Anor Londo and Giant Slaughter

As Russ flew toward the home of the gods they were all kind of excited. The flight itself was ok as the saddle was made to cover up all the jagged spikes on his back. The closer they got to the home of the gods it made Adrian a little pissed as he thought of someone.

He was going to have to fight Ornstein and from his memory, they did not get along. He used to like Ornstein, but not anymore when he saw how much of a cunt he was. He also hoped his dragon from his memory was alive somewhere in the heart of Anor Londo as he knew how much Ornstein hated dragons.

'If you touched a single scale on her body I will introduce your face to your colon you ass.'

He also wondered what he had named her as knowing him it was going to be something awesome. He had so much to do as not only did he have this place to deal with he also needed to explore the DxD world when he got the chance,.

Still for now, that could wait as time here was faster than outside by 100. He had stuff to do in this world and it was fun to learn of his supposed past. He saw it as a scavenger hunt and he was gaining a lot out of it so that was all fine and good for him. As the giant drake flew toward the sun literally as it seemed the sun in this world was over Anor Londo thanks to the illusion.

He also wondered what his relationship was like with Gwyndolin as the weird trap was a guy, but had tits. It was the weirdest thing he had ever seen and he had seen weird things. Solaire tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention.

"So how much farther?"

Adrian shrugged.

"I am not sure, usually demons would take you there. Which reminds me we got so much to do here. I got some loose ends to tie up."

He sighed as this real-world was even harder than the game as here your spirit might break for real. If he died he would lose part of his memories and that was uncepatable. He had so many areas to complete, but he was going to do them all. He was a perfectionist and from the look of it, they were getting close.

Just 10 more minutes of fast Drake flying and they could already see the vast city in the distance. Solaire's eyes shined as he took in the view of the famous Anor Londo and old home to Gwyn and the gods.

Just seeing it in in-person instilled a deep sense of relief in him. Adrina laughed at him as he pointed at the sun.

"That is fake. It's an illusion. All to keep the illusion that the gods didn't abandon ship."

Solaire was shocked there was a literal fake sun in the sky, but they had arrived. Russ landed a small distance away from the main area as the Silver Knights would have fired at him if he got too close to the city.

Once they landed Adrian, Seraphine, Sif, and Solaire jumped from Drake's back to begin their descent through Anor Londo. Seeing it like this made Adrian remember a few tidbits of his 'life' here like the battles he fought for it.

It was nice to look at so it was time to conquer this place for old times' sake. Sif was the same as this used to be his home ages past. He had not seen in since he left with Artorias. Still, it seemed they were not welcomed any longer as the giant guards were already charging at them.

Unlike the game where is was only a few, it was many. Adrain decided to give it a try at least to see if he had any authority left over."

"Halt, I am Adrian Blake, Captain of the Fume Knight Order. I come with Sif, of Knight Arotrias. Let us pass."

The giants stopped and looked at each other without speaking. They also saw Sif who was the companion of Artorias a knight of Gwyn, but it changed nothing. They had their orders and even Sif was not welcome no more.

The Fume Knights were a thing of the past so they continued forward. Seeing they did not plan to stop made Adrain smile.

"Time for a giant hunt. Let's try not to die."

He and Sif drew their swords even though the giant wolf was disappointed in this. He was close to Gough, but if they planned to kill them it was only fair they retaliated. They both charged forward and attacked the giants first.

In one swing Adrian removed the head of one causing it to fall to the ground dead. Sif was no different as he returned to his true size as he slashed off heads of three giants. Solaire and Seraphine did not stay back as they also went forward to fight the giants.

It was easy at first as they got the drop on them, but now it turned to a real bloodbath. It took every ounce of skill and will power to take on a army of giants with only 6 fights, but they were not quitting.

Unlike the game, this was not a level-based thing and now they had swarms of giants going toward them. It was a fight to the death as more and more from the whole city came forward.

The alarm was sounded and it meant they would have to be careful as a swarm of weak enemies could end a strong one. In this case a swarm of strong enemies. He looked at Solaire and Seraphine and sighed.

"Guess I was betrayed. Even they don't respect me anymore or Sif."

Solaire coated his sword in lightning and threw a lightning bolt at the face of giant frying it dead.

"Well let's put them in their place or die trying."

Seraphine grabbed her greatsword as she agreed.

"Fine, more souls for us. If we die we try again."

Sif howled in agreement, but the good thing was they had air support from Russ who would rain down Dragonfire on the swarm of giants which was helpful. Adrian felt his body move on its own as his blades moved like a blender.

A giant swung a giant club on him, but he blocked with his greatsword before kicking the giant in the crotch. It dropped its weapons and in that instant he decapitated it. They kept getting streams of souls which was all they wanted.

It did not mean they were not getting hurt as currently Adrian had about 10 spears in his body and many broken bones.

"NOT ENOUGH! MORE!"

He flexed his muscles forcing the spears out as he for the first time drank Estus. He felt the warm feeling of fire fill his body as he was back to full health again after drinking 3 of his 5. Seraphine swung her sword into the leg of the giant cutting it off at the knee before stabing it in the chest.

