3 Bad lunch?

As lunch began to start, all of the students arrived; their footsteps began to get louder as they approached the cafeteria. Seth walked up to the fruit basket looking at it blankly, he reached his arm out, grabbing an apple. He put the apple near his face and took a good look at it, observing it. He brought his food and sat down on a nearby empty table. Maria walked by staring at Seth as he'd look down at the table. His head raised turning it over to Maria. She gasped, blushed then turned her head as her red hair flowed in the air followed by a grunt.

Peter's back was hunched over looking right at Maria. He contemplated talking to her, then finally decided to do it. As he walked closer to Maria, he trips and falls flat on his face. Maria would turn over to Peter with swiftness. She crouched down to ask:

"Hey, are you alright?"

Maria said this appearing to be annoyed. Peter shot up, embarrassed, jumping straight up as his face looked to be as red as a tomato.

"Y-yes, of course, I'm fine!!"

Peter started to sweat. Maria let out a chuckle then turned around walking away from him. Steam started to shoot out from Peter, but then he'd turn his head over looking straight at Seth, running towards him with excitement. Seth's head turned as he saw Peter sitting next to him and hitting his shoulder. Peter's arms flew up into the air as he let out a sigh.

"I'm pretty sure that I'll get with the most beautiful girl ever in this school!"

He shouted as he was overjoyed. Seth stared at Peter with a blank face then turn back looking at his apple. Peter faced Seth, grabbing his shoulders.

"isn't Maria just great?! She's the best ever!!"

Peter would yell in pure excitement and bliss. Seth's shoulder shrugged as if he didn't care about her, which made Seth look absolutely suspicious. Maria's beauty is greater than the heavens itself.

Loud footsteps began to get closer to Seth and Peter, followed by a loud grunt. Seth looked up with his usual blank face. Peter sat up speechless. Maria sat down in front of Seth yelling out a large:

"How dare you!! I didn't forget what happened earlier, you jerk."

Maria's face began to glow red, then she'd lecture Seth on what happened before school.

"I can't believe you let me fall and not even ask if I was okay. Are you really that cruel?" said Maria. Peter heard this and was filled with rage.

Peter tried and get Seth's attention, but he fails to do so. His face would appear angry as his head would look at seth with madness. Peter would slam his fist to the table screaming:

"Seth!!"

Peter got closer to Seth and grabbed his shirt bringing him closer. Peter would grit his teeth and asked Seth:

"What are you doing?! You know I like her, so why do you think it's okay to get her attention like this?!" Seth would shrug his shoulders once again.

The room would stop in silence. People from a couple tables across would stare at the two. Maria took a step back, tilting her head as she was confused. Right then, she started to realize what was going on. Maria's hands rose, meeting her chest then waving them as she started to get nervous.

"H-hold on, I think you got the wrong idea."

Peter quickly turned to Maria and then turn back to Seth. He shoved Seth to the ground

"You better watch yourself before I beat your ass. You got that?" Peter would twitch as he dusted off his shoulder. He thought about what he said and then quickly apologized to Seth.

"looks like I got a little carried away there, Im sorry."

Seth would just shrug tilting his head. Peters teeth would grit while he took a step to Seth. Maria rushed in with amazing speed, squeezing in between of the two

"H-hey! Knock it off. you got the wrong idea! You're looking like a bully because you're a bigger guy trying to beat up a kid that can't fight or do anything back!"

Peter would chuckle as he heard that and his ego began to inflate.

"That's right, he's a weakling!! I'm so much better than Seth."

Maria gasped then said:

"just shut up. He can't fight for himself! and girls don't like bullies, you idiot!!"

Peter took a step back.

"y-yeah I'm sorry about that, but if he keeps thinking he's better than me, I swear I'll kill him!"

Seth stood up patting himself to get rid of the dust from the dirty floor while walking over to the table. He grabbed his apple then walked away. Peter turned, over grabbing Seth's shoulder

"Where do you think you're going?!"

Seth's eye took a glance over to Peter. His right arm moved up at a tremendous speed; back handing Peters arm away. Maria and Peter walked backwards while gasping in fright. Seth turned, staring Peter directly in his eyes. Peter grunted then he swung his right arm with a perfect right hook punch directly to Seth's face. But something that surprised everyone watching happened. Seth dodged the punch, moving over to his left. Seth took a deep breath and said in a strangely relieved voice:

"thanks for not hitting me".

Peter was speechless, not knowing what to say. Seth's quiet and calm voice startled everyone who was observing their quarrel. Maria's expression was blank.

"wait hold on did you actually miss on purpose?"

Peter observed his open palms in confusion.

"n-no, I actually tried hitting him. I'm sure that I did, but how did he dodge-?"

Maria gave out a sigh.

"I suppose he was just lucky, but don't do that again. It's not manly at all! Just try and make up, please, aren't you both friends? N-not that I care."

Peter looked at maria in an understanding way, and began to walk away and shrug it off.

"Seth is definitely hiding something but what could it be?"

Peter looked over to the wall confused as he saw a strange substance.

"hold on, is this an Apple?"

The apple was splattered over the walls. It seemed as if someone took a hammer and slammed it to the wall. Peter looked directly at it. There appeared to be a small pocket knife

"no way- Did he do all of this with such a small knife?! And when?"

Suddenly, The bell rang in order to let everyone know that next period is ready.
