14 The Crystal Scorpion

The slash pierced through Sephtis destroying the after image that was created , Sephtis appeared behind the monster he saw the characteristics, it was a big black scorpion it had crystals on the tip end of its tail, it's back and pincers, the crystals glow a purple color, and It was two time bigger than Sephtis.

<Sephtis>"What the hell is that" Sephtis looked surprised as he has never seen any monster like that, although there are scorpion out in the world they are only at the size of a human, so the scorpion in front of him is exclusive to The Devils Den.

Even thought the scorpion is big, it is quick on its feet and his tail is even faster, as it aimed at Sephtis, the only thing that could be seen was a blur. Sephtis quickly jumped to dodged it and shot a beam of lighting, and the beam that had pulverized several trees like nothing barely made a scratch on the scorpion m.

<Sephtis>"This thing is strong, fast and has high defenses, everywhere I move to, it quickly follows."

Sephtis then turned invisible to try and hit his eyes, the scorpion put his pincers in front to cover from the attack. Apparently the scorpion could see the heat of living creatures but since Sephtis blood is cold the scorpion only realized Sephtis only when he was in front of him.

<Sephtis>"Looks like I'll have to go for its blind spot but his defenses are really high."

Sephtis still having time left from his invisibility move to the blind spot on the back of the scorpion and creates a neon green ice shard and pieced the scorpions back. The scorpion begins to shriek and rolls around right as Sephtis jumped of its back leaving the ice shard stuck, the scorpion stay in the ground as its green blood starts flowing out, Sephtis seeing this try's to approach it but the scorpion retaliates trying to pierce Sephtis with its tail.

/Note: The reason the Neon Ice Shard worked and the Lighting Beam didn't is because of the element, the elements that Sephtis uses are not normal that's why they have different effects depending on the color. so if a normal ice shard were to try and piece the scorpion, the ice shard would just shatter.\

Sephtis retreating from the the scorpion decided to throw long range attacks. Five neon green ice shards begin to form in the air as Sephtis just stand there with a nonchalant face. The ice shards head at the scorpion with great speed, and the scorpion seeing the ice shard heading it's way try's to protect himself with his pincers, but to only fail as they get pierced and pass through and hit the head killing the scorpion.

Sephtis once again approaches it to see the result and sees the scorpion with six ice shards on its body as the green colored blood flows out.

<Sephtis>"Mm, this scorpion would be good to have as an undead."

[Do you wish to make this monster into an undead and make it your servant]

[Yes/No]

<Sephtis>"Yes"

In the next moment a black mist started to surround the corpse and gets absorbed. The monster starts to wake up and stands up in front Sephtis, the crystals of the scorpion that were once purple had now turned black.

<Sephtis>"Return"

As Sephtis said those word the scorpion then faded.

<Sephtis>"Summon"

And just as it faded it reappear again with a black mist.

<Sephtis>"Alright return"

As the scorpion faded again Sephtis walked to the crystal at the end of the room as it emitted a malicious aura. As Sephtis touched it pain ran thought his body and into his soul. Once the pain stoped the malicious aura that the crystal emitted has vanished.

[Crystal is now bound to the soul]

<Sephtis>"Huh? What do you mean"

[Once the host gets his weapon the system will explain it]

<Sephtis>"Alright, I guess I'll just take the crystal and return, I'll have time to explore 'The Devils Den' later.

Sephtis puts the crystal and starts to leave the room and proceeding to the exit.
