54 Razorback.

(Quick brag. My dad bought us a pet mini goat. His name is Jacob, and he is adorable. Plus I graduate tomorrow. Finally.)

Crossing the Underworld was rather easy once you acquired the ability to fly, teleport, or both. As for Adrian, he did not want to teleport as it was rather eye-catching. Instead, he brought out both his Griffon who had a very unique ability.

He called it Skulking Wraith as they could partially fuse with the wind to fly faster. It was a unique ability to Roya Griffons and their feathers were the direct containers of such a power. Adrian was glad they kept that in the stuffing or he would not know of such an ability.

Adrian, Amara, Rexam, Lathia, and Aurelia rode on the male which was bigger and stronger than the female. Just as a stuffing he was 30 meters long, but after becoming an Abyss Demon he became 45 meters in size.

The female was only 20 meters in size as a stuffing so she was 35 meters in size now. The 5 subordinates of Aurelia rode on her back. While they flew past the land Rexam was glancing around with a tiny bit of curiosity. He was never one for sightseeing so it was just boredom he felt at this moment.

He lived with his fists since he was 5, they were all that he believed in. If he could punch it, he could destroy it. Until he met Amara, but even her scales cracked under his might.

"So what are these Devils you talk about? I know that the blueberry here is one, but if that is all they amount to just send me over."

Lathia frowned at his words. She touched her hair as she looked at it.

"Blueberry?"

Rexam shrugged.

"I'm not good with names so I call people by nicknames to remember not to punch them."

Lathia did not want to talk to him much as she was quite scared of him. She kept glancing at the literal group of world-ending people around her. Even the two Griffons that they were ridding were enough to fight armies on their own so she felt insignificant. Despite that, she had been training in the tower.

Still, it was not much compared to the madness around her. She was surrounded by monsters so her talent was brought to question.

"I am not a good example of the strength of Devils. The four Devil Kings will be a greater threat than I could ever be."

Aurelia knew why her father was confused.

"In our world, Devils are fiends of Hell. To me, you just look like a human with wings. Your 'demonic power' also does not feel like Hell energy."

Lathia had no way to answer that so she turned to her master. Adrian had his eyes closed as he kept his head on Amara's lap. The dragon seemed to be quite happy to give her master this affection. She loved playing with his hair and beard as she thought it made him look manlier.

He always kept his hair short, but his beard full. He felt it was a good time to go clean-shaven once again, but if she liked it he would keep it. As for Rexam's question he decided to answer. He opened one eye and glanced over toward him.

"That is quite easy to answer Rex."

Rexam groaned internally.

'Damn geezer, my name is Rexam.'

He did not correct Adrian as he just wanted to complain. Adrian continued his explanation as his two Griffons fused their giant wings with the wind to blast forward.

"Let's start with what Devils are or how they began. In this world, there is this dude called God. He is holier than though prick so he created his own race called Angels. Of course, those do not need to be explained do they?"

Rexam shook his head as he expected something like those.

"Yeah, I know what Angels are. Fun to punch."

Adrian rolled his eye.

"Anyway, he created his angels, and among them were his Archangels. Powerful 12 winged angels, but one of them was named Lucifer. He betrayed God and became the First Devil. Of course, God created his own race of humans and he first created Adam and Lilith."

Aurelia completed the story.

"This seems pretty cut and dry, Lilith refused to submit to Adam and was cast down right?"

Adrian nodded.

"Yeah, Lucifer married her and used her body to produce Devils. That is the very reason Devils as a race are decent, but not perfect. They are manufactured and limited by their own race. It's why Lathia here is rather pitiful."

She recoiled at his words.

"Master you can be cruel you know that."

Adrian sat up and reached out to pat her head. His hand was big enough to cover her whole head, but she got the message.

"I am blunt, but I am not trying to discourage you. That very reason is why if you can push past that natural limit you can become far stronger. Maybe in a few centuries, you will know what I mean."

He got up as Lathua touched her head.

'Breaking the natural limit? I have to if he believes in me.'

