10 Deal with Khorne, Ornstein and Smough.

When the Giant Blacksmith laid eyes on the Twinkling Titanite Ingots he was shocked and from the look of it excited to use it. Adrian passed the shining ingot to the giant who held it like it was a delicate treasure.

He looked it over from every angle and could feel the power in it. As for Solaire and Seraphine, they gazed at it in pure reverence which reminded him. He looked at the both of them had an idea.

"If you can give me your souls, I will get you material made for you specifically. Of course, I need souls to make it, so pay up."

The giant looked at him in shock.

"You make this."

Adrian nodded.

"Yes, it is an ability I just got when I digested the vast amount of souls from the giants. Sorry about that."

The blacksmith shook his head as he did not see eye to eye with his own kind for what they did to his friend. He mourned the death of all of the Fume Knights as they did not treat him like an idiot or a fool.

Solaire was all for it as he wanted to see what else Adrian could make with his new magic ability. He knew he might have to tell them about his system, but it could wait for now.

"Here take them."

Solaire held Adrian's hand and transferred about 180,000 souls over and with that, the system created a new item for him. It could only make items from the worlds he had unlocked, but it made him wonder about something.

'If I make an alter to Khorne, will Chaos invade this world? I am not strong enough to make an enemy of Chaos as a whole. If I got to work with someone, let it be Khorne. At least he won't try to dittle my holes or scheme at me or try to give me his 'love. He will kill me quickly.'

<No, the Warp does not exist in this world and has no hold here It is trapped in that dimension.>

'Will his blessing make me his slave?'

<No, the host is a servant of the goddess. Khorne and host serve the same master and you must work together to spread as much death as possible. That is how one worships and prays to the goddess.>

'Fine, I will make him his alter. Good thing I still know-how. First I got to get Ornstein's head. I got another question, do the other Chaos gods serve another God like the goddess?'

<...>

'I will take that as a yes. I knew I would become her servant, but this does not feel good. Oh well, nothing I can do about it. Make the item.'

<Creating a new item for Solaire's equipment. Thunder Titanite Ingots: price: 30,000.>

He used the souls Solaire gave him and created 6 of them and brought them out for the giant. Seeing the titanite that coursed with thunder made the giant look at them with even more joy.

He wanted to get to work and it was time for him to put his skill to work. Adrian removed his armor and good thing he had a leather outfit under this. He did not know what it was made of, but he thought it might be a demon.

"I want you to upgrade all of my armor to as high as you can with these ingots. My swords need Andre to do it as he knows them better than anyone."

The giant nodded as he had felt he could not do much to them. Plus it required the Dragon Forge deep underground and without the dragon to light it, it was useless. He started to process of infusing the ingots into the armor with care.

Each time the ingots were heated they would glow like stars and when he started to hammer them into the armor, it was like the armor devoured the magic within like a hungry demon.

After hours of work, each armor piece glowed pure white as the magic inside the ingots refined the metal. When the glow disappeared the pitch-black armor looked bright, new, and radiated a mighty aura.

Several engravings appeared on it with the particular Dragon Head on the shoulders and chest. It resonated with Adrian and he touched the crest on it. He placed it in his inventory to put it back on as he was interested in what it did.

When he placed the armor back on he felt like it was always part of him. It kind of was as it was made out of a part of his soul that made him pleased to wear it. He felt he could take on anything as he was now, but now he had someone to kill.

<Crest of the Fume Knights created. You are the Captain of the Fume Knights, a now extinct order. Make a new one from the worthy.>

-New mission: Kill Ornstein and use his head to create Alter to Khorne.

-Reward: Absolution of Blood Enemy Status, Blessing of Khorne, Favor of Khorne.

'Will it mess with my mind, I know what Chaos can do.'

<No. It will increase the host's power the more blood flows. Stronger the blood the stronger the power. Khorne cares not from where the blood flows, only that it flows.>

Adrian smiled as out of all the Chaos gods, he always found Khorne the most badass.

'I accept.'

He looked at Solaire and Seraphine who just got their armor boosted by the new ingots and they had to say it was perfect. Solaire felt his miracles become easier to use and he had no use for a talisman anymore.

His armor was his talisman and Seraphine felt her armor and shield not only become lighter, but it increased her strength. They were ready to take on Ornstein who Adrian no longer was going to torture.

That was just what Slaanesh would want and that guy could fuck himself. He would still not fall completely give in to the path of Khorne as they needed to kill to barely fall alive.

That was too much even to him as he wanted to keep his sanity. Still thinking of Slaanesh made him think of a gross thought.'

'He probably does fuck himself. Gross.'

"Ok, time to kill Ornstein the traitorous bastard."

Seraphine and Solaire were more than ready as their equipment was as good as it was going to get. They needed a stronger forge and better coals for more as Adrian had more expensive material than those ingots.

