        Claire's pov

Like every teenager  senior year in highschool is the most epic period in the lives but for me  and my bro it was more of finishing school. I was still dreaming landing my career job at brickle.

My twin brother hensel was more into rugby like every popolar teenager in highschool ,he was more about going pro in the sport. We might have shared the same both date but me and my brother were very different from each other.

All the girls in highschool drooled over him he was well built with a good physique curly shiny black hair and an infectious smile he was the radiant star in my live as well as others.

On the other hand I was always the nerd ,the always serious one I had friends but that was only one that I managed to keep was Becca well her real name was Rebecca but she always preferred Becca especially I there was a hot dude around.

Well brickle  was a science and technology company that dealt with generic engineering and manipulation , disease prevention but the main reason I decided to join the field is that the company also help prevent and solve global calamities like drought

But I yet had one more year to deal with highschool bullies before I could get to that point in my life ,although hensel looked out for me he was not always around to be my night and shining amor when ever I needed him to save me

Often the bullies would be hensel ex's or current girlfriends after a while I had lost track of all the girls in hensel's life but I guess it was part of growing up

Not that I also did want I love life but the only guy I had eyes for didn't even know my name or even know that I existed.....his name is Collin

He was the fancy of many girls in highschool he was a nerd but also a hot one ,he was into all kind of things science 😛 sports and technology.... damnit I was drooling over him since junior high school

On the top list of hot and sexy dudes in highschool I would bet he would be in the top ten ,him and my brother seemed to fit in the same social circles .

Like most of  girls my year there main goal was to party and get wasted but that was the least of my concerns, unlike most of the girls they had parents to take care of all their needs but as for me and my brother we had to look out for ourselves... jungling jobs and highschool.

Our lives were perfectly normal and simple but we liked it that way

A masquerade party was the most attended party in the Milton highschool this year everyone was bound to attend it being the last year

The party was popular in school because it was the day all the Virgins in school got drunk and wasted enough to get smashed by a random guy and in the morning wake up with no memory of the occurrences of the previous night

I was sitted on my bed relaxed reading a book while eating some macaroons when the door bell rang I walked towards the door only to find Becca at the door.

She was wearing a high slit dress with a cute collar and Black high heels she looked like a monument due to her over accessories that she had on but still managed to look like a goddess

She was slender with blonde long flowing hair. Me and Becca we're from two different worlds she was well off while I had to struggle to make ends meet sometimes I think that the only reason we became friends is that when I was young we went to the same school but all in all we were close

Claire please accompany me to buy a dress for the masquerade party I have nothing to wear and besides you could get yourself one and attend the masqueradyye party with me besides it's on the same day as your birthday it will be fun I promise ,Becca insisted .

Becca was always persuasive but in this instance I was not going to let her win. I was not going to that party and that was it but I agreed to take her shopping,I could never really deny her sugar treats knowing every well I had sugar teeth.

We arrived an hour later at the shopping mall ,we walked for hours and hours none stop until Becca found the dress she wanted and thanked the heavens for that because I was already exhausted from walking from store to store.

We then headed for the ice cream polar . I nice and friendly waiter served our ice cream and soon enough we were digging into our ice cream when a squad of girls headed for our table but as soon as I saw Leila I felt my stomach turn

Leila was a slender,blonde and tall girl she was too tall for my liking but she was the leader of the most popular girls in school ,well I guess it was because she was rich hence she was able to earn the attention of many well...including Collin to be precise she was his girlfriend and for that fact she was the envy of many including the poor old me.

She always made sure to rub it to my face that Collin would never fancy me neither notice me and today was no different.

Look who we have here it's Collin's stalker 😠 she's a wanna be who will never be anything but the poor old her from the gutter like a rat😠 she will also probably die a virgin because no one will ever notice her,Leila spoke boastfully.

Her words hit me like sharp daggers straight through my heart ,that gave me a reason to go to the party , mostly it was to prove her wrong.

Becca helped me find the perfect dress for the party and by the time we got to her place it was only two hours to the party.
