46 Divine Family Part 4 A visit & reveal
"If they are supposed to be on guard duty of course they must suffer." Shen Yue grinned from ear to ear. "Guard rotation is given in advance as well as alterations due to plots from the enemy and threats to the compound. Then there is the threat that comes from the city overall like just now.":
"Then those "considered" unloyal will face a terrible outcome." Duan Jian said next to him. Mostly for the sake of a few dissenters and those unsure about themselves. "Order can not exist without consequences. Those guards who rush off are putting so many in danger. That just cannot stand."
"Then a payment ahead of time must be met." Ye Ziyuin scribbled some words down and handed it to him. "I am sure this will work out in case that happens." Her memories before her death in the desert allowed the young girl to develop her role quite nicely as a mediator.
Unraveling it revealed she was willing to honor a request of his. Something he had Ye Hong try to gain access to.
"This will work fine." Shen Yue nodded smiling. "Best to go now, to fulfill it."
Duan Jian was given the command to oversee the other matter regarding the issue with the Wall. Shen Xiu stood there in wonder. Usually, the matter regarding something like this would have fully be handled by here. But the incident before still had her on "suspension" as it were.
Coming to a decision she left to go back inside. Shen Yue missing the red ribbon attached to her arm. The items he was about to go and deal with would give him a good insight in something.
City Lord Ye Zong was frustrated but his daughter told him to trust her just a few days ago. After the incident revealed mattes about her mother more, she guilt-tripped her father to step up as her father and a man.
She would carry the weight of the City Lord Mansion if he was unable to. The man was both impressed and devastated she felt so strongly about the City and their Family. With Nie Li there as well, matters took a further weird turn.
The Divine Family household was about to change greatly by the looks of it.

Walking in the Snow Wind Family's vault, he saw exactly what he wanted in a few seconds. A very large egg with engravings on them. The Ancient Language just a big temptation for others. He didn't touch but observed the writings making sure to understand each one.
Asking a guard to pick it up and rotate it around to read the other letters. At one point, the guard got to close to Shen Yue having him back up. The stupid egg tried to attach itself to Shen Yue.
*Babump!* The egg throbbed releasing killing intent in one direction. It felt the threat of Shen Yue.
"It just moved!" The guard said shocked.
"Now put it back." Shen Yue glowered at the guard. His confirmation was understood then and there. 'I can't take the little bastard because it's the influence of Time. But I can decipher these runes thanks to the knowledge from the Ruins of Orchid City as well as the Thunder God Meteorite Sword. Getting one step closer!'
*Swoosh!* The Blood Lust sealed in the egg was pulled out. Thanks to the Demon Codex from Star God Martial Dimension and the Heart Method, it was a cinch to wrestle it completely from the egg.
Looking at a sword on a shelf, the Metal Seed in his chest pulsed. Defintely worth grabbing it.
*Woom!* The hum echoed in the room before Shen Yue picked it up. Once acquired, it melted down on it's own entering the Metal Seed. Not even refining in the least by himself.
The Flame Vortex Core started spinning on its own sending spirit energy into it. His technique of the Metal Seed upgrading an entire level on its own. Then the wisp of understanding entered him. It contains the tiniest of the Heavenly Law of Gold.
"Ugh!" Shen Yue groaned. The law of "Gold" conflicted with his understanding of science. It was actually inferior in a way. To be precise the person who was the last Spiritual God was mentally inferior. "Time to go!"
Leaving the place his understanding of science continued to correct the wisp of the Law. His cultivation speeding up along with the Flame Vortex Core. Before he even made it home safely, it changed into the Law of Metal.
Once home, Shen Yue instructed he was not to be disturbed. He enters inside his soul and cultivates diligently. The Flame Vortex Core spinning wildly as the increase in laws allowed his understanding as a Champion to flourish more.
*Fwoosh!* A red white flame appeared as Shango appeared in his soul. This was just what Shen Yue wanted. To be precise, Leroy fully awakened back up.
"You have kept something from me haven't you?" Leroy's tone was cold with a deadly edge to it. "Why are you moving in the background like this? Why are you interfering with my actions like this!?"
"To prevent another Rexford from occurring." Shango said neutrally. His flames ablaze counteracting the pull of the Flame Vortex Core. "Rexford.. is eviler than anything I have ever seen in my long life. As a member of the African Pantheon, I could not "risk" you going that route. You still have a sense of morality in you. Your humanity creates guilt, it will be needed in the coming years."
*Fizzle!* Thick black light burst inside the Soul Realm. It was concentrated Death Energy that tried to take root. The Flame Vortex was by far the most suited for it out of the different "abilities" awakened in the souls of those that left Earth from Rexford's circle of friends.