Rexam snorted.

"Alright, I'm bored. Where are the stuck-up vampires so I can kill them?"

Adrian scoffed.

"Earth, and Europe."

Rexam looked to his 'master' with some excitement.

"How strong are they?"

Adrian pointed at Latia who had reached the Ultimate Class, but barely. She was thinking about how to break the limit, but she thought he would praise her.

"Maybe as strong as her?"

Hearing that seemed to have popped the Demon King's bubble.

"Man, that is certainly disappointing. If that is all they amount to I will rather return to climbing that accursed tower."

Lathia felt swords pierce her already frail heart.

"Ouch. I know I am not the strongest, but I am not a monster without sense like all of you. Give me some time."

Adrian ignored that.

"Lathia now would be a good chance to tell me all you know about your clan. Where are they so I can talk to Lord Vasago before I kill them all?"

Lathia knew he was serious as the Devils were more useful to him as material than alive. He was just keeping his Devil pact even if it lost its hold over him when he devoured the Zombie King's soul.

"My territory of the Vassago clan is out in the reaches of Devil territory. We are one of the clans that like its privacy so we chose that location ourselves. As for the Great War, it still rages to this day so the three Factions are at war."

Rexam as the Demon King of War was most certainly curious to learn about this world's wars.

"Tell me blueberry, what caused this war?"

When he spoke the oppressiveness of his power for a moment made her bones feel like they were breaking.

"Well, you heard about God and his angels as well as us Devils. There is also a third faction of Fallen Angels who were cast out of Heaven for any number of reasons. They are led by Azazel who is the only 12-winged Fallen Angel and a monstrous tactician.

As for why the War started it comes down to believing their race is the better one. It all started with skirmishes 2 thousand years ago and it still rages to this day. I left my clan after my father's other children wanted to take over the family.

They rather kill me than let a bastard like me even have a chance at succeeding father. So i left then the master found me."

Amara opened her white eyes and glanced in the distance.

"I can see a battle ongoing. Things that feel like you and what I think an angel is."

Rexam glanced over and noticed it as well.

"What do you know, you are right. That a trick stone scales."

"No. Simple dragon supremacy."

Rexam crossed his arms as he cracked his knuckles.

"You want to put those words to the test stone scales. I will make it my goal to shatter your scales."

Adrian slammed his fist down on his skull which caused the Abyss Fire to cause pain to Rexam.

"Later, Razorback. Go."

From Adrian's shadow emerged the giant purple worm that had black stripes all over his body. The giant creature fell downward toward the ground and siked below like the ground was water. It began to bore through the earth to reach the battlefield and feast. Both Griffons screeched as they rushed forward at their max speeds.

Abyss Fire burned in their wings and that seemed to have given them rocket engines to speed forward. Adrian was itching to put his Abyss creations to work.

---

Lord Vasago commanded his remaining 15 Legions of Devils atop his giant crocodile mount. The number of Devils under his command numbered in the hundreds of thousands as each legion contained 50,000. This was a sad reminder of what he had once had as in the distant past his legions numbered 26.

Each legion back then had 120,000 Devils, but over the centuries of bloody war, he lost too many. He had o field smaller legions and keep pulling more out from each one to reinforce the others.

"LEGION 1-5 FOCUS ON CONSTANT MAGIC ATTACKS. LEGION 6-8, FOCUS ON LONG-DISTANCE COVERING FIRE. LEGION'S 9-13 FOCUS ON SUPPORT. LEGIONS 14-15 MELEE RANGE!"

His legions were spread out by their speculation and this had been his method of combat. It was simple but brutally effective. In the distance, Uriel led the angels with holy fire roasting any Fallen or Devil they touched.

The lead commander of the Fallen this time was Baraqiel and holy lightning flashed and roared in the sky turning angels and Devils into dust. Lord Vasago's innate ability of Nullification worked just as well on the two powerhouses, so their signature abilities ceased.

