13 13. Snow

Tom woke up early even though there was no school today because Tom is used to waking up early. Tom was not good with sleep even as a child, this habit did not change when he grew up.

 It was snowing outside.

Tom strolled through his garden, accompanied by a gentle breeze that carried delicate snowflakes dancing through the air. Despite the cold, Tom felt warm inside; he was excited to practice a new spell today.

Stopping in the middle of his garden, Tom took a deep breath. Raising his hands to the sky, he began to draw in the cold air and water molecules from the atmosphere around him. With focused concentration, he started to manipulate these elements.

Before long, clouds began to gather around Tom. The water vapor he had drawn from the atmosphere condensed, forming a thick layer of clouds that covered the sky. Tom carefully controlled these clouds, gradually condensing them further and transforming them into large ice crystals.

The ice crystals around Tom began to shimmer brightly, under his control they moved towards their target. Tom extended his hands towards the target and signaled for the intense hailstorm to begin.

Suddenly, the ice crystals surged forward, hurtling towards their target with incredible speed. In an instant, the area around a tree in the garden was enveloped in large ice crystals. Tom watched with a smile as the powerful attack unfolded; he was in awe of the strength of his newly acquired magical abilities. 

After he trained Tom decided to have his breakfast outside. Tom was wearing black trousers, a dark green sweater and a black coat.

 After taking his car out of the garage, Tom got in his car and set off. Since Tom's house was in a secluded place, the snow on the road to the house was not cleared.

 Tom melted the snow on the road by casting a spell.

Tom went to a restaurant to have breakfast.

 Tom was surprised when he entered the restaurant because the entire Cullen family was sitting at a table drinking blood that looked like red wine.

 Tom didn't understand why he kept running into the Cullens. It was very difficult for them to follow Tom and it was impossible for them to read his mind.

 The Cullen family knew Tom was here from Alice's vision, Alice saw Tom having breakfast here.

 When Tom and Alice made eye contact, Alice smiled and waved at Tom and stood up and went to Tom. When Alice went to Tom, she started talking to Tom.

"Mr.Miller, we were here too, I would love for you to join us.".

Tom tried to refuse.

"I don't want to disrupt your family event, Ms. Alice."

Esme got up from where she was sitting and came to help Alice.

 "I guess you are our children's teacher, Mr. Miller. I am their Mother Esme."

"Yes, Mrs. Cullen, I didn't expect you to recognize me."

Esme realized she was making a fuss.

"My husband told me. You stood by my daughter and helped her when Alice was injured. I am grateful to you, Mr. Miller."

"I was only doing my duty, Mrs. Cullen."

Esme wanted to call Tom to the table for Alice.

 "Mr.Miller, we would like you to join us."

Tom agreed because he thought he couldn't deal with these two women.

"Okay Mrs.Cullen then I'm joining you today."

Tom walked over to the Cullen's table. After greeting Carlisle, Tom sat in the empty chair next to Alice.

 Esme turned to Tom. "Mr.Miller, if you are hungry, eat something, we are not hungry." Tom was actually hungry, but he didn't want to eat alone in front of all those people. Tom had lied. "I'm not hungry, I just came for a drink."

Alice suspected Tom was lying, but Alice couldn't say anything. Esme continued to ask questions.

"Mr. Miller, we heard that you moved to Forks this year. Do you like the town?"

Tom had never thought about this before.

"Yes, Mrs. Cullen, Forks is a peaceful place for me."

The Cullen family was smiling. Edythe was looking at Alice and smiling. Carlise spoke up,

"Like you, we live here because we find Forks peaceful."

Tom ordered coffee because he didn't want to drink around strange people.
