4 ▫The Escape▫

"600 thousands."

"800 thousands."

"One million."

That was the worth of the item but at some point of the bidding, Ciana got surprised by one of the bidders.

"Ten million of Yors. This includes the female being who handled the item with her care."

"Going once!" The announcer said, "Going twice?" And there it goes, "Sold!" Ciana who always looks beautiful in any outfit she wears made her feel worthless at the moment. The impeccable way of her undercover task had been ruined. She was expecting to buy an item, not to be bought as the part of the 'Item'.

She had seen enough of a beings eye coming from the audience, it was her cue to run away from the place together with the 'Light'. She, herself did not see the advance picture of what she would look like after a ten minutes of running in the corridors, chased as a suspect by the sentries. Of course, she was running with the high heels on. It was hurting her but why would she be bothered in noticing the pain when she was being hounded.

The unbelievable exchange of character as the sentries that were assisting her become a foe.

She paused. . well, honestly she was trapped. Upfront, sentries were blocking her and from behind. Only the window that was on the side meant an option for her to use.

She pretended to kneel down and get busy with her heels, "You want me?" Ciana smirked while she throws her heels from front and behind, "Come and get me,"

She crossed her elbows before breaking the window as she jumps out of it. The portion of time as she landed her foot on the rocky ground made the dress activated its converted combat suit.

"Get her!" A angry tone went ringing on her ears. Three of the sentries that were behind her before managed to quickly follow her on the ground. It was a twenty-foot wall to jump down. A ordinary human could be injured at that point.

Ciana was now wearing a comfortable grey combat shoes with a straight black leather combat uniform and grey circular marks on the arms. It helped increased her speed, after all a being like her and the sentries were not human, they were more than a human could deal with.

When she thought she needed and might have to chase someone, a reverse occasion just happened, she was now being chased. She did not anticipate this, sprinting out, throwing those precious but not good-for-her heels and let the speedy shoes take over her speed at the area. Seems she would have a lot of fun today.

Three sentries settle into their sights that an existence breaks down when they do not care for the prey. There was no personal emotions attached with this living soldiers in Arkedss, but among the sentries it would be an honor for them to achieve in capturing the prey which was obviously her. She was an attractive reward, a smack on her face that she was now meaningless, her dignity has been washed out.

However, it would not go well for the sentries. She was not just a simple prey.

"I did not know sentries are slow," she sneered, hinting out to them that they would fail if they continue chasing her.

"Just surrender yourself, you have already been bought out by a buyer." An insulting remark from one of the sentries made Ciana smirk, "I am not an item, to begin with," she crouched down and slide her left leg into a three-sixty degree rotational course while her dominant hand was placed down on the rocky ground as a support for her body-weight balance, she was making sure that the three sentries that surrounded her will fall with there bodies down on the ground.

Yeah, she was every speck as fatal.

A hidden source of energy that was being sealed in her core seeped from every pore of her. If she would have guess it right, the sentires were no match for her. It was something more basic, and can not be compared to the students that enrolled in Warzone Headquarters. She would not gave out any credit for the weak armored yet useless living beings.

Ciana doubled check the sentries on the ground of they can still possibly get up. She stopped as soon as she saw movements from one of the fallen sentries that had caught her eye.

Nope, not this time. A weak sentry should stay low, laying on the ground was enough to be exact.

The only thing that she has to hide at these time was the item, with just a steady concentration she could hear another batch of sentries catching up on the stand point she was in. The noise detection was like a old-sound of music in the back of her head, she must not let her guard down and continue to run away instead of making sure the previous sentries she fought has been knocked out.

Or in second thought, she should not let one of them gain consciousness. So she hurriedly took out a long syringe and stick it on the visible left arm of those fallen ones.

"My second job here is done," Ciana walked away happily until she heard another similar call from behind her.

"Catch her!" No matter how strong, clever and fast she can be, there will always be an endless chase if she gets a one step behind from the foes.

She was also the weakest, like nobody needed to befriend with her, unfamiliar with the fact she was also the toughest. Ironic and confusing , right? Well, that was how the beings mainly address her. Her background that has been known as a orphan, it made the other beings believe that she steal those abilities that she has got. She was still as an excellent student, but nothing special since she was also the weakest. They declare.

However, the new recruits that were about to meet her did not know what she was. Currently, even the old members at the Warzone headquarters are not fully aware of her background. Because she also did not know who are her family.

She had to be successful in completing the tasks to be acknowledged, still. . she has always been hidden.

Like those planetary fugitives.
