2 Massacre of Pests and Undead Asylum(Rewrite)

Adrian charged ahead along with the ethereal Wolf at his side. The wolf entered his body and once more all his instincts fired to life. But this time it was so much stronger than when he was human.

He felt his muscles bulge with the force to rip a man to shreds, and his tendons and ligaments tensed tight. His heart was a furnace as his hot flowed hot. His soul lit up like a black flame filling his body with even more strength causing him to shatter the very ground under his feet.

He charged like an unstoppable train and he swung his giant Fume Knight Greatsword down cutting and crushing a monster scorpion the size of a bull. He felt a single soul enter his system, but he ignored it.

First Blood had kicked his desire for murder into overdrive. He kicked out and caved the head of a centipede in, not just that its whole body crumpled in on itself.

The swarm of bugs was not scared one bit as they swarmed their prey through numbers. It would tire and they would feast on its body. But Adrian was not prey. He gripped the handle of his longsword diagonally cutting a giant worm in half.

A centipede launched itself at his body and tried to bite his leg. However, he spun around in full armor and spin-kicked it across the head causing it to explode. He bent his body and both swords turned bright and hot he charged toward swinging without end.

His stamina was unending, his strength never left him, and his focus was honed to the extreme. Each of his swings bisected the insects or turned them into a paste. His greatsword was a sword, shield, and hammer as it turned the pests into a bloody paste.

His longsword was sharp, fast, and sliced through them like butter. The bugs were starting to get worried as even with their swarm this prey kept fighting. It should have tired out by now, but it was not.

At this point, his swords were already covered in fire. He crossed both in the sky which unleashed a burning hot wave of fire to burn the bugs to ash.

*SCREECH*

Their screams were cut only by more carnage as he just did not stop coming after them. After what felt like hours of slaughter, he found that they had retreated while he was surrounded by a mountain of corpses. He took a breath as he was not even tired.

'System, how many souls did I get?'

<Analyzing. 100 120 180 234 350 Giant Worms are worth souls per kill. Centipedes souls, Scorpions 800. The host killed worms, centipedes, and scorpions. Souls Earned: Earned, 209,400 souls.>

"Not bad at all. Is there an inventory?"

<Affirmative. >

He waved his hand and stored the mountain of corpses inside of it. He could always find some use for the body parts as monsters had to be useful.

"How do I enter the system? Is it only my soul or my whole body?"

<Whole body. The host need not worry about finding a safe place.>

"Fine, take me to Dark Souls 1."

A giant black portal opened in front of him so he walked in. Lucky for him it was the correct size for him to enter so he did not need to duck. He placed his swords on his back and when he entered everything went blank.

That was the screen that Adrain was looking at when he woke up. He looked around and saw he was in a giant cell with his weapons and armor still with him, but not much else. He looked around and saw he was in the Undead Asylum.

'Here we are.'

Adrian walked toward the bars of his cell and gripped them tight. In one tug he ripped the entire bars of the wall. He stored the bars in his system as he felt they were made of Titanite.

As he was about to leave he heard a voice call out to him.

"Hey, wait. Help me?"

He looked to where the voice came from and heard a feminine voice from another cell. He saw an undead corpse leaning against a wall, but it was alive. It looked hollow but had a feminine voice.

'Is that the chosen undead?'

"Fine."

Adrian walked toward her cell ripped off the bars as well storing them away as well. Once she stepped out of the cell she looked up at Adrian who removed his helmet. His face was rugged but still looked rather noble.

He had a black beard and short black hair with black sclera surrounding bright golden eyes. She barely reached up to his waist. He looked down at 'her' and introduced himself.

"Name's Adrian. You?"

She shook her head.

"I can't remember, the curse of the undead makes us forget."

Adrian began to walk deeper into the Asylum and noticed the walkways were made for his size. As they walked the undead looked at her sword hilt. All it was, was a broken sword she had with her. She could not remember, but she felt like she used to be a swordswoman before the undead curse.

She was interested in what he was, as it was not human that is sure.

"What are you? I know you are not human?"

Adrian spoke without turning around.

"A Fume Knight."

When she heard that she felt that name meant something but she could not remember. She was about to ask more questions to sate her curiosity, but he shut that down. No offense to her.

"Are you not undead?"

He squinted his black golden eyes and shook off her question.

"Stop asking questions, and get ready to escape."

She nodded, but she looked at his weapons and armor.

"You mind lending me a sword."

"No, you would be crushed to use them and they are mine."

He grabbed his longsword which was light for him, but when he held it in front of her she realized he was right. It was taller than she was and from the look of it, made of very pure titanine.

"Well I need a weapon, I can't fight with this broken thing."

