2 Chapter 2: Testing Power

~Yami POV~

Ok as I walked down the streets of Japan, I notice that this world is certainly weird that is for certain.

There are all kinds of people in this world but what I need to do now is find some cash and work my way to become someone strong.

Currently, like God said the modified Yami Yami no Mi I have turned into a quirk with no weakness so now I have access to darkness manipulation and gravity.

Gravity was already in this fruit arsenal with the ability to attract and pull others as Blackbeard did the same, but I can also absorb quirks into my body.

I also have to be very careful as well since I no longer have any backing anymore as I have to proceed with everything with caution.

I mean I'm literally in a modern world and something that is once fake is real.

Even the people here look real as well as the All Might posters.

But now I have to get stronger on my own, but my body is definitely peak superhuman as I requested but looking in the mirror, I look like Rimuru from that time I got reincarnated as a slime.

Now what I need to do is gather information about this world and its rules.

I know the basics from the host previous body but sadly I have plans to be the villain of the story so I might as well rob a bank and such.

But only when I can have time to prepare is when I do it.

For now, I have to test out the abilities of my quirk to the max maybe I can change the weight of my gravity to something near the light speed or something close to it.

That way I have a way to travel faster than most people in this world but what I need now is an area to train…

Recalling from the story of the show I should go look for a way around this place.

Observing the folks in the area they didn't notice me, pickpocket, from them as I pass them by, and I store them in my darkness.

Like Blackbeard can hold rubbles of a town I can easily fit the pockets of cash into the darkness inside my body.

Luckily for me, I was trained for this during my time with the assassination group I guess I'm fortunate enough to get trained to survive after all they pitted against each other to the death when I was an assassin.

I guess I should get used to the fact I'm a villain now.

Since my host was basically screwed from the start I might as well get used to the fact that my life is a villainous one but that means I don't have to go easy on the twerps right?

Smiling at the idea I guess the plot will have some drastic changes after all those kids from 1-A will have useful quirks for me to use.

I can't just reveal the fact that I can steal quirks just, yet I guess silencing them will be a way to keep my secret safe.

While wandering around the area of this place I made sure to make a mental memory of these people as well as the buildings as I'm not exactly used to the whole world just yet as I haven't made any concrete idea what to do.

Scrounging around the area I tried to locate the area of where I am, I managed to overhear some people of where I was.

From the sounds of things, I can see that I'm in the city of Kamina in Yokohama isn't that where the place of the League of Villains is though?

Smirking at this I decided to continue my search for a bar in this place but that wasn't all I did.

I also managed to hear some interesting tide bit of information about a certain incident happening around the area.

"Hey, did you hear the news of U.A. storm of interviewers going around just yesterday?"

"No way! I heard about that in the news!"

"Yeah, how did that happen it's already going viral about the next generation of heroes right?"

"No kidding their dude but…"

Well…

It looks like I gained some vital information for me but that isn't enough…

Time to continue but it does lead me to have some hope that the U.S.J. Arc is coming sooner than I would have liked time for.

Damn…

I kind of wish I have more time to learn more about my abilities but what can I do but accept the reality of my situation.

But this might be the only time for me to kill steal some quirks from them in that class of students and villains as well.

Also, that Nomu certainly has some useful abilities to have for me to gain.

There is someone in U.A. Highschool whose quirk I want is that <Vibrate> quirk at least if I get it I would be able to dual wield style like Whitebeard.

That would be cool to have.

Ahh…

Time to get later time to become cruel assassin villain a must yes.

Going around the area I managed to get enough cash from pickpocketing from the citizens enough for me to get into actual money to use.

Observing a very cheap clothing store called the Donki Oote whatever that means, and I managed to buy myself black uniform suits like from the CP9 wear in one piece now this looks nice on me.

Although having some armor would help me out.

As I was done with the store, I got into an ally way ensuring that I caught no one's attention as I made quiet footsteps to be extra safe.

Using my new darkness ability, I made a quick change of my clothing's to the ones I had as I was first brought into this world.

Nice.

With this, I can definitely act like I have a quick change of my clothing on the fly.

Although since I have the free time observing the area around me, I noticed that a single person was walking towards me giving a side glance I see that the person in question was wearing a hero suit.

The suit consisted of some kind of tight uniform with blue and white patterns shown like something out of jaws as he points at me, "You person are coming with me and return all those wallets that you have stolen from the citizens."

Switching back into my uniform of the suit and a black visor glasses at the shop I released my blood intent on the man.

He stumbled back away but remains calm as I ask him in a calm voice, "Tell me hero… are you ready to die for your cause?"

Standing I only stared at the man in question used some kind of summon a gigantic sea snake-like creature from his back that he can control at will.

Seeing this the Hero got himself together as he says to me like an idiot, "You damn villain! I won't let you anywhere near the citizens for you see I'm the water hero Hydra with my <Hydra> quirk now – "

"<Dark Water>."

Extending one arm towards him, I activated the gravity power of my darkness to pull him into his grasp.

As this Hydra hero was looking at me shocked that he was now in my hand as I grip it tight, he suddenly lost his power since the summon was now getting destroyed into black particles as he says to me, "I-Impossible! My quirk <Hydra> just gone-e… no… You nullified- Urgh!"

This move is particularly useful when used in conjunction with the fruit's power-nullifying abilities and with my peak superhuman strength I can already crush his throat to stop him from speaking.

Now then I remember an absorbing ability, wasn't it?

But I wanted to try something first I use my darkness to open up a portal beneath me as we both began to be dragged inside my darkness.

Once we were inside, I can see the inside of well my body being vast and infinite seeing there is only darkness for me as the hero began to panic.

Looking at him with my visor off from my other hand but was consumed inside my body for later as I turn my hand as the darkness began to swirl around as I grin at him while I told him in a curious voice, "Well then hero Hydra its time get what I wanted to let's see I absorb like this right?"

My other hand placed it over to his body as some kind of light around the man began to be sucked inside my body through my darkness as the hero was trying to fight me off away from me.

Heh.

I'm really glad that my body acts like an actual Logia fruit because when he hit me it was nothing to damage me.

I simply reform my body again as the hero has a hopeless expression was shown on his face as the light from him is gone.

But I did felt another power I gain as I let go of the hero as I used his own quirk at him as he looks at trying to use his <Hydra> but a face filled with despair as he responds to me, "N-No… no… my quirk… you… stole my quirk <Hydra>! What the hell are you, villain!!"

Smirking at the young man I walked closer to him as a fist was now covered with darkness gravity as I smacked him with a punch, "Sorry Hero but if you aren't willing to fight back then there is no point in leaving you alive goodbye."

*Bam*

When I changed the weight of my fist into a heavier weight using my gravity as it pops off the head of the hero as blood began to disperse but using my gravity, I compressed it into something small for a small drop.

Seeing this I used my new quirk out as a gigantic sea snake-like creature from my back that I see have a black color and command it as I can control at will.

Remembering this quirk, I soon realized as I left the dark space of my fruit as I say to myself, "Wait… wasn't it from that Nine's guy from the movie? Well… I guess that <Hydra> quirk is now mine and it does look pretty cool."

Wait a minute…

Damn, I was too quick for the decision I should've taken his wallet before crushing him.

I guess I have ways to go before I could become a proper villain sigh…

Now where is that bar?
