26 After them Pt.1(updated better copy)

Treya wanted to leave days ago. She had started to get really frustrated but then she reminded herself that she had to be well prepared to catch the witches. She packed maps, food, and water, rope, and some weapons. She was having trouble finding something to dull the witches power. Unless she could slit their throats while they were sleeping she could not defeat this particular form of enemy. She wasn't sure this would break the spell the witches had caste over her brothers so she needed them alive for now. Treya made her way to the room which stored relics and artifacts within the castle. She was looking for a golden tear that belonged to a god. Illudriad's tear. She read god relic's could dull powers. She could not find it and she was pissed.

'F***** tear'. She was about to find the maid that dusted the room in order to stab her when she suddenly felt her oldest brother's presence within the castle. Her eyes watered a little before she composed herself. She was happy he was safe but she was still so hurt by his reaction toward her. Treya was also worried by his demon transformation. Her brother's sudden presence gave Treya an idea. She hurried to the dungeon with glass vials in hand. She scraped samples from the walls and floors then left the castle grounds to test her theory. One by one she tested each vial to see if they would dull her power. She secured the three vials which dulled her powers the most a string and hurried to pack them away with the rest of her supplies. She was fully prepared and running out of time. She told her trusted soldier Mezo it was time to take off. She didn't need Lanthier in her way and hoped he wouldn't follow she had a job to do.

Both brothers felt their young sister leaving the castle at the same time. Lanthier already worn out and reaking of the blood and sweat called for his steed to be made ready. He was just updating Damos of the story Frid had told him. He had left the old mans house two days ago ready to embrace the witch who would soon be his wife only to find she'd taken off, abandoned him. Talking about her clawed at him but he had to make plans with his brother to get what was his back. He could feel his evil festering. He wasn't even sure how it had calmed down enough to allow him to return to his more human like form.

To his surprise Damos the more diplomatic brother did not argue with his plans which might cause a war between Dradien and a powerful enemy. Now he had another problem, his sister had left the castle, no doubt to capture the fugitives and who knew what Treya might do. He couldn't think of that, he could feel the horns itching at his forehead to grow and reshape him into a monster. He had to leave, he had to focus. He had to reach Mira first. He would enslave the girl, she belonged to him. She was foolish to run away. He calmed his anger by picturing her safe and sound locked away in the dungeons.

"Brother." Lanthier was annoyed with his brother's interruption from his thoughts as he made his way to the stables.

"If I was not needed to oversee Dradien I would accompany you brother." Lanthier was confused for a moment. Why did his brother sound sad. He looked into his brother's eyes for the first time that day and noticed they were mostly red. "Lanthier bring back the other prisoner, bring her back unharmed." Damos said this forcefully, it almost seemed to slither out of his mouth, like the evil within was talking to the king.

"Ah." It clicked. The king did not take orders from his younger siblings but he let it slide this once, understanding completely what his little brother was feeling. "Yes brother." He answered back mechanically, not the slightest bit annoyed that his brother had given him an order.
