Chapter eight 

Yu Dan was showering before she goes out of her room for their family dinner when she heard a loud crash in the bathroom. Yu Dan almost jumped out of her skin, and she turn towards the direction of the sound and saw a fire red fox that have wings lapping at its leg while looking at her with a condescending stare. Yu Dan was too stunned to see a fox in her bathroom to have any physical reaction so there was enough time for the animal to start speaking.

"Human, I am your Ling animal and hereby offer you a spot at the school of sun and moon. I will be by your side until you start school and thus your guide to a world that your human mind will definitely not understand. The school is for you to learn everything from the art of the gods, witchcraft or even normal human skills like a doctor."

Yu Dan knew that with her memories of her previous life, just by buying lucky draw could ensure that the whole family do not need to work for the rest of their life. and of course, because Yu Dan is just purely lazy so she ask the strange animal.

"The school of sun and moon? Why should I go to school when I could stay home and accompany my mother when there is no need for me to work?"

The look in the fox eyes curiously make Yu Dan have the urge to laugh but very soon the urge was stifled when she heard what the fox said next.

"Do you not want to know why in your previous life you are subjected to such treatment from your birth family?"

The stifling memories almost was released from the gates that Yu Dan have enforced in her mind for these memories when she heard what the fox had said. But Yu Dan forced herself not to think and agreed without even thinking to what the fox said and decided to go to the school that the fox mentioned. Yu Dan decided not to let her family members to wait for her and very soon was sat down in front of a piping hot meal that she have not seen for a lifetime already. It was a meal that Yu Mei, her adoptive mother had cooked.

Although Yu Dan was lazy, but nothing could stopped her when she decided to do something so she was happily tucking into her meal while reading the brochure that the fox had given her. The shock of an animal suddenly appearing in her bathroom had Yu Dan being used to the fact that her family members could not see the animal beside her and Yu Dan not even blinking an eye when the brochure of the school of the sun and moon start floating in front of her.