"This belongs to him!" A few voices echoed in the Soul Realm. Ogbunabali and Agwu Nsi said togthor. The two African Gods had made themselves known just a little to them. "As well as the other!"
*Fizzle!* Another light burst but vanished all the same. This one was clear and contained Medicinal Energy.
"The reason I said to be careful about the Death energy. A few in the Pantheon have argued over you." Shango grinned a little. "How does it feel to be wanted by several in the Pantheon?"
It was an attempt to draw the conversation in a different direction.
"Tch!" Leroy scoffed. "Rexford, was never the morally correct person after "she" died but he kept everything upfront with us. The only thing he did keep from us.. was the matter that lead to everyone in our inner circle ending up in different Dimensions. That is neither here nor there. We are talking about you and me."
"You are my descendant, I can not help but interfere." Shango took a step closer but didn't move again as the Flame Vortex Core spun faster. All the different Artifacts Rexford absorbed made it that much stronger. Strong enough to threaten Deity's way earlier than the African Pantheon suspected. "The Aspect of Time... naturally sought you out. Which was not good since as a Plastic Surgeon, your mindset was already altered through studies."
"The God complex surgeons have." Leroy face twisted in a snarl almost. He hated the saying the same as most. Almost every person alive played god at one point. Some more than others. "Destiny is not the one preventing it.. the African Pantheon itself is. Am I right?"
"Yes. Some are concerned. So tests were implemented. More than what is done for most Champions." Shango felt the pull of the Flame Vortex increase. "It was not something I could stop."
"Hmmm, I bet." Leroy felt his Soul Realm expand even further. "If I leave as your Champion, what happens?"
"Then you are on your own. I can not assist you of course." Shango answered reluctantly. The rules among the Pantheons were quite clear in regards to this type of questioning. Especially after Leroy coming to his Second Dimension. "I know what you are thinking, I have only helped a little. But my hands are tied most times with everything going on."
"I bet." Leroy was not to believing of that. More needed to be uncovered but he other issues to deal with. "Answer me this, what happens if I reach the Spiritual God Realm? To be exact, the Demigod Realm before hitting into the Heavenly Fate Realm?"
"Your power as a Champion will be fully realized. The Pantheon would have to take note." Shango answered. Happy that Leroy was not breaking ties. But something told him it was coming. If not soon. "You will "See" what can not normally be seen. I can not say more."
"Fine." Leroy felt his attainment in the Legend Realm subside. The breakthrough was seamless after he returned to his room where preparations were made but did not convey much stronger overall. "I have gain better control of my spiritual force. Usage cut down and flow increase."
*Fwish!* Shango vanished in flames. Leaving only a few words behind.
"Be careful of the Divine Family, they found something in the Orchid City Ruins."
"Hmm, forgot all about that." Shen Yue answered. The moment Shango was fully gone, Leroy was repressed a little. But the process was less and less each time. "I have rembered a little more about myself without having to burn up mental energy. Time to make a trip."
The Aspects he had as a Champion continued to mesh with that of Laws. The hope was to get to the point that even if he could not track down the one who held the actual Law, he would be able to see it when forming it into an Aspect of a Champion.
There was still so much to learn. While working, Shen Yue missed the Flaming Snake eyes shine Gold & Black a little.
As Shen Yue made mental preparations steeling his heart, others in his camp were doing the same. It took a week before he was done and was heading out the next morning on another excursion. With a special person coming to visit the Dark Moon Compound first thing in the morning, a small adjustment was made.

Shen Yue and the Officers Three stopped at the Main Gate. Suprise on Shen Yue's face at Yang Xin with a few members of the Alchemy Association present. Yang Xin had brought quite a few powerhouses with her.
Each of them at the Black Gold Realm 5th Rank. They had worked hard in producing more experts. Something must be going on within the Alchemy Association.
"Shen Yue, wondering if you have a moment?" Yang Xin asked politely. A sound seal was immediately put up. "Elder Gu Yan sends his regards as well a request." She passed offer some documents. "Does this sound good to you?"
The document contained a few requests as well as an Alliance contract with the Alchemy Association. A broader one than the small business agreement pertaining to the store that was allowed in the Dark Moon Family compound.
Shen Yue signed the documents after some thought then sent it with a guard to take. It was to be delivered to Duan Jian first. If the matters with the dissenters were taken care of Shen Xiu could way in on it.
"Is that all?" Shen yue asked.
"On your next.. excursion, we would like to be involved." Yang Xin said hopefully. "If it is not a problem."
"Just in time, come with me." Shen Yue lead Yang Xin and her forces out of the city and into the outside towards the Ruins Of Orchid City. "Just a small check of the place before heading to somewhere else."
Yang Xin was excitied. The reports and from what she saw of the people in the Dark Moon compound proved other civilations existed out there. She wanted to see it with her own eyes still.
