2 New family

The fresh mother-daughter pair were finally out the hospital. Wang Yiling recognized the man who was her new father. A tall handsome man, marked by the time but remained attractive through his life. She was not surprised that this man married a beauty like Wang Anling.

She waved her hand to the man who walk towards them. He simply smiled before hugging Wang Yiling who was almost suffocating in his big arms.

"Hi there, I'm your father Wang Huo." He smiled and scratched his head as Wang Yiling stared at him "You okay kiddo?"

To Wang Yiling, something was wrong. Now that she pictured the couple, she weirdly look like them. She never looked like her father and she never met her mother. All these thoughts were interrupted by clap of hand coming from Wang Anling.

"Dear, why are you spacing out like this?"

Wang Yiling put a fake smiled on her face before answering "I'm just happy to meet my father" She looked at Wang Huo with a smile "And I'm maybe a little bit tired."

Wang Huo patted her head affectionately. "You can rest in the car, kid. The travel will be long anyway."

Wang Yiling nodded and with her new family, she jumped in the car. As the time passed, Wang Yiling pretended to be asleep to hear their conversation.

Wang Anling glance quickly at her adoptive daughter before turning to her husband. "Huo, are you sure that your father will accept her?"

Wang Huo sighed and rolled his eyes "Like I said a thousand times Anling, I already talk to Father. He just wants to test her abilities with the family life. He wants to see if she will let herself be bully."

"So soon? She just got off the hospital, she must be tired."

"And that's why she is sleeping right now Anling. You should stop being so worried, I'm sure she'll do alright."

Wang Anling turned her head over the window and stared outside "I hope so."

On the back seat, Wang Yiling smiled. In the past, she would have let herself be bullied but she was a different woman now. She's may be only 18 but she's not dumb at all.

The car entered in a dense garden full of flowers and trees. Wang Yiling stared amazed at this magnificent view. Soon, they parked the car near a luxurious big house.

"Here we are, dear. Watch your steps okay?"

Wang Yiling nodded and got of the car followed by Wang Huo and Wang Anling. She walk carefully towards the huge door that lead to her new family. Knowing that she will be test, Wang Yiling won't let anyone bully her.

As she pushed the doors, a bright light escaped from it. Wang Yiling closed her eyes since the light was so dazzling. She opened them to find an old man with a cane in a hand. He had small eyes who made him look mean and his bushy eyebrows covered his eyes. Still, with his hair plated back, he looked good for an old man. Behind him, there were four other persons.

Wang Yiling forced a smile and bowed to what seemed to be the rest of the family. "Hello, I'm called Wang Yiling. I'm happy meeting you all."

A girl that seemed to have her age sneered "Wang, you're not part of our family. An outsider will never be part of our family."

Grandfather Wang wanted to see how Wang Yiling would react. He had expected her too cry or to say nothing but she only grinned.

"I don't think you're the one who's going to make this decision Miss Wang. Plus, I am part of this family even if you don't want to. The adoption papers are in the back of the car. Feel please to check them if you have any doubt."

Wang Yiling made sure to stay polite towards this girl but she could see that had angered her. The next thing, she heard was a laugh coming from a boy behing her. The boy looked like the girl but a bit older, Wang Yiling guessed 21 years old.

"Ming, you've been roasted by our new comer. She was quite polite though." The good looking boy turned to her "You can put her at her place anytime you want. Yiling right?"

Wang Yiling nodded and smiled to him. She then excused herself and went searching the bags that were in the car.

When she came back, she found Grandfather Wang waiting for her. She smiled to him. "May I do something for you umm... Mister Wang?"

Grandfather Wang raised an eyebrow. "Now my own granddaughter call me Mister Wang??"

Wang Yiling giggled "Grandfather, you are so nice. I'm happy that you have accepted me. I won't bring any trouble to the Wang family I swear."