He ignored the hollows around as they would not give enough souls for him to level up as he already had more than enough for a few levels ups he was just saving them. However, she was a different story so she stabbed each stationary one in the head killing them.

It did not take her much as most of the hollows did not even react to much of anything. By the time she was done, Adrian was gone from her sight making her run to find him.

She found him in front of a pair of giant doors to her, but to him, they looked normal.

"Why did you not open them?"

He looked behind him toward her and pointed at it.

"Behind this door is a Demon. I was just remembering some things."

She looked up at him and she considered herself quite tall at 6'3, but he dwarfed her by 6 whole feet.

"Demons are strong. Can you kill it?"

"Of course."

He pushed open the doors and walked forward with both swords drawn. When he made it halfway in the giant demon roared out toward him and jumped down to stop him. Once it landed it rushed straight at Adrian to stop him from escaping.

It slammed its giant club down on him, but he dodged to the right and slashed with his long sword at its stubby leg severing it. The giant blade cut through like butter making it fall to one knee.

He lifted his greatsword and swung it down on the demon's head to kill it. However, it raised its hands and caught his blade surprising him with how much power it had. It began to push him back, but he had two swords for a reason. While it was focused on the big one he stabbed his longsword into its chest before slashing up cutting it in half.

Its guts spilled out and it fell to the ground dead, but not turned to mist. He acquired the loot and got 1 Humanity, 10,000 souls, the Big Pilgrim Key, and the Demon Great Hammer. Plus he even had the body of the demon which he could use of.

He stored it in his inventory for when he began to experiment with it. He did not just want to be dumb, he wanted to learn magic, alchemy, and any skill he could make use of.

First, he looked at his greatsword to check for damage. It was not even scratched showing its power of it. He sat down and looked toward the giant doors in front of him.

"Did you get anything from that?"

She nodded.

"I got a lot of souls. Do you not use them?"

He shook his head.

"I actually do, I also got a lot of souls. I guess as long as we go together we get equal souls, but not the main loot. You see that small door to the left?"

She nodded. He pointed at it and nudged her toward it.

"Go, in there you will find a bonfire and a good sword, a shield, and maybe our armored friend."

She looked at the door and walked toward it.

"You can't fit?"

He shook his head.

"Of course, I can't. I can just smash through, but why bother? I will wait here for you and catch you when you jump.

She looked up at where he was looking and saw a fog gate.

"So by taking that entrance, I will end up, up there?"

He nodded.

"Yes. I will just wait here as I think. We also got to get you a way to reverse hollowing."

She looked at him in thought and walked in the gate.

"I will go."

When she entered it closed behind her so she went in as she lit the bonfire in front of her. While she did that he checked his store for humanity.

<Humanity: Shard of the Dark Soul.>

'If I am the grandson of Gwyn, then that means that the Nameless King is my father. And humanity is part of the Dark Soul means I can make use of it?'

He lay down as he waited for the girl with no name. After 5 minutes he received something in his inventory.

<Item received. Estus Flask:10>

"So if she gets a lore item we both get it. Souls are shared equally, but unique weapons are given to the killer. More good things to know."

He was also getting a tiny stream of souls from what she managed to kill and just 10 minutes later she walked through the fog gate.

"Hey, I am going to jump."

He got up and waited for her to leap.

"Go ahead."

She plunged down and before she went splat he snatched her out of the air, by her armor holding her like a kitten.

"Caught you."

He put her down and walked toward the huge doors before he unlocked them with the key. He pushed them open and walked in looking around. Before he checked if the crow could carry him he went around picking up the soul item.

She saw what he got and she was interested in something.

"How do you know so much?"

He looked down at her and answered with something that sounded realistic.

"I can sense their general location. It is about my race, as a Fume Knight. We trace our lineage to the First Born Son of Gwyn and Giants. I was even the Captain of a whole order of us."

He paused when he said the last part.

'What the fuck did I just say?'

She pointed at him in shock.

"You are related to Lord Gwyn?"

He nodded and answered on instinct.

"Yes. He is my grandfather I think."

She was interested in hearing more from a descendent of Lord Gwyn, but for now, they had work to do.

"Questions later, let's go."

He walked to the ledge as she stood next to him. She looked for a way to leave and it was not a crow, it was 3. One of them grabbed her as the two others grabbed his shoulders and flew off with him. It was a good thing as he did not want to be dropped right now.

'System, will my soul be dropped upon death?'

<No. >

'Good. Now we wait to arrive. System why did I say that? Why did I say that?'

<Explanation. You have taken the place of one your alternative selves in this world. The Son Nameless King and Sister to First Giant King. Your hybrid status grants you considerable strength. Memories predecessor will be inherited. >

'Useful and worrisome, but I can't complain much.'