They descended toward the area where Ornstein was keeping guard along with Smough. First, they opened the gate that led to the chapel as it would be helpful later on.

Now Adrian smiled as he said his favorite line of Warhammer.

"Skulls for the Skull Throne, Blood for the blood god."

Solaire looked at him oddly as he heard the mantra or saying.

"What for who?"

"Oh, he is a god. A powerful one, but not of this world."

Seraphine and Solaire wanted to ask questions, but he shook his head.

"I will tell you all about him, but for now just know he is powerful. Very powerful."

Seraphine nodded.

"I want to know even more, but sure."

Solaire nodded but was not completely happy about it.

"I am a warrior of Sunlight, but this god sounds chaotic."

That made Adrian almost break out laughing as that was just who Khorne was. After killing the two giant guards they walked toward the boss gate and rented inside together.

When they entered Smough looked dead ahead at Adrian and recognized him at a glance. He remembered that battle as he feasted on the dead afterward. It was putting them to good use instead of rotting away.

Ornstein looked down at him with pure rage radiating from him.

"You. You scourge. I killed you myself, how are you alive? We do not become undead, we die when we are killed."

Adrian looked at the Dragonslayer but only saw the crowning piece for his alter.

"Maybe I am just unique. Come down and let us have a rematch. You don't have an army to fight me with like last time."

Ornstein jumped down and stood next to Smough.

"Maybe so, but I do not need them. Not anymore. I will make sure you stay dead this time."

Adrian and Ornstein stood apart without making a single movement as a single move could determine who lived and died. The giant spear was pointed forward while Adrian had his longsword extended and his greatsword on his shoulder.

The stalemate was broken by Smough who no longer cared about their squabble. He was not a knight and he did not fight like one. He rushed forward as fast at a speed unbecoming of his armor and bulk.

Solaire and Seraphine attacked him together while they left Ornstein and Adrian to their bad blood. Both of them flickered and disappeared. A giant clash shook the whole building as a greatsword and spear were locked.

Both of their eyes were locked and pure hatred was visible in them. They both stepped back slightly and now began to a flurry of blows. Every exchange was brutal and full of a desire to kill, but neither could get a good hit in.

While Ornstein stabbed out with his spear over and over again, Adrian slashed nack just as fast matching him. Both giant warriors finally began to draw blood as a sword swing cut through Ornstein's chest.

At the same time, a spear cut into Adrian's right arm where the wrist was. They did not just stay in one spot as they continued to try to trip the other with kicks and sweeps. Adrian was glad he had pumped his dexterity as him moving like this would not have been easy if he was only pumping strength.

Adrian's flaming swords clashed against Orsnstein's lighting spear and it resulted in a wall getting destroyed. The fight ended up being dragged outside the chapel. As for Smough, he was facing Solaire and Seraphine on his own well.

He was not just a big tub of lard as it turned out he was rather skilled with his hammer. Every time Solaire or Seraphine would attack he would somehow counter it, but it did not mean he was having it easy.

Both of them were hard to put down as when one needed healing the other would cover. Their strength was huge for the undead, but the miracles that rained down on him were doing their number.

Plus, his armor was not blocking the hits from either of them. Seraphine's giant blade would tear through his armor like butter and Solaire's shield seemed to be able to block his blows easily. Solaire was no chump in strength even though Seraphie focussed on it.

Finally, the balance tipped when Seraphine removed his right leg from his body so Solaire jumped up with a lightning-coated blade plunging it into the eyes of Smough killing the executioner.

Outside Adrian stopped dual wielding as this was the wrong enemy to use it against. Instead, he two-handed his longsword and he started to deflect the deadly blows of Ornstein.

Both of them circled the other as every breath was like two giant beasts with no respite.

"He still here you know?"

Adrian heard Orsntein speak up and it made him squint his eyes.

"Who?"

Ornstein was looking for an opening and any moment of hesitation would let him win this fight.

"Your second in command August, I torture him daily and he still refused to betray you. Won't unseal your bitch-"

Adrian ignored him and charged first as he saw everything move in slow motion. He raised his sword above his head with two hands and charged forward, but Ornstein was ready.

He and Ornstein looked at each other and got ready as for any opening. When they got one they both charged, but Adrian was not a normal person. He dropped his sword midswing and replaced it with a familiar sword.

The Wolf Knight Greatsword slashed through Ornstein's neck like butter. He had asked Sif to lend him the sword in case he needed it but he just got tired of Onrstein's crap.

Once Ornstein died he felt the powerful soul enter his body and he instinctively knew what to do. He held it in his hands and consumed it, gaining the power over lightning that Ornstein had. He picked up the head as he was ready to make the alter to Khorne.
