53 11 months of Preparations.

When Adrian exited his tower he was beyond annoyed. He understood why he was given the extra hard version, as his rewards, in the long run, would be better for it. At the same time, it was like treasure was beyond an indestructible wall only a molecule wide.

He looked at Amara whose arm was already beginning to heal with some difficulty. Rexam's ability seemed to have 'broken' her healing for a while as she was struggling to heal right. Scorn and Devestator were on either side of her as they tried to keep her steady.

"How do you feel?"

She glanced at him as she thought about it.

'I feel, happy, excited, and fulfilled.'

"Well, that is good."

Adrian waved his hand as the demon army under Rexam all appeared in front of him. The 40,000 demons looked at the purple sky which was different from the blood-red they had seen for the last years.

The 6 super-class demons looked at the sky with both bitter and hopeful looks. Adrian looked at them all as he used some magic to boost his voice so the whole army could hear him.

"You have all been taken from your homeworld so this world must be another change. Your king and I have come to a deal. He faced my strongest dragon in single combat and he lost. His body and soul are mostly intact so he will rise far stronger than before.

I want to know more. How long were you in that tower and why?"

The daughter of Rexam stepped forward ass he kneeled in front of Adrian.

"My name is Aurelia. I can answer the questions you have your majesty. Your answer is that we were in that tower for 100 years. Of course, the tower itself is only a year old at most, but the time runs faster inside of it."

"Aurelia, what world were you from? How did you get sucked into it?"

She frowned as she tried to remember.

"We were on a war campaign against the elves as we demons do. We were across from them in the field of battle, but the battle never came. A flash of darkness covered every single one of us and threw us into the second floor of that tower.

The time formations are placed on the tower for your convenience trapped us there for 100 years. An insignificant amount of time for us demons, but it does not the fact. I hope this answers your questions."

"One more question. The Zombie King, why did he have the body of a Purple Worm and a Tarasque? How?"

Aurelia was not surprised about that.

"You may not know this, but at one point the Zombie King was not the king. He was the son of the true Undead King who was a foe who could stand equal to Lord Rexam my father. The tarrasque that you now possess was killed by the Undead King.

He kept its body and soul in hopes that it would one day become the shield of his kingdom. Only that he fell in battle to Lord Rexam in a great battle that lasted 30 minutes. My father described the battle as lasting days in his perception so I wonder how long the battle with your dragon was in their respective."

Amara laid down outside of Anor Londo as her two adopted sons laid her down.

'I think the battle lasted for what felt like a whole day for me. He was more than strong.'

Adrian sighed as he walked toward Anor Londo.

"Well, welcome to my Kingdom. It is only a start, but I plan to expand. You all came at a good time I guess. You will be treated with the dignity of a loyal soldier. I don't know when your king shall return to you, but it should be within the year."

No one cheered as they were still slaves as they pledged on their souls. Adrian did not want a bunch of mindless zombies as even his Abyss Knights were not mindless. They just did not talk.

Adrian walked toward the gates of Anor Londo that opened up on his command. He needed a lot of prep work to get ready. First, he had to focus on finishing his legion of Demons.

---

Adrian spent a considerable amount of time going over the bodies he had access to. He first used the stuffed griffons and many giant bodies for the raw material to bring both creatures back into the flesh.

Instead, he used his Abyss Fire to gather the residual soul energy of both creatures that died with great hatred before death. He recreated their souls from the embers, but they were more like machines with limited thoughts.

It would be up to both creates to return to their former glory. As for the dragon bodies that he gained he had a Red Dragon that was still in great condition. On its own, it was already a perfect find, but he had an interesting idea.

He wondered what would happen if he used the body of the Tarrasque and fused it into the Red Dragon. That by itself brought issues as Tassaques were calamities. In DnD there was only one, but the one Adrian had on hand was just as deadly.

His experiments showed that Abyss Fire did not count as magic so it could work, but he only had one chance. He left that project on his backline until he was more confident of 100% success. Instead, he focused on making Abyss Knights and Abyss Zombies.

The Zombie King's body was obliterated but his generals were not. Adrian turned them into Abyss Demons, but he called them Abyss Zombies. It was much easier than making a Tarrasque Red Dragon hybrid.

As for the rest of his group they passed the 5th floor but did not go further. From what they said they just faced a large gathering of the types of foes he faced. The first one was just zombies, but no Zombie King. The second floor was full of demons as well, but nowhere near the 40,000 that Adrian acquired. The 3rd floor was missing the Vampire that Aurelia spoke about, but it did contain vampires themselves.

The 4th floor was full of Elves meaning Adrian would be forced to fight an Elf king or something. The 5th was full of Dark Elves who were described as skilled mages and warriors. Many times they almost died on that floor, meaning Adrian had a Dark Elf king to deal with.

When they emerged from the tower they all seemed stronger, but Seraphine was followed by a small group of 100 Zombies They had submitted to her after the battle and she took them as her own troops

When they saw Amara's broken arm they wondered if the tower was a reward or punishment. She was the defacto strongest of them and she had been damaged to the point she broke an arm.

When he explained what he saw on the first and second floors they were curious about the deeper meaning of the tower. Following their exit, Adrian ordered most of his Dark Souls troops to take on the tower. Many died truly and it became known that those who survived came out stronger for it while those who died did not come back.

