<2 months later on a cliff facing the capital city of the church of light>

(AN: Yes this church is something I thought of from an anime and yes its a stupid and generic name)

"Right i think my preparations are as good as they will ever be, time to break my wife out of prison". As Adam finished talking he donned his old black cloak and mask and grabbed his magic revolver and put it on his hip then grabbed his remote and activated his skill *magic constructs* and sent a army of magic construct beasts while riding his horse.

As he neared the wall he activated his explosives and blew holes in the walls.

<pov: random soldier 15 minute before the attack>

"man am tired" as he rubbed his eyes he looked to his hands and grabbed a book and started reading

*right before the attack*

'what is that' he thought as he saw something on a cliff in the distance and grabbed a telescope and saw the outfit and freaked out and yelled "Its the legendary assassin Black night!" after he finished his sentence a see through black colored giant bird grabbed him. "Ahhh!!!".

"Now where is Emma pierce!". as Adam said that he punched the soldier his magic construct bird brought him.

???:" s..sh..she's in the castle dungeon!"

"thank you, now your death will be quick and painless". as he finished his sentence he shot the soldier in between the eyes.

"now to save my Emma"

<2 hours later>

We see our protagonist spareing most of the people as he killed his way to the castle. but he did find those spies that "killed" him and gave them a slow painful death.

*knocking*

"hello am here to see a miss emma pierce"

???:"Sorry no vis...ack!"

"sorry I wasn't really asking" as he said that he snapped the guards neck.

"now where is emma". As he said that he noticed a figure hiding in a dark corner of a cell.

"psst"

Emma:" he's gone he's gone he's gone"

All he could here was her mumbling and it broke his heart seeing those empty eyes. so he quickly unlocked the door and ran and hugged her.

"it's ok emma am here now. I never died i used my magic to make it look like I died" even though he did "die" but he won't tell her that. anyway I used another ability to help heal her mental state called * mind heal*. instantly her eyes regained their beautiful light as she hugged me tightly and started sobbing.

"shh its ok am here now its ok'

Emma:" i..i.. thought you died and I just broke inside and I didn't know what to do and..and" she then proceeded to cry hard for a couple of hours.

<2 hours later>

After she finished crying she fell asleep and I used mind magic to keep her asleep.

"time to dethrone the king" after he said that he laughed darkly with a wicked smile on his face.
