Destruction of the Divine Phoenix Empire

Yang Tian had gone to Phoenix Perching Valley after having exposed the fact that the Phoenix Spirit was dead to the entire world.

Feng Xue'er was still in her deep sleep since the process of awakening her Phoenix Soul had accelerated.

Yang Tian picked her up and took her out of the Phoenix Perching Valley. He had an array prepared for this which would hide her from the world and also accelerate the absorption of energy so that she could break through quickly.

Once she wakes up, he would receive a Spiritual Signal from the array, and he would be aware of this fact.

After placing her in that array, he returned back to his house.

He was having his lunch, made by Cang Yue. Chu Yuechan was outside right now, training her Frozen Cloud Arts…

Yang Tian spoke up, "Yue'er… I found the ones who killed your father."

Cang Yue immediately stopped eating and stared in his direction, "Who was it, brother Tian?!"

"The Divine Phoenix Empire… it appeared that they were preparing to attack the Blue Wind Empire for some reason." This response surprised Cang Yue, who stood up with some anger in his eyes.

"Divine Phoenix Empire?!"

"You don't need to do anything now…Today, when I went to the Divine Phoenix City, I heard that the Phoenix God Spirit was dead…" Yang Tian continued to give her a brief summary of what had happened.

"Someone attacked the Divine Phoenix Empire and dispersed the Phoenix God Spirit?!" Cang Yue was utterly shocked as she heard this.

"Yes. So, you don't have to do anything. The Sacred Lands will probably be on their way to the Divine Phoenix City very soon… The entire Divine Phoenix Empire is going to become rubble." Yang Tian informed her with a hint of a smirk.

"W-What do we do then? If we stay here… We could be caught up in all this!" Cang Yue spoke out, a little scared while somewhat happy that the Divine Phoenix Empire was going to be destroyed.

"You don't need to worry about that. I will deal with any flies who dare to enter our territory." Yang Tian said while patting Cang Yue's head.

With the strength he had right now, he did not fear anyone on the Profound Sky Continent.

A few hours later, Yang Tian met up with Yun Canghai.

"Old man, you want to take some revenge?" Yang Tian asked Yun Canghai with a smirk on his face.

"Hmm?" Yun Canghai raised his head in confusion. Revenge… Did he mean against the Mighty Heaven Sword Region?

"Against the Mighty Heaven Sword Region…" Yang Tian stared at Yun Canghai, wondering what his reaction would be. He could anticipate the reaction actually… But not what sort of expression would be on Yun Canghai's face.

And indeed… it didn't disappoint him.

Yun Canghai's face morphed into a scowl as he angrily growled, "Those… Shitty… Bastards…! I will cut off every last one of them!"

"Hmm… I don't exactly hate that thought. However, wait for my signal… Because if you go and fight against the Mighty Heaven Sword Region on your own, you will be slaughtered." Yang Tian gravely warned Yun Canghai…

Yun Canghai's presence would still be somewhat useful in the future. It would be a pity if this toy broke before he had fully extracted all the benefits he could from this man.

"Alright… What do you plan to do, though? Use that mysterious Ice Flame?" Yun Canghai asked, a little curious.

He had seen the power of the Ice Flame. It was strong enough to shatter the formation which could suppress him…

Yang Tian mysteriously smiled as he said, "You will know when the time comes. I guess I will need one whole day to prepare for this."

"What are you going to do?" Yun Canghai did ask this question, but in response, he only received a chilly smile.

Yang Tian left the area soon enough… It was time to get one of the final things he could receive from this Profound Sky Continent.

After that, he could just focus on getting to the Sovereign Profound Realm.

Meanwhile, inside the Divine Phoenix Sect, a very anxious Feng Hengkong could be seen. He was not only worried about the survival of the Divine Phoenix Sect, but more worried about his daughter, who had inherited the power of the Phoenix God Spirit. Strangely enough, he couldn't find a trace of his daughter in the Phoenix Perching Valley

This worried him more than anything… Where did she run off to? She had never left the Phoenix Perching Valley…

This sort of information was not something he could even reveal in the Divine Phoenix Sect. Panic was the last thing that they needed right now…

But still… This was an extremely grave situation…Feng Hengkong was extremely confused about what he should do. Should he try and search the area by himself? Letting others know of it would just be a disaster…

With these thoughts, Feng Hengkong spent a long time looking for Feng Xue'er but found no trace of her. Very depressed… Feng Hengkong returned back to his palace, preparing for the massive war against the Mighty Heaven Sword Region which was making its way towards the Divine Phoenix City.
