How long has it been since I came to this dump of a city?
Ah, six years going on seven.
I originally came here to change my life, go on an adventure, see the world... maybe a little romance~
But alas, when I received my adventurer card, it was like reality slapping me in the face, as my status said this.

I have no idea what my first skill was, but the others were 'locked' for some reason. At first, I complained to the receptionist only to receive a strange look before hearing something weird at the time.
"what are you talking about? There aren't any skills there! either tell me what request you want to take or take a hike!"
I showed my card to a few more people only to receive the same answer.
"There aren't any skills!"
Without any skills, I couldn't get anyone to party with me, I was jobless at the moment too, so I had to join the guild and took the desk job... so much for adventuring and seeing the world.
It wasn't all that bad; I was able to get my mind off of things, although the drinking parties suck ass since I was being mistaken for a child... damned gnome genes!
It hurt even more when you fall for someone only to find out they thought that you were a child helping their parent at the guild as they reject your advances while saying you lack the height or curves...

I was rescued a few times by my fellow receptionists and by big mama, whose name is Alicia, from some slavers and perverts in the past haa~.
Such a life I am having.
But things got stranger when that day came along, as a certain adventurer arrived and scared me pretty badly!

I was saved by my friend at the time and let me go home. I cleaned myself up then got changed to head to Big Mama to forget it all happened, something I have been doing for so long since I couldn't live my dream.
Then fate decided to play with me as the terrifying man was just outside the dorm!
I began hiccuping from failing to process this properly before thinking to myself.

I was about to warn them that Big Mama wouldn't take kindly if they tried hurting me since she treated me like her own daughter, but MY knight approached a nearby log that was used to support one of the stalls before he said this.
"Are you sure that you want to do this?"
He was starting to make my legs feel like jello as he was trying to protect me, unlike the other men I traveled to the market with in the past.
He then pulled the log out of the ground, then whacked the leader in the face, blocked a few laced arrows before breaking a piece off, then threw it at the archer.
These quick actions thoroughly scared the living daylights out of all the guards!
Lady of fate, I think I understand why you made him meet me again... I'm making him my man no matter what!
What happened the whole night after getting him to drink that special concoction, hehe, I don't think I need to say it as I also gained enlightenment as to what my skill does after trying to figure it out for so long...

And one thing's for sure... looking at the spiked tail I now have... I don't think Mark is human, but that didn't make me scared at all as this also lets me get a chance to go on some adventures, well, that and more awesome night sessions as he was a monster in bed!

I was hiding under the blanket right now as my new tail dangled off the side of the bed as I waited for the man or beast or monster, whatever he is.
but yeah, I really need to let him know as Mark came back carrying a couple of plates as he froze as his eyes were wide open upon seeing my new tail that was wagging upon seeing him~
