1 Like a ANGEL!

The little foot steps wondered on streets under the heat of the scorching sun. The helplessness in this little child's eyes was clearly being reflected. The little girl had a beautiful and cute face with a pair of most attractive eyes, she was fair but was now covered in dirt and ragged clothes.

She looked at the people on the street, who called themselves adult but just ignored the little girl's prayer. She could feel the hatred in her grow towards the word called 'adult'.

She came across a ground and sat there losing the last ray of hope she had. Just as she was losing all her hope from this world, suddenly came a voice.

A sweet voice called out her saying "Sweet little angel, what are you doing here? Did something happen?" the warmth in the voice reached out to the girl as she looked up. At first she could not see that lady because of the sun but as she leaned in, she saw a beautiful lady with a pair of very beautiful eyes.

The lady said " Hi ! My name is Nancy Xi, you can call me Nan. What is your sweet name?"

"My name is Kaira" said the girl a little scared at first but then giving in to the warm embrace.

Nancy : "Why are you sitting here Kaira? Where are your parents?"

Kaira : "My parents are no more in this world"

Nancy felt pain for this little girl and for knowing such a painful truth in such a small age.

"Why don't you come with me, to my house?" suggested Nancy.

"By the way what is your age?"

Kaira: " I am seven years old."

Nancy : "You are the same age as my son. Will you come with me?"

Kaira felt her warm embrace and felt a sense that she is a good lady so she said "Yes. "

That day the hand that held Kaira was LIKE A ANGEL IN DISGUISE.
