15 Chapter 15: Blackout

~Third POV~

In the middle of the road streets of the way of Mustafa was the moment strike by the group of thieves calling themselves the Volcano thieves.

There are three members of them the leader being Volcano.

Volcano is a tall man with a very muscular physique, large brown eyes, and orange, flame-shaped hair. He wears a baggy, navy blue bodysuit, and very bulky, rock-like boots, gauntlets, and shoulder pads. These accessories are lined with pores that expel smoke. He also wears a gas mask strapped to his shoulder pads, and an orange belt.

<Eruption> Volcano Quirk allows him to produce an incredibly hot lava-like substance from his body by burning his fat cells.

Konako is a tall woman with a very voluptuous figure. She has long, wavy, white hair, which is mostly tied into a ponytail, leaving two locks on the sides of her face, and bangs that obscures most of the right eye of her face. She wears light purple panties, a black low-cut sports bra, along with arm pads, a thin face mask, a large metal respirator, black ankle boots, and a utility belt with garters. She also wears purple gloves that are exposed at the back of her hand.

<Dust> Konako's Quirk allows her to produce ash-like dust from her body. If she overuses her Quirk, her skin will become dry and rough.

Tsumuji is a man of average light, light brown skin, and a lean build. He has grayish-blue hair that he ties back into a ponytail, and an elongated face, causing his mouth to protrude forward like a bill.

His Quirk mutated his hands, increasing their size and giving him very flexible wrists and slick, durable bright orange fingers. He wears a black sleeveless unitard with a purple belt, has a small desk fan attached to his back, and teal sneakers with similar fans attached to them. A pair of goggles protect his eyes during combat.

<Fan> is Tsumuji's Quirk gives him fan blades in place of his fingers, as well as the ability to rotate his wrists. This Quirk gives him the ability to produce strong winds and even tornadoes.

It can only be used for a maximum of one minute at a time, otherwise, Tsumuji will suffer Tenosynovitis (inflammation that causes sore joints, swelling, and stiffness) in his hands.

Yami getting out of the car that was destroyed he glares at the others as the heat managed to destroy his disguise as he got rid of it revealing his face.

Although his face only expressed in annoyance while Volcano just releases a large stream of magma from his palm of his hand hole laughing at the people fleeing in terror, "HAHAHA!! You puny citizens better give me all your valuables or else you will feel the burn!!"

Yami was clearly annoyed with the living rock as he decided to change into something more fitting as for his outfit since his normal ones are being burned up from the heat.

Darkness soon spread across his body as he began to get changed as the darkness above him started to change into <Dark Shadow> appearing out as it says to Yami, "Boss let me help you look more cooler as your shield!?"

<Dark Shadow> soon dons and equips onto Yami, wearing it like a suit of armor or an exoskeleton all over his upper and lower body completely enveloped in darkness as its arms act as wings and his legs became claws of darkness while looking very menacing.

The sudden appearance of the darkness brought the other villain's attention as Konako notices the darkness as she asks her boss, "Say Volcano isn't that the kid from the news of U.A. high school all looking for?"

Floating above them Yami was looking at his new form and admired it as if commented himself about the form, 'Cool! I look like melodies assault mode with all of this darkness on me!'

Tsumuji looking at Yami shows an annoyed expression as he yells at him, "Hey! You dark emo-looking dark lord bitch stop being edgy!"

Yami looking at the man with odd blades for fingers begins to come to the ground level as he glares at the three while they aren't affected by the glare.

Yami places his foot on the ground as he walks through the lava magma-like substance as his feet of darkness absorb into him.

Volcano seeing this just raises his arm at him as he replies to Yami in an arrogant tone, "Tch. Your flashy quirk users think you all are so special here take this and die!"

*Slosh*

Next, a condensed stream of lava came out of Volcano's hand as it was being directed in his direction as Yami glances at it feeling the heat it gave off.

However, Yami at that moment was thinking of something else entirely as the attack of Volcano came towards him as he thought to himself, 'I should think the opposite of how darkness fruit goes for my power the opposite of light…'

As Yami raises his hand and using the gravity of his darkness he repels the stream of lava to Volcano and his group as they saw it coming back around!

Responding to this they all moved away from their original location as they spread out.

Taking a close eye of the thieves Yami takes careful observation of the three as they surround him as Yami thought to himself, 'What is the opposite of light and what abilities do I gain from it? Since I have the ability to manipulate gravity could I also gain the other abilities that most anime and science have that acquiesces with darkness? Negative mass, dark matter, and dark energy with it as well?'

Observing the area Konako began to release an ash-like substance around the whole street as they laughed as the entire scene was now being placed in a large smokescreen.

Seeing this Yami decided to think of a solution while testing out another test, 'Ok since I have gravity manipulation maybe I should change my body to be a negative mass body. If a user has negative mass, which is the opposite of positive mass it will cause their body to work differently, and can-do things like levitate, cause objects they push to pull and go towards the user instead of away, and vice versa with pulling becoming pushes.'

Thinking of this Yami tries to see if he can change his body to fit the role of negative mass making his whole-body mass a negative state.

Soon the darkness surrounding Yami began to emit a dark color light aura around him as if something had changed and sure enough…

*Swoosh*

The gravitation pulls of Yami's body became negative and forced anything near him to be drastically be pulled in an instant.

