Chapter 17: Locus Hikari

~Third POV~

As the appearance of Yami has once again have gotten him under the eyes of the Heroes and polices alike searching for this individual through their records.

Once the appearance of him has been made into light all the people began searching for records of the person as he was last seen in a villain attack with the Volcano Thieves.

Eyewitness managed to record all of the fights happening in that period as well as Yami's new battle form as well as witnessing to absorbing Volcano lava-like substance that is close to magma into his feet of darkness.

The first to hear the news were the heroes and police available at the current time as All Might and a few of the other heroes arrived in a police station conference to understand the situation at hand.

The first-eyed witness reports managed to get to see Yami in action as the police members of the law and heroes hear what they have to say.

The chief of the police force Kenji Tsuragmae was the first to showcase to everyone about Yami's abilities as he pointed to the heroes that have arrived, "Very well then everyone presents we are here to discuss the current knowledge we have about this new villain Blackout."

The police force and heroes took this time to closely listen in to what Kenji had to say as the dog face chief began to talk, "Ok from approximately over 4 hours ago the current and first sightings of this Blackout villain is when the Volcano Thieves had attacked the citizens for I quote all of their precious belongings to them."

Everyone present nodded their heads at this as the chief of police then discussed the next piece of information as they see the video of the fight, "From key witness, they managed to see that this young brat used gravity to defeat his foes quite ferociously that he left one beheaded and the others gone as if he wisped them away or worse."

Once again everyone nodded their heads as Endeavor the No.2 ranked hero in Japan scoffs at this as he asks the dog person, "Tch. So, what? As far as we can see that the brat has control over gravity and is going on a power trip as if he knows what he's doing but quickly weakens as shown in the video?"

The next words that left the chief of police left everyone quite speechless as he responded to Endeavor's question, "Well No.2 hero you would be right. Not only has this person now identified as Locus Hikari was formerly quirkless it seems to me is a late bloomer and a very unstable one at that."

That draws attention to the rest of the forces of the law with a confused expression as Kenji began to explain, "Apparently a few years back this Locus managed to help out in a case about 4 years ago during the Tokyo Egg event that happened with an A-Class villain called Number 6 gone behind bars with his help at the time catching him off guard."

Now, this draws confusion as All Might then asked another question with clear confusion, "Tell me chief of police if this boy managed to help capture this criminal behind bars how come we haven't heard the news of these?"

That was when Kenji shakes his head as he then replies the answer to All Might as the rest listen in to his answer, "Simple the HPSC covered it up as to let Mr. Celebrity take all the credit while other heroes at the time said it was a mistake to let the boy fight and capture the villain when it was their jobs to do it. Hmph. At least now this backfired very hard for them."

Other heroes and members of the law of the force were confused as Kenji begins to release a criminal profile with some past telling, "The boy formerly known as Locus Hikari belonged to the Hikari family known light users in Japan and up till recently they disowned the boy for the consequences of his hero complex of helping save the day only to be stained across the hero society because of him."

Hearing this news some rookie hero in the group voiced their own question to the response to Kenji in a confused tone, "Really? Does this mean that the brat that is causing troubles is throwing a tantrum of society because he was spat for it?"

Kenji shakes his head no as he replies to the rookie hero as he says in a deep voice, "No… from further studies it appears he was constantly bullied for the next 4 years because of the Tokyo Egg incident that any future he had was taken away from him. No opportunities and no future I can see how it led this boy up to this path."

Everyone could agree with it but then another member of the law asked another question to the chief in clear confusion, "If that is the case sir? Then when he awakened his quirk wouldn't he show it off to his school and get what he wanted instead?"

Once again the chief shakes his head as he says to the group of people with him in a saddened tone of voice, "If that only were the case kid. No from other recent news of his former friends have decided to attack him one night as the Locus kid decided to fight back the attackers managed to hit with too much force with his hit as he told that he cracked the poor boy skull with a clear dent made to the brain that supposed to have killed him."

Gasps were heard about this and clearly, most of the heroes and police members were quick to blame the friends for creating such a horrible monster in the world.

But the chief wasn't done just yet as he began to explain another piece of information, "Also we have reason to believe that we see here from the witnesses reports are true then that means we have a super-powered individual that loathes society and blames them for his predicament as the case of his fury was during the attack of the U.S.J. incident where many lives were lost to possibly show a point."

The heroes could only sigh as the members of the force were getting a bit anxious about the news but that was when a police officer was asked another question to ask, "Kenji sir! What about the parents of this Hikari? What do they have to say about all of this happening?"

Kenji ponders for a moment before he finally says his words that he responded to the officer in a disappointed tone, "They hold no ill will to the charges of their disowned son because he no longer has their name in him anymore. However, upon hearing the recent spring in crimes he caused and the uproar of discovering that their son attacked the U.A. high school the Yaoyorozu family quickly wanted their hero license to remove on the spot."

The rest of the heroes nodded their heads as the rookies knew messing with a powerful influence like the Yaoyorozu that was heavily tied to the HPSC were bound to get in trouble because of their influence.

But Kenji also says to them in the process of discussing Yami, "But they were given the choice to capture their son as priority or else they get their license revoked. That isn't all as well, but we may fear that this young man is growing too much…"

That was when another hero voiced their complaint to Yami as the No.3 hero Hawks have said in a serious voice, "That is something I can agree with. Upon having his quirk for the last week or less he has shown some improvement with gravity but who's to say that will be the limit of his power?"

That question alone has brought chills to the spines of some heroes of the thought of him playing with the Volcano Thieves were child's play and only a little experience made them think of how far he can grow.

Hawks then voice his concern to the group with his idea in a stern tone, "As things stand the sooner that Locus kid gets a better grasp of his quirk would mean more trouble for us in the long game of this chase and the harder it would be for us to capture right?"

Everyone nodded at this while some heroes have their own thoughts as a few heroes had more concerns about how to counter his quirk.

The next to speak was All Might as he says to everyone in a courageous tone with the determination shown in his eyes as he spoke, "True this boy seems strong, but he still broke the laws and he needs to answer them. Also, we need a way to capture the boy with his strong intangible body and gravity to deal with. But have no fear as we already have a plan in place."

Kenji smirks at this as he taps the screen to reveal a blueprint of a trap as he explains to everyone present, "Yes, we have already sent the abilities of Locus to the Engineering Support Gear Union and to David Shields in America to help us capture this man but we need all the manpower ready to capture so listen up!"

Although the heroes and members of the police pity the boy but with their strong sense of 'justice' they knew that they needed to capture him in the name of justice!

With that, a plan to capture Yami was underway as the MC of the story was busy relaxing for the next day on Saturday to have his try with the ring in Osaka while currently enjoying riding the frog girl in the pleasure of the night while the other girls slept waiting their turns.
