6. Deceived

When Tom woke up in the morning, he realized that he was late for school.

Tom grabbed his bag and apparated to school. He gave up going by car because he was late. Tom had apparated to the locker room of the gym at school.

When he came out, he looked at the clock and there were 4 minutes left for the students to arrive at the gym.

Tom bought himself a coffee from the canteen. After the lesson starts, he takes care of the students for 10 minutes and examines the magic research in the remaining time.

Tom continued like this until Lunch. When he entered the canteen, he felt a strange feeling.

He was alert to any danger.

His eyes met with a girl. Tom tried to read the girl's mind but couldn't concentrate on casting the spell.

Failing to cast a spell made Tom angry. Tom sat down at an empty table after taking his food. Tom wanted to look at the girl in a way he couldn't understand.

When he quickly finished his meal and stood up, he came face to face with the girl.

She was sitting with his friends next to him. Alice smiled when she caught Tom's eyes.

Tom took his eyes off the girl and walked out of the canteen without reacting.

Alice was upset when Tom left without any reaction.

When Tom returned to the gym, he was unhappy about what had just happened. After the students arrived, Tom sat in his chair and continued his research on magic.

While Tom was continuing his research on Magic, he heard the bell ring for the next class.

He started waiting for the students. When the students entered, there was also the girl he saw in the canteen.

While Tom was checking the student's attendance, he saw that the girl's name was Alice Cullen.

He sensed a low level of magic power in Alice. Tom felt a strange energy between him and Alice.

He wasn't going to examine this right now.

Tom sat in his chair after giving the students some exercise. Tom looked at Alice and saw that she was looking at him too. Tom's eyebrows were furrowed because he felt strange.

Alice was surprised by Tom's frown. Alice was upset because she thought she was disturbing Tom.

Tom turned back to the front and was reviewing notes on magical research in his notebook.

Tom looked up from his notebook when there was some noise.

Alice was holding her foot on the ground. When Tom saw this, he stood up and secrety used the 'Revivify' spell, a simple healing spell. Just when you thought the injury was healing. Alice continued to hold her foot on the ground.

Tom walked towards Alice.

Hadn't he used the spell correctly?

When Tom came to Alice, Alice held her ankle with her hand.

"Mr. Miller, can you help me get to the infirmary?"

Tom was surprised that his spell didn't work. Tom thought about how to handle this.

"Take my hand Ms.Cullen"

Tom helped Alice to her feet. Alice was walking leaning on Tom and getting support from him.

When Tom arrived at the Infirmary, he learned that the Infirmary was closed today. 'Why do all misfortunes find me?'.

Alice said to Tom, "Mr. Miller, my father is a doctor, I can call him and ask him to come." Tom liked the idea. "Okay Ms.Cullen let me get you some ice."

Without waiting for her to speak, Tom went and took a piece of ice from the fridge and put it in the bag. He made a call to my School Principal about the issue and informed him.

When he went to Alice, Alice was looking at the phone in her hand. "Mr. Miller, I informed my father. My father will be here soon."

Tom gave the ice in his hand to Alice. Alice's finger touched Tom's hand as he handed over the ice. Alice's skin was cold because she was a vampire, but Tom's hands were cold because he was holding the ice, so he couldn't notice any abnormalities.

When Tom made eye contact with Alice, he saw what was on her mind. Tom found out that Alice was lying.

Tom was surprised because he thought his spell wasn't working. Alice's lying made Tom angry. 'Was this little girl pretending to skip school?'.

While they were waiting silently, a blonde-haired man entered. "You must be Mr.Miller, right, thank you for helping my daughter." "You're welcome Mr.Cullen, get well soon Ms.Cullen." Alice and Carlisle left school together.
