Bill: "Wake up"

An old lady happily squeaks: "Honey please open your eyes"

Slowly I open my eyes...the room fills in with whispers.

My head hurts when the bright light hits my eyes.The room is filled with people I don't know.

I am inside a cabin.There are ventilators and various sophisticated machines supporting my living.It seems like I am in a hospital.

There is a monitor in which my heartbeat is being displayed.

An old man exclaims happily: " Thank God!!! Our baby is alright."

But I don't understand what these people are saying so I decide to make a remark.

I slowly mumble, "I don't know you people"

The old lady breaks down immediately.

The lady with an motherly appearance speaks sadly: " I told you this would be coming."

The man replies in a monotonic tone, "We have got her back so be thankful to God."

"Why am I even here?", I say.I try to move a little bit and then sit upright.

But the lady comes close to me and makes me lay back on my bed.She gently pats me.

She says in a caring voice, "Take rest honest.You need to recover soon."

I enquire, " Do I know anyone of you?"

She replies, "I am your mom Jenny."

I am so confused.Suddenly an old lady comes to me and admits herself as my mother.

"I don't know you aunty", I assure her.

She seems hurt by my words.

I apologise and say, "Look I don't know you people.You are having some sort of misunderstanding."

Soon my eyes meet with a familiar figure and my body reacts in a dreadful manner.Chills run down my spine and my eyes widen.

He steps forward

My grip around the sheets tighten and an unknown fear takes over me.

He speaks softly, "Hi Mia"