She too was injured as she had a broken arm which she healed with more estus.

"This is going to suck, they are just going to return when we rest at a Bonefire."

Adrian looked at the 50 giants and more that were still coming from around the entire city.

"Well, we got a good place for souls. Let's thank our curse for the power that is being offered to us on a platter. Do not die now, or loose your souls."

"PRAISE THE SUN!"

Everyone looked at Solaire funny as it was the very sun that had caused this mess.

"Sorry."

Sif nudged him to not apologize, but to kill more giants. He charged forward and used his gigantic blade for what it was made for. To kill and to kill and do it well. Even though Sif did not use souls like an undead or Adrian he still ate souls for power.

None of their small party was scared as they were pretty much immortal safe for Sif and Russ, but they were fine as well. They roared and got right into glorious melee. Even though getting hurt sucked, that was what Estus was for.

After three hours every giant was dead as Adrian drove his giant blade into the chest of a giant. He looked around at the slaughter of giants and he heard a joke from Solaire.

Adrian was missing an arm and a eye as it got smashed to past by a giant club, but Solaire was just as hurt.

"Captain of the Fume Knights, Dragon Tamer, Bane of Giants. It hurts to talk."

All the ribs on his right side were shatered and he was missing a few fingers. As for Seraphine, she was lucky to be alive as she too a kick to the chest. It was a miracle she was wearing Heavy Armor. Estus brought her back from the brink of death.

<Host has killed 220 giants. Souls earned: 300,000 souls.>

They all felt the vast stream of souls and they all looked at each other with smiles. All at once, they thought the same thing.

'We are going to do this over and over until we drop.'

The first thing first was to take the loot so they stored everything in their inventories. After storing the 220 bodies of the giants for later it was time to go to a Bonefire. After they finished with their small massacre of giants they followed Adrian with more care now.

The giants were just one of the threats here as they also had the silver knights to deal with. Their numbers were massive, unlike the game where there were only a few. This was real and they were an army.

Even Adrian was not confident in fighting that many silver knights as the giants were easier. They all had 300,000 new souls and they did not want to lose them. This was theirs to keep and they would guard it with their unlives.

When they entered the location of Darkmoon Knightest she glanced at Seraphine and Adrian with a bit of admiration. Not just anyone could slaughter their way through the giants as they had.

Even more to tame a giant Wolf or Drake-like they had which was all but unheard of..

"Well, you are rare. Welcome to the lost city of Anor Londo, chosen Undead and company. I watched your small slaughter and it was something to view. Now, if you seek Lord Gwyn's old keep, exit here and head straight yonder. If you are the chosen one, a revelation shall visit thee. ...What follows thereafter, depends upon you..."

Adrina sighed as he hated riddles. She seemed to not know anything about him so it made sense for her not to care.

"Thank you for the advice."

They walked toward the Bonefire and started to level up and rest. These souls were useful and they would use them all for now. When they were stronger this place would be all the easier. When he looked at his amount he realized it was still lacking.

Good thing he was healed complelty and his repaired with the repair kit at the price of souls.

<Soul Count: 370,983 Levels available: 34>

'Wow, it seems like a lot, but I need way more. Like 2 billion souls. For now, I want 20 in strength, 10 in Dexterity, and 2 in Endurance.'

Soul Level: 25 (He has leveled up 25 times.)

-Vitality: 30

-Attunement: 20

-Endurance: 25(27)

-Strength: 30(50)

-Dexterity: 30(40)

-Resistance: 25

-Intelligence: 20

-Faith: 20

When he hit the confirm he felt the vast quantity of souls be devoured and this was the biggest jump he felt. Every single one of his muscles was on fire as they became stronger, more durable, and better in every way.

Plus his bones got denser, but his dexterity kept it even so he could move normally. Seraphine and Solaire both felt the same euphoria of devouring giant quantities of souls which made them want more.

Seraphine focused on strength, dexterity, and stamina, while Solaire put some into faith, strength, and dexterity. Now, the Greatsword felt light in her hands which was something she was glad for.

Now she could truly wield it like it should have been used. She lifted it with one hand and looked at in admiration. They looked at each other and they knew that they would have to do it all over again.

Time was on a loop and it meant that the giants would be back when they went out. They looked at each other and sighed. He looked at his 4 partners and smiled as they were back to full health.

"Do over?"

Solaire and Seraphine raised their weapons and were more than happy to do it. Souls were souls, and they wanted a lot of them. Second time would be easier than the first time. He had to get to max soul level to prepare for the next world.

Even if it takes a few months of time to farm, he had over 100,000 years in here till the present day if he never left. More than enough time, but he would go out for the first time soon.

'System, does the word here freeze when i go out?'

<Yes.>

'Can I bring people out with me?'

<Yes.>

'Perfect.'

Never mind, it will actually take over 2 billion souls to get to max soul level. Teehee. Meaning he would have to run the Giants 6,600 times. Well, time to work hard.
