Firstly, the main reason why Yang Tian had created such a torturous routine for himself was to break through to the 3rd Stage of the 'Great Way of the Buddha.'

Considering that he had slaughtered an average of 630 beasts every day. In the time of one and a half month, Yang Tian had already killed 38000 or so beasts.

Yang Tian looked at Chu Yuechan and replied to her after some time, "Just like them, I possess the Phoenix Flames as well. However, unlike the members of the Divine Phoenix Sect, I posses the origin phoenix flames that were personally granted by the Primordial Phoenix Spirit."

"So, it isn't related to the Divine Phoenix Empire?" She received a clear nod from Yang Tian. After some time, she added, "You shouldn't use it in front of anyone else… If the Divine Phoenix Empire comes to know that someone who is not of their bloodline is using the Phoenix Flames, they won't let you go."

"Is that so?" A cold smirk appeared on Yang Tian's face as he said, "You aren't wrong about this… But by the time they know of this, I will be able to deal with them."

"I see…" Chu Yuechan gave a neutral reply. In reality, she didn't know what she should say.

On the one hand, she was aware of how frightening the Divine Phoenix Empire was. And on the other hand, she felt that Yang Tian wasn't the least bit less terrifying than the Divine Phoenix Empire.
