2 Relief!?

She stood staring at a brown door with a silver knob which was very high for her to reach with her small hands. So she just waited for her new mom, Nancy, to open the door.

Nancy took out the key from her purse and opened the door.

Nancy's house was a simple middle class house, neither too extravagant nor too poor. There was a dining table with three chairs, in the corner of the living room. The living room was not furnished with too much furniture it had a simple kitchen and a sofa, with a TV on the wall facing the sofa. Straight from the living room were two rooms opposite to each other.

Nancy welcomed Kaira in her home.

Nancy : "Be comfortable on the sofa, I will bring you something to eat. You must be hungry. " Kaira sat down with hesitation.

Kaira: "Thank you". Nancy brought her some food and watched Kaira as she was timidly eating it.

After eating.

Nancy : "Go take a shower, I will prepare something for you to wear." Nancy then showed her the directions to the washroom.

Nancy knocked on the washroom door and said "I am leaving your clothes on the bed."

After 10 minutes, Kaira came out wearing a pretty purple frock.

Nancy : "It fits you perfectly as I thought, I knew you were very pretty."

Nancy patting the space beside her, indicating Kaira to sit there. Kaira sat beside her.

Nancy took Kaira's hand in her hand's, this made Kaira feel a sense of protection she felt before with her parents.

Nancy : " I know that it is still difficult for you to open up to me since you don't know me, but feel relieved I don't mean any harm to you. You can take your time to open up to me, I will wait for that day. I just want to let you know that you are just like my daughter and I will always protect and love you. "

Kaira:" Thank you very much for understanding me, I will make sure that I also love you for being my mother. For taking a unknown child as your daughter takes a lot of courage, I will make sure to not disappoint you. Thank you... Thank.... You. " saying this, she burst into tears that she held from the last scary night.

She cried for at least one hour in Nancy's lap.

Nancy:" Stop crying now you have me. Seeing you crying, I also feel like crying, will u make your mom cry? "

Kaira then with a determination in her mind that she will never cry again.

Kaira : "Mom, from today onwards I will never cry." Nancy felt a sense of love and a feeling to protect this little girl in her lap, as she heard the word MOM.

Nancy had no words left to speak as she felt sorry for this little girl who became mature before her age.

Just as all of this was sort out, Kaira was taking a look around the house, when the bell rang.

Nancy opened the door and welcomed the person on the door.

It was actually not a person just another little boy like Kaira maybe one or two years older than her.

Nancy: "Kaira meet my son, Adam."

"Adam this Kaira."
