Everyone turned to look at the thrown man and laughed out loud.

Denis seemed to have known what happened to him with a faint smile at the corner of his mouth.

Gaining consciousness, Denis tried opening his eyes severally and only saw vague images before becoming clear. He wanted to sit up but felt something heavy on top of him. He tilted his head on the side and found Susan sleeping next to him, lying on his chest with part of her body squeezed, almost falling down. His heart ached for her. She had been through a lot in just a few days after getting married. He felt somehow useless.

He clenched his fist and swore to be a better husband in the future and garner enough strength that no one would fight over his family. He needs to understand how his powers work and also train more of his men.