That only lasted for a second, but that was an eternity to them. His crocodile mount opened its mouth and fired a bright red beam of fire toward Baraqiel while he blasted a giant ray of Nullifying energy targeted toward holy energy.

If that hit the holy energy that made up Uriel's body would be canceled killing him. Of course, neither Baraqiel nor Uriel were worried, and neither did Lord Vasago think he would succeed. Baraqiel slashed the attack open with a sword of light while a burning holy sword deflected the blat toward the sky.

"Foolish Vasago."

Baraqiel did not bother with pleasantries as he commanded the legions of Fallen under him. This was just a skirmish so small casualties were expected. The main battles that involved the Devil Kings, Miachel, and Azazel were becoming uncommon.

Just as Uriel and Baraqiel were going to order a retreat after inflicting more losses toward the Vasago they heard a rumbling below the ground. The crocodile mount that Lord Vasago rode flew higher into the sky confusing the devil.

"What is wrong?"

'Danger.'

At that moment Razorback the giant Abyss Worm rose into the Angel's and in one go devoured hundreds of them. Uriel was shocked for a split second, but it was replaced by anger.

'Damn beast.'

His wings flickered, but he controlled his anger to attack. A giant swing of holy energy rushed to take the head off of Razorback, but the worm did as expected. He did not take the blow but hid underground.

As for the attack it caused serious damage for hundreds of miles that made Lord Vasago cursed. Being on the outskirts was no longer good as he got stuck with battles no one bothered with.

Just as Uriel thought he scared away Razorback it jumped in the air eating more angels. He was ready this time and he vanished in a flash of purple flames. He appeared right next to Razorback and covered his hand in holy fire.

His fist smashed through the carapace of Razorback who glanced at the pinch it felt. Uriel roared as fire blasted throughout his body. Many of them escaped through the cracks of the carapace causing Razorback to fall.

Uriel was confident he killed the monster and averaged his subordinates. He let his guard down for a split second and when he turned around a black fist was going toward his face. It landed on his cheek which cracked his jaw and cheeks while his only thoughts were conflicted.

'Who is this girl?'

Amara's punch launched him away for miles and in great pain. She still made sure he made sure to hit him hard enough to break his jaw while keeping him alive. That seemed to have caused the whole battlefield to go silent as this strange girl appeared out of nowhere.

Baraqiel and Lord Vasago realized that she was only going for the Angels. As for the dead worm they watched it shake itself off as the fire given by Uriel was not very tasty. Amara realized the full force of the aura of a Heavenly Dragon causing everyone on the battlefield to pay attention.

"My master has a few words to discuss with both of you. Not you though."

She waved her hand and petrified the angel's mid-air. The very air around them petrified them still in the sky. Lord Vasago and Baraqiel saw that hundreds of thousands of angels were reduced to statues by one wave of her hand.

She boosted her voice with magic so she was heard.

"I am keeping them petrified for now. I will release them later. My master has better use for flesh than a stone after all. Lord Vasago, your family member is employed under my master the Soul Lord. He demands you submit and join us with your life or be turned into an Abyss Demon.

Pick now."

Lord Vasago's eyes went wide as he knew what that was. One of the Devil families was an expert on prophecies and they had lost one of their best in a vision. The one who made the prophecy had screamed about a Soul Lord who rode on a dragon that turned all to stone.

'This is the dragon in human form. Where is the Soul Lord?'

Just as he said that he looked up at the two giant griffons that were flying in the sky. Adrian crossed his arms as he pushed Lathia forward.

"Go on and give your demands Lathia."

Lord Vasago did not know who she was, but she had the bloodline from him.

"What is the meaning of this?"

Lathia sighed.

"I made a Devil pact with the Soul Lord. He will make me the next heard of the Vassago clan to keep you all alive. Of course, you will join anyway if you resist."

Baraqiel had been ignored for now as Adrian would talk with him later. Now the choice came onto Lord Vasago as his life hung in the balance. Adrian would be glad if he rejected as he could fuse him and his crocodile together to make a new demon.
