Chapter eleven

Ava's point of view

As I walked into the living room I spotted two guys standing with Sophie.They both looked tall and were definitely eye catching but danger was practically spelt across their foreheads,not only just with their looks but their eyes looked strange,hunter like.Not to mention that both of their skin was fairly pale.

One of the guys standing by the door turned around when I entered and immediately started scanning my whole body from head to toe.What is happening today.Why are so many guys checking me out;not that I'm complaining but with him I felt slightly uncomfortable.

"Hey beautiful what's your name."

I saw Sophie and some guy who I'm guessing is her boyfriend stare at me with curiosity.

"Ava."

"Why are you standing there all alone come join us."

I walked over slowly and decided to stand next to Sophie not trusting either of these guys.Out of nowhere I felt someone snaking their arm around my waist and suddenly felt all the hairs on my skin rising.Turning around I came face to face with the very same guy again.       

My heart started pounding against my chest and I couldn't tell whether or not it was from blushing or liking him or from being scared of him.I looked into his eye's and saw nothing but coldness in them which had me whimpering slightly.His eyes held no emotion except for the one that said "don't mess with me unless you have a death wish."

"Relax beautiful I won't hurt you."

"I-I'm-I'm-sorry."

Fuck.What the hell's wrong with me.

"That's a good girl now let's go into the TV room and wait for Derek and Sophie"

I don't know why but I felt the need to escape far,far away from him and be with him at the very same time.I obediently followed and sat on a one person sofa not really trusting my emotions and hormones at this very moment.After making myself comfortable I heard him chuckling.

"What's wrong sweet heart,are you scared of me that much."

Yes.

"No."

"So why are you sitting there all on your own,come join me."

I stared at his hand and saw him patting the space next to him.Knowing that this guy was dangerous just from his looks I decided not to argue and obediently sat next to him,not that my hormones were complaining.

I felt him resting his arm around my shoulders but chose not to annoy him by pushing it away.The tension between us was well noticed and awkward and my hormones were driving me crazy at the same time.Damn I think I'll be starting my periods very soon.I decided to be the bigger person and start a conversation with him.

"So you never told me your name."

"Already falling for me I see."

Nope and never.Unless my hormones state other wise.

"Umm no I was just asking out of curiosity."

"Rellik."

"Rellik,what does it mean."

I don't remember hearing of such a name but I guess there's a first time for everything.

"Read it backwards and you'll see."

Rellik-Rellik.O.M.G.Rellik is actually Killer spelt backwards.I am actually sitting next to a murder,lord have mercy.I felt my body tensing at the realisation of what his name means.Now I'm really fucked,my parents will be so proud of me.

"You-you...."

"Don't worry I won't hurt you."

Phew.Thank god.Nope.Not, Falling.For.It.Don't all murders say that before actually killing their victims.

"Unless you get on my bad side of course."

Shit.Knew it, he's just playing mind games with me and why does my body like betraying me like this.This is definitely another level of hormone sickness.Oh fuck this I'm looking at him, hopefully I'll be able to remember my killers face after he kills me.I slowly turned my face and stared at him to the point were I'm pretty sure that he could see the fear in my eyes.

I felt him slowly withdrawing his hands from my shoulders and sliding it around my waist.My body once again tensed up from his touch.

"Relax."

I tried,note really tried but couldn't relax.After our little chat Sophie and Derek walked in and sat on the sofa opposite Rellik and I.Derek held beverages in his hands and Sophie had snacks,yum.

Why couldn't I be stuck with Derek instead of killer or Rellik or whatever his name is.He looks much more sweeter than this murder next to me.After placing the beverages on the table Derek started the movie. Weird.As soon the movie started Derek started smirking at Sophie and she tensed up.Just like me.

I really wanted to scold her,I mean my babysitter is a vampire wasn't scary at all and Derek too.What caught my eye though was that when the vampire leader turned his girlfriend into a vampire Sophie winced.

And also when his bestfriend turned her bestfriend into a vampire,the nerd with the blond hair who was suppose to be babysitting, Rellik or whatever and Derek both looked at me and smirked.

What.The.Fuck.Is this some sort of sign from the universe.Did I miss something or is today national smirking day too.I'm not sure what was happening but as quickly as it appeared it also vanished as if it wasn't there.

I felt a sharp stinging pain by my hip that was free from Relliks touch and soon afterwards felt myself becoming sleepy,slowly leaning in towards Rellik with Sophie's voice in the background telling me something that I couldn't clearly make out. I couldn't help but let the darkness consume me and I happily invited it.Time to go back to lala land.