While resurrection was possible if they were killed enough times that would not matter. As for the 40,000 demons that Adrian gained joined Anor Londo and quickly shared their knowledge. Their unique magic served to bolster the level of mages and caused even more changes to Anor Londo.

In those 12 months, Adrian pushed himself to the limit in training and sparring with his new Super Class demons. Amara healed by then and all of his dragons went into hibernation and woke up better than before. He finished devouring the Zombie King's soul and brought back the purple worm.

The creature stayed in his shadow most of the time, but he let it go out to burrow away from Anor Londo to do some surveillance underground. Already it found several magical mines that were being harvested as they spoke.

When 11 months came Adrian had completed 2 Legions of Abyss Demons. Each Legion had 5,000 members and several elites. He awakened all of the Heldrakes and Maulerfiends and handed them over to his Legions to manage after he bound them.

Adrian now stood in front of the large body of Rexam which had not decayed in the least. His arm had been reduced to meat paste, but Adrian collected most of the fragments that he could. Aurelia and the 5 Super Class Demons stood with Adrian as they watched him bring back their king.

"Well, here goes."

Adrian pulled out the soul of Rexam which looked different from the Zombie King. Instead of being large was extremely dense. It was only as big as Adrian's palm, but it felt impossibly heavy. Adrian thought he was holding a stone as it was hyper condensed ball of soul energy.

"Now this is quality. His soul has given up magic, so instead of gaining size, it condensed. By Death, how much I would grow from eating this."

Aurelia shivered when she heard that. She looked at her father's soul and felt fear for what he would do. Abyss Fire appeared over the soul stone which is what Adrian was going to call it. He extended his hand toward the body and started the process of what he did to Moxarua and Theresia.

"In the long run, he would bring more benefits then simply eating his soul."

They watched as Rexam's grey skin darkened from pale grey to dark grey. His arm recovered while Adrian fixed his internal organs that had been destroyed. Sweat fell from his face as the quality of Rexam's body was immaculate.

He was taking Amara's mana as this required a massive power source on the same level. Adrian kept the flames active at full power for 10 hours straight until both the soul and body had been converted to living Abyss Demon.

Moxaura and Theresia watched with interest as Adrian shoved the soul back into Rexam's body.

"Wake up."

Aurelia and the 5 demons watched the body of their king with hope as his eyes opened. They were purple from his normal yellow, but besides that, he seemed the same demon only wiht dark grey skin. He took a deep breath as he sat up.

"You crazy geezer. You actually did it."

Adrian was confused.

"Geezer?"

Rexam scoffed as he stood up and dusted himself off.

"Your soul might be black as the night, but it feels like the soul of an old geezer. Where is Amara?"

"Here."

He turned around and looked up toward the giant towering dragon that had gotten even stronger. She had been sparring with Adrian to help him get stronger, but she needed an actual threat.

"There you are. Ready for another scrap."

Aurelia who was his daughter had been ignored. He had not even given her a glance as he was not a good father. Amara scoffed.

"Later."

Adrian cleared his voice as he had things to do.

"You and I can fight later Rexam. The first thing to do is get ready to fight a war."

That got Rexam's attention.

"Against who?"

Adrian grinned.

"The world."

Rexam's eyes glowed as he said the same thing when he tried to conquer the world.

"THAT IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!"

His aura shot into the air with full force which Amara helped to retrain. Adrian did not even bother with it as he did not care. He had something to do as it was time to get ready for war. The first thing was he wanted to see how much loyalty the Devil clans had to Lucifer.

"Lathia, come here."

The devil flew toward Adrian the moment he called.

"How can I help?"

"You will be my guide in the Devil's territory. I will talk to the head of the Vassago clan. I will offer him the chance to submit and join us, but if he does not he will get war."

Lathia nodded.

"I got it. Who will you bring?"

Adrian pointed at his shadow.

"My legions. Now, Amara. You have been learning under Logan and Viron the best mage among the Demons. Can you shapeshift?"

Everyone glanced at the giant dragon who closed her eyes. Her body glowed dark grey as she took her ability to the extremes. In a flash, her draconic body vanished. When the smoke cleared Adrian felt it matched her well.

Her skin was the same color as her scales and her eyes were bright white. Her horns curved upwards instead of outwards like in her dragon form.

(Image here.)

Her hair was white and a thick dragon tail waved behind her. She popped her neck as this felt weird.

"How do I look?"

Rexam tilted his head as he was about to give his opinion. Just as he opened his mouth she turned to Adrian.

"Is it to your like master?"

Adrian nodded.

"Of course. It's just as I imagined as your skin is the same as your scales. How strong are you like this?"

Amara clenched her hands to see.

"80% as strong."

Adrian felt that was good enough.

"Alright them, Amara, Lathia, Rexam, come on then."

Rexam was curious about this world.

"Well then Soul Lord, let's explore this weird world."

Before Adrian could say something, Aurelia got Rexam's attention.

"DAD!"

He glanced at Aurelia and thought about it carefully.

"Who are you?"

For the first time Amara, Adrian and her 5 subordinates had never felt more pity for anyone. The silent tears that she cried as they traveled toward the Devil territory made Adrian pat her shoulder in pity.

That made her cry real tears which made Rexam feel he took his joke too far. He was too embarrassed to not take it back.

It made the rest of the trip awkward as he kept trying to get his daughter to not hate him. Adrian had only one thought about that as they rose on the two Griffons.

'I never want kids.'
