9 Unforeseen Variable
Noelle is lethargic from the journey and hot session that just occurs. The warm embrace and the sweet smell permeated from Kian's chest makes her eyelids feel heavier. Noelle drifted to slumber soon after.
Kian wakes up after having a refreshing two hours of shut eye. He carefully slid himself out of the bed before landing a peck of kiss on Noelle's cheek. His body feels lighter after a brisk shower as burden is no longer bugging him. Kian turns on the tap to prepare a hot bath for Noelle. He poured a few drops of Ylang-ylang essential oil into the hot water because he remembered Noelle loves the sweet and a soft hint of fruity floral scent.
"Wake up Noelle." Kian's gentle deep voice vibrates Noelle's eardrum as a kiss landed on her forehead.
"Ushmm. Kian. I want to sleep more" Noelle stretched her arms up and cover her face with the duvet.
"Ahh." Noelle was caught by surprise when she found herself in Kian's embrace. When she opened her eyes, she realized that Kian was lifting her in 'princess carry'. Noelle covered her face to hide her burning face.
"Noelle, you will need to clean up and you will feel better later." Kian nags while a smirk forms on his face because he enjoys Noelle's blushing face. He brings Noelle to the bathroom and slowly puts her body inside the hot bath.
Noelle can feel the tightness of her muscles start to relax as in contact with the warm water. She notices the aroma of Ylang-ylang and wonders how Kian knows her most favorite scent. "Maybe because he saw the Ylang-ylang bottle lying around with less than half at the apartment.", she thought to herself and decided not to probe further.
"Ermm. Kian. You can leave me now." Noelle breaks the silence as she was embarrassed since Kian has been studying her body with his eyes.
"I will help you." Kian stares into Noelle with an assertive look before grabbing the new bath sponge he brings from the luggage.
Noelle keeps her head down as Kian's hand explores her body and gently scrubs while exploring her body. There were ripples appearing on the surface of the water as Kian's hand moved slowly towards her bosoms.
"This is so addictive as I will never get enough of playing with your plump breast." Kian speaks softly and Noelle barely can hear what he is saying. As she turned her head towards Kian, her lips touched him as he was so close to her face. Kian stunned by the sudden soft touch on his lips.
"I didn't know that you loved my lips so much." Kian spoke in seductively with a smirk.
"Of course I do." Noelle smiles as she wants to tease Kian instead of submitting to his remark.
"Oh. You do." Kian moved to kiss the sweet pink lips until both of them were out of breath.
"We should get ready soon. I bet Maeve and Rael are waiting for us for lunch." Noelle doesn't want the kiss to lead to another session as she doesn't think that she has any more energy to spend the day. Noelle grabs the sponge and proceeds to clean herself before Kian wraps her with a towel. He wipes her body then helps to dry her hair.
Noelle was surprised that Kian had the talent to style her hair. He blows dry her hair with soft curls before setting her bangs with a side part. The romantic soft and loose curls accentuate her heart shaped face.
Noelle picks a blush pink turtleneck oversized knitted sweater with dark olive box pleated skirt which covers until below her knees. Meanwhile Kian dressed himself choose a pale pink turtleneck with black long coat and black long pants to compliment his long legs. It is almost like they were to declare their relationship to the world in the most subtle way by wearing matching colors.
"Woot~ Woots! Finally the couple making their entrance!" Maeve and Rael scream when they see Noelle and Kian walking out from the room.
"Stop it guys. It was accidental." Noelle grabs Maeve and Rael by their arms and walks out of the door. Kian followed silently from the back as they headed to a Harry Ramsden restaurant as Rael was determined to try the rumored best Fish and Chips.
"Yumm! I am glad that we followed your idea to try the fish and chips here." Maeve exclaimed as she took one bite.
"You are the best Rael!" Noelle praised Rael while showing a thumbs up.
"Oh well. That is because laying out plans can save us from disappointment." Rael is known to be very meticulous with planning, grinned from ear to ear. Kian just keeps to himself as he wants to give Noelle time to spend with her friends as he was not supposed to be there in the first place.
