her cane
"Mr. Stefano she is one of the renters," Antonio said
"What is it," Antonio said
"Mr. Antonio you can't sell this building like this it's our home many families live here im living here from my childhood and you're selling it to some selfish rich businessman," Marina said in one breath
"I'm not selfish," Alessandre said
"I'm sorry Mr. Stefano I'll talk to her," Antonio said
"Girl immediately apologize to Mr.stefano," Antonio said
"So he is Mr.stefano who bought our building to destroy it," Marina said
"Look let's talk like adults " Alessandre said
"Mr.Antonio would you please leave us alone for a moment," Alessandre said
Antonio nod and leave the office
"You are the same girl who crashes with me yesterday," Alessandre said
"Oh it was you," Marina said in a shocking manner
"I'm Alessandre Stefano," Aless said
"Hello im Liliana I am a pianist," Marina said and raise her hand for a handshake
The name Alessandre pull back memories for Marina but she just pushes them away and focus
'There is so many people with the same name ' Marina thought
"Look Liliana im not a bad person and if you want I can provide a good job for you in my company with an apartment complimentary " Alessandre said
"And why would you do that I don't want any favors from you," Marina said
"I'm not doing any favor I've lack of young employees in the music department who can give me new ideas," Alessandre said
"You know that I can't see how im supposed to be useful for your company," Marina said
"Music is a feeling and I don't think so anyone ever see music and I can arrange someone to write the keynotes for you " Alessandre said
"Are you serious" Marina asked
"Yes here this is my card " Alessandre said and give Marina his business card
"See you soon Miss Lilian" Alessandre said
"Thank you good day," Marina said and went back to her apartment
Marina told her mother everything that happened today
"You didn't tell them your real name right," Teresa asked
"Technically yes I did my name on the passport is Lilian you're the one who made it change when I was 10," Marina said
"It's for your own good honey," Teresa said
"I know mother," Marina said
"Are you sure that guy is a nice person" Teresa asked
"Yes mother don't worry he's one of the nicest man I ever met" Marina assures Teresa but deep down she is confused, she don't have a choice and it's a great offer to decline

Next day
Marina call the number from the card that Aless gave him
'Ciao Stefano enterprise ' the lady on the line said
'Ciao im Lilian Piero Mr.Stefano has give me this number ' Marina said
'Sorry miss I wasn't aware of such things' the lady says
'Please confirm it miss' Marina said
The lady contact Aless's secretory and confirm if he asked Marina to contact them or not
'Hello miss you've to come to Sicily for the interview' the lady said
'Sicily!' Marina said shockingly
'Yes if you want the job. I'll email you the details ' the lady said and cut the call
What life is doing with me Marina thought
"Mother I want to talk," Marina said
"What is it child," Teresa asked
"We have to go to Sicily" Marina blurted
"Sicily!" Teresa said
Teresa has so many bitter memories of Sicily she know the city is not safe for her little girl
"No way we are not going there," Teresa said
"Mom please it's a very huge offer for me our lives would be better please mom please," Marina said
"I told you my decision and it's final," Teresa said and go to her room
Teresa can't forget her husbands' lifeless corpse the humiliation she faced before leaving that house the pain she has suffered till now
Later that night
Marina enter in Teresa's room
"Mom" marina said and sit beside her
"You know my condition mother and they're going to break this building where will we find a new home for us we are not that rich mom please let's give a chance to destiny," Marina said
"What if something happened to you what will I'm gonna do then, " Teresa said
"Nothing will happen to me and that's my promise," Marina said and hug Teresa

Alessandre is standing in front of his office's wall-size window and enjoying the view of the night while having his favorite whiskey
Dante enter in this office and said" Bro you're still unable to sleep"
"Insomnia got me good" Alessandre said and chuckle
"Aless you've everything but happiness is not something we can buy go find someone who can bring happiness in your life get laid or get settled, " Dante said
"What about Mar.."
"Forget about her she's gone and she'll never come back get this in your head Aless you're my friend and I can't see you like this anymore," Dante said
"Think about what I said, " Dante said and Akessandre hummed before taking a big gulp of his drink
