Dawn's POV

The courtroom clears out almost immediately after the council dismisses them, but not without a couple curious glances and shocked conversing. Everyone leaves, everyone beside Finn and I who remain frozen in place. Finn looks almost shocked himself, as if he only just realised what he had agreed to. What do you say to the man that saved you from becoming nothing, protected you from the evil people in positions of power and authority, and what do you say to the man who means everything to you, when you have given very little back.

"Finn..." I try and talk, but the words remain trapped within my throat. Before I get the chance to tragically reattempt any form of dialogue, Finn begins to speak.
