Chapter 5: The uglier it gets

Next morning Josh wakes up all grumpy and frustrated at early morning of five, still angry on his friend for not helping him but right now it was not the time to focus upon and he had better things to do. He got up from his bed fixing his hair and went to the bathroom to get fresh. He later polished his sword though he kept it a secret, he later went for a jog early morning through the city while everyone were still sleeping as he had got used to his master's teachings and went to the same old building where he began his training and practiced there for a while as he had holiday at his college.

Meanwhile at Austin's place....

Austin muttering to himself, "That fool Josh, he is taking a big risk without even thinking about his family, I wish I had idea the idea that he would do something like this, some friend I am" Austin sighed and got up. Unlike Josh, he had a habit of getting up early as he believes it's good for the body, mind and soul. As he had holiday at college he decided to do some sneak peek on some people's computer as he does anyways but for a short time only but today he had a lot of time to kill and his parents were still sleeping. Austin's room was like any geeky nerd, posters of video games, actions figures, comic books and what not could found at his room. He got fresh and opened his laptop and started his adventure of hacking. He hacked and into the local network and located computers that were active in 50m of range. There were not so many as it was still early morning and the ones he hacked didn't contained much interesting stuff so he increased the local radius to whole city and there were only 6 active PC. He opened the first one which was of a police officer, he started reading the case files of different criminals that were inside his computer but he soon got bored and checked some other computers and only to find uninteresting stuff so he decided to close it just right then one more computer popped and he opened it. At first glance it was like any other normal computer, as he was scrolling down the files he found a locked file which caught his attention, he opened it only to find that it was password protected, so he tried brute forcing his way in but it was proved fruitless so he thought of cracking the password. With some applications and his good hacking techniques he finally cracked the file but it only had two things, both of them were in notepad format. He opened the first file, it had a link to a website, he copied the link and the second one had a password, it was "Alpha omega_237". He opened chrome and opened the link, a black screen appeared with a log in and password. The log in was already filled and he typed the password. After what he saw took the life out of his soul and after he continued to explore he began sweating and sweating and that's when he realised, "Holy shit, I was fool myself and all of this was happening right under our nose and no one never realised it, Josh can't do this all by himself and I was letting him enter this hellhole without any support, MAN!!!!!!". He quickly took his laptop and ran straight out of his house towards Josh's house.

He knocked the front door rapidly and Josh's mother opens the door, "Hey Austin, funny for you to come by, and why are you sweating this much and you looked scared, anything happened?"

"Hello Mrs Anderson, look I am in lot of hurry, is Josh around I need to talk to him it's very urgent" Josh comes back from behind after his training and puts his arm on his shoulder. He gets frightened and shouts, "Don't scare me like that idiot"

"What happened, you look very scared"

"Please listen to me it's very urgent and you need to hear it"

"But made you change your mind"

"Just come, PLEASE!!!!"

Both of them go inside his room and Austin locks the room from behind and takes his laptop out. "Listen I am very sorry but I should have noticed and supported you, I am fool, I am very sorry!!!" Austin begins to cry, Josh comforts him and politely says, "Its ok, I know you got scared and it's normal, please don't cry and what is it that you have to show" Austin gets hold of himself and then opens the same site and starts explaining him. "So this morning I was hacking into the computers to find something interesting and that's when I stumbled upon this computer, it had a locked file. I cracked it open which led me to another website. When I opened it the title read, "Kara secret operations."

"What!!!!"

"It had many operations which were already conducted like Operation: Black hand, which…"

"I know about the massacre, I had seen the whole thing live on TV"

"Then Operation: Famine which led to the rising food prices and then there was the Operation: DR Poison which also had caused lots of deaths of the Vegas officials when they poisoned the water.

"So, what's your point?"

"My point is that these all things are happening before our birth and it's still happening but these are only activities of the outer Kara, the inner Kara is much more horrifying then this."

"THERE Is an InnEr KARa!!!!!?"

"Yes, it's being operated by the leader, Black skull himself. They have currently only 3 operations compared to outer Kara out of which only 2 have been completed and the 3rd one is still ongoi….

"What are the first 2?"

"Here look, the first one is Operation: Overlord which was the experiment for making a super soldier just like captain America but the experiment was a total failure and so they had to back down, the second one was Operation: MK Ultra Jr. but it stopped before it could even start due to lack of fund and technology, It had the same goal as the first one.

"And what is the last one?

"This why I was really scared, what if I tell you that Vegas is playing the biggest monopoly with us"

"What do you mean!!?"

"This is the ongoing operation, it's called Operation: New dawn, these people are literally kidnapping kids, you must have heard the news about the mass kidnapping that had took place?"

"YES!!"

"So this kids were later were forced to work in the currently found plutonium mine and have been selling the plutonium to criminal gangs like the Yakuza and the Russian Mafia and the kids which are less talented have been sold to other countries. The worst part is that all of this is being funded by a government official from the tax that we are paying to them."

"Holy shitt!!! This is truly the biggest monopoly ever played in the history of Vegas."

"Yeah….."

"Thanks man, I was aiming without any target to be aim upon, I mean if you wouldn't be there I don't know what would I had done."

"Yeah sure and from now we will work together and I will support in every way but I have only one condition"

"What?"

"You would the things how I say and when I say, ok?"

"Yes SIR!!!"

Both of them laughed and right then both of their stomach start to burp sound which showed that they of them were hungry and so they went down and took breakfast together. He later went home and decided to meet later in the afternoon. Josh was very happy as he had an upper hand in the operations that Kara would be doing in the future. Josh already plans for his suit which he would use, it was a special suit made of Titanium-Graphene alloy which was of grey colour and was very hard and lightweight but only problem was it was super hi-tech stuff and not easily available. Stealing was not possible and his father would not buy him such an expensive material in the name project. The only way was which was disliked by him was to enter the Vegas Black market.

In the afternoon they met each other at a park and Austin asked, "So dude what's your plan right now to stop them?"

"Well I have no plan right now, right now I am only focused upon is those 3 guys who killed my grandpa."

"Hmmm"

"Well, I need your help, can you hook me up with a seller from the black market, I...…."

"Wait a minute, what do you mean the black market?"

"For my suit, I need titanium graphene alloy to complete it"

"Ohk, but black market dealings are very hard to complete and they can also go wrong but we have to take risks and we have already taken it after the stunt that you pulled that night'

"Ok don't remind me of that, just can you do it for me?"

"Of course, we are partners now, I will find someone and will let you know."

While they were talking, two guys wearing black jacket and glasses were seating right parallel to them and observing them. One of them spoke, "That's him?"

"Face match showed positive, maybe it's him"

"Well, boss said to observe right now before we can make a move."

"I want to kill him right away after what he did with our friends."

"Wait, our time will come, don't worry"

Both of them look at each other and share a small smile….