The user can create, shape, and manipulate negative mass, a hypothetical concept of matter whose mass is of opposite sign to the mass of normal matter, e.g. −2 kg.

Such matter would violate one or more energy conditions and show some strange properties, stemming from the ambiguity as to whether attraction should refer to force or the oppositely oriented acceleration for negative mass.

As such for example if anything around him is filled with positive mass the normal amount of everything in the world is filled with positive mass but the second Yami turns his positive to negative…

It switches around from positive of his gravity of things being pushed into the negative of things pulling towards him instead.

However, Yami himself is not affected by his own power as his body has the negative mass defiance as the user can ignore negative mass if they have any, causing them to pull instead of pushing and vice versa or go upward instead of down because of gravity.

The ground, concrete, air, and the villains were immediately pulled in from the sudden forces of gravity at play as Yami stood perfectly in place smirking at them as he spoke, "So I do have the ability to use negative mass? If that is the case, then what more abilities do I have hidden with my power?"

As the villains were coming near him, he stopped his negative mass from surrounding everything as everything seem to have stopped as everything that began to pull towards them stopped at that second confusing Yami greatly?

Tilting his head at this the villains were getting very wary of Yami seemingly doing as he pleases with gravity as thinks to this problem, 'What? They just stop once the forces of negative mass effect are no longer active, they return to their normal gravity. Hmm… let's try this a different way then?'

As the villains were getting tired of this Tsumuji used his quirk <Fan> to rotate at a fast-enough speed that he began to create a miniature wind blade as he launched in Yami's direction!

*Shing*

As the wind blade flown off the same as Yami proceeded to cover his armor with the same negative mass as before but this time coated on his arm as he positioned it to the wind blade as he tried to pull it with his normal darkness gravity manipulation as a small black vortex tried to pull the attack that seems to have stopped on the stop instead surprising everyone.

Volcano seeing this just got angrier at the scene as he yells at Yami, "You damn brat!! I'll make you pay for this – "

*BOOM*

*SHING*

*SPLAT*

However, before Volcano can finish the same direction as Tsumuji wind blade attacked Yami returned it in full force as the darkness that was pulling the attack of it accelerated the return instead as Tsumuji head was chopped off!

Yami seeing this was impressed with this trick he did as he thought in amusement, 'I see… so if I pull in any attack that was stuck by my darkness while I have the negative mass effect on a part of my body I can use my negative mass to repel the attack at a greater force by pulling it. Zehahaha!'

Yami seeing that the negative mass has a useful ability as it can accelerate himself if he pulls in the right direction to his target in an instant.

"AHHH!"

The citizens were shocked seeing Yami firsthand as the villains tried to book it knowing that they are completely outclassed here.

However, Yami won't let them escape that easily.

Positioning his arm behind the two villains running away in opposite directions he uses the <Dark Shadow> arms to grabbed them as they tried to use their quirks but as they were brought in Yami was getting increasingly tired as he was catching his breath in surprise.

Seeing this it seems to him that using too much darkness like this to cover himself and the negative mass effect is draining him quicker as he showed his dissatisfaction as he used <Erasure> on Volcano, "Tch. I guess using my darkness this much will drain me a lot faster than I need to increase my training limit damn it. Oh, well at least I get something out of this."

Placing the both of them in a dark sphere he starts to absorb Volcano of his <Eruption> as he has gotten the quirk he quickly disposed of him as he used his darkness gravity to crush the body causing Konako to pale.

Yami seeing this smile at her he replies in a cruel smirk, "Oh no little lady what I have planned for you is far worse… hehehe… I hope you and the other villains can help me brainwash practice with some electricity? Or better yet a dummy for my girls to use on you as they see fit after all they are a bit…"

Yami took this time to think before forming the correct term to use to cause the girl to pale at him, "… perverted… I did steal their virginities after all so they might be sexually frustrated but hey you at least get to live right?"

The idea gave Konako fear as she tries to take her own life with her club but was knocked out by <Dark Shadow> as he placed her in the <Dark Space> as he says to himself, "Hmm… maybe I should train my body stamina to the limits. But knowing that I can use negative mass maybe I should call that form when I use it on myself, <Dark Negative> and my current battle form, <Dark Assault>. Yeah, that sounds about good."

With that as soon as Yami returned he was quickly surrounded by heroes and police alike as they say to him in a demanding tone, "VILLAIN YOU ARE UNDER ARREST!!!"

Seeing this Yami began to form a ball of darkness as he wanted to try out a move to change the day to night as he tells the world his voice, "No way. There is no force that can stop my rise to power Heroes, and police alike I will stand above you as I'm the villain that society has created from the harshness of its reality. The villain is known as Yami the [Blackout]. <DARKNESS>!"

Catching everyone by surprise by using the ball of darkness to absorb EVERYTHING of the light rays of the sun as the whole day in the area began to turn into pitch black.

<Darkness> covers a large area in darkness while absorbing the photons in the surrounding area as well as sound waves ensuring nothing can be heard by making everything, effectively shifting day into actual silence of the night.

While the police and heroes try to make light the <Darkness> in the area would consume it as Yami changed into a different disguise as he left under the night he created with the only one seeing his way out as he was close to running out of stamina quickly.

As the <Darkness> cleared up everyone noticed that Yami was nowhere to be seen and that left a chill to everyone as they couldn't see or hear what they were doing but can feel the despair that the villain now named Blackout was at large…