"Lets try the new outdoor theme park." Maeve proposes that the theme park has just opened for the public right before Christmas.
"Sure. Just don't get sick like you do back in your university trip to Tambun Theme Park. It was horrible when you didn't stop vomiting." Rael advises Noelle because she sometimes has severe motion sickness.
"Yes. Yes. I have taken an anti nausea medicine beforehand because I know Maeve will suggest the outdoor theme park." Noelle smiles while rubbing her head because she knows Rael cares a lot about her. Kian looks at Noelle with pity then promises to pay extra attention to Noelle's expression in case she is not feeling well.
"Woohoo!!" Noelle and her friends raise their hands when they were riding the rollercoaster. The cold wind hits their faces as the roller coaster speeds up when it goes down the track.
They tried multiple rides before something caught Noelle's eyes.
"Girls! Lets try the Snow World." Noelle exclaimed as her almond shaped eyes gleamed with excitement. Even though it is filled with artificial snow, it is beautifully decorated. It almost feels like it is really snowing in Malaysia. Noelle walked hand in hand with both Maeve and Rael while neglecting Kian.
Realizing that Kian has been treated like a third wheel, Maeve and Rael plan to give Noelle a time alone with Kian so that their romance will blossom further.
"Noelle, we are going to get a hot cocoa. You stay here first with Kian." Before Noelle could react, Maeve and Rael ran while giggling.
Seeing Noelle shiver slightly while her lips have a slight blue tint, Kian take off his jacket and put it on Noelle.
"This will keep you warm." The jacket makes Noelle look like a little kid in a baggy jacket and makes Kian chuckled.
"What?" Noelle wonders why Kian laughed at her.
"Nothing. You look so cute." Kian rubs his hands together and puts it on Noelle's cheeks before giving her a peck on her lips.
"Don't do this. It is so embarrassing when everyone stares at us." Noelle walks away from Kian while her face flushes.
"Noelle. Kian. Two hot cocoas coming!!", Rael handed over the mug to them.
"Bang!" The sound of the door slamming to the wall shocked all the souls in the vicinity. A dozen men in black suits marched towards the group with an emotionless face while wearing dark sunglasses. They lined up in two files and proceeded to do a 90 degree bow to Noelle.
"Miss Noelle, please follow us obediently as we do not wish to impose harm on you." The leader instructed with a serious tone.
Noelle took a glance at her friend and she did not wish to inflict harm towards them. Noelle follows the man in black compliantly.
Maeve and Real feel annoyed on why some random people simply take Noelle away from them. They run and grab Noelle by her arms demanding explanation.
Noelle cries and hugs them. "Promise me that you wont forget all the memories we have together. One day I will try to make sure that we will be reunited but I can't explain further on this so that you guys will be safe."
A man with blonde hair walks slowly towards them wearing a black sunglasses with black coat. There is an imposing aura surrounding him. Once he reached where Noelle stands then the army of the man in black bows as he walked past. "We found her, Sir."
"Noelle. It's time to go.", He grabbed her hand and dragged her away as her tears flowed like a waterfall down her cheeks. Noelle tries to muster her courage and exert strength on the ground with her feet so that the man stops dragging her.
"Papa. I will follow you willingly but I have one favor from you." she looked him straight in the eyes.
"Yes. Anything that you wish Noelle." he replied.
"With all the power that you have, I want to have that man to come with me as my bodyguard without question asked." Noelle spurt her demand with every strength she has left in her.
Noelle's dad takes a glance at Kian and judging from his body built which is good enough to provide protection. "Sure but he will need to go through training once we reach there." He says emotionlessly as he signals to the leader of the man in black to bring Kian along.
Noelle uses the chance to communicate in ASL(American Sign Language) with Maeve and Rael to tell them that she will be ok and please forgive her.
Maeve and Rael signed," We do not blame you but please stay safe."
