19 YOUR FIANCE

"Would you like me to kiss you Antonia?"

"Yes."

He didn't wait for further instructions; he connected his lips with hers and felt them soften under his. His hand moved to her knee and her hands locked behind his neck as the kiss deepened. He moved his hand up her thigh, feeling her skin and testing her reaction. She moaned into his mouth and he couldn't stop the moan that escaped his.

He pushed her down on the sofa and continued kissing her. Her dress was riding up her thighs, almost to her waist and neither was at the point of questioning what was going on. The kiss deepened and Aidan shifted to settle himself between her thighs. She let him and he took that as a sign to go further. His hand went to cup her bottom and he shifted her so she could feel his erection on her core. He heard her gasp at the contact and knew he needed to be inside of her. He rubbed at her bud through what felt like lace underwear. He found the feel tantalizing and wanted to rip the thing off and bury himself here. To drown in what he knew would be his undoing. Hip to hip, chest to breast, they twined and rubbed and kissed and touched.

Before he could put his thoughts into action the doorbell rang. He groaned at the sound and wondered who that could be and why the doorman hadn't called to tell him someone was coming up. He dragged himself from her when the doorbell became insistent and went to the door.

"I'll be right back after getting rid of whoever that is."

He rushed to the door with a curse word on his lips and a very quick 'f***-off' speech ready. He opened it without looking through the peephole. His jaw almost dropped at the person standing on the other side. She brushed past him and turned to him with that deceivingly sweet smile of her.

"Aidan, I've been trying to get in touch with you."

Toni was just fixing her dress when she heard the female voice talking. She didn't know what had gotten into her but when Aidan kissed her all thought and reason went out the window.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"You haven't been answering my calls and you changed your cell number."

"That's because I don't want to talk to you."

Toni was shamelessly listening to the conversation, not sure what she was supposed to do. This must be his girlfriend and here she was acting like the whore her father said she was.

"You don't mean that. I want you back Aidan and I'm not leaving until you talk to me."

"You should leave. I have company and I'd appreciate it if you never showed up in front of me."

"You mean that mouse of a girl? Cradle robbing Aidan?"

"Just get out and stay the hell away from her and me."

Toni decided it was time to leave. She made it to the door and the house suddenly went quiet.

"I'm going to get going Aidan. It's a little late." She then turned to company and introduced herself.

"Hello, I'm Antonia."

"Hello Antonia, I'm Diane. Aidan's fiancé."

"It's nice to meet you and congratulations."

"What are you to my Aidan?"

Aidan interrupted then, he got in between them and took Toni's hand.

"She is not my fiancé and you are not leaving." He almost growled.

Toni could see that he was mad but she didn't want to get in the middle of whatever this was.

"Of course I'm your fiancé, where would I have gotten this ring?" Diane stepped out from behind Aidan, outstretching her arm to show Toni her ring.

"It's a beautiful ring and we are just friends. Nothing more." She said pointedly.

She was trying not to show the hurt she was feeling and thought that she might cry if she stayed here any longer. She removed her hand from Aidan and was glad that he didn't fight her on it. She got her coat and was about to leave when Aidan offered to help her with the coat.

"Joe will take you home. I'll call you later after taking care of this. She is not my fiancé and there is nothing happening between us."

"Its OK Aidan."

He didn't like the way she sounded and prayed to God she would listen to him later. He called Joe and walked her to the elevator. This was not how he planned his evening to go and the person to blame was still in his house and didn't seem like she was about to leave anytime soon.

After the elevator doors closed with Toni inside Aidan went back to the house and decided to get a few things and stay at his parents for a while.

"Aidan, we need to talk. I didn't mean to act that way with your friend but I need to talk to you and you weren't giving me a chance."

"I have nothing to say to you Diane. Just leave my house and my life and never come back."

"I want you back. Surely you must still love me."

Aidan gave her a very hollow laugh.

"Me? Love you? You are a bitch, you know that?"

He went to his room and packed a few things, she followed him around as he got his things together.

"Where are you going? Are you fucking that lil' bitch?"

"Don't ever in your filthy life use that kind of language in regard to her do you hear me? Or I swear to God you will regret ever knowing her name."

"What's so special about her? I love you."

He ignored her while he grabbed his bag and car keys and walked right past her to open the door.

"Get out."

"I'm not leaving until you talk to me."

"I'm not gonna talk to you and I sure as hell am not leaving you in my house."

He held the door open for her while she walked past him to the elevators.

"This isn't the last time you'll hear from me." She called out while entering the elevator and he didn't bother responding. He was locking up his apartment and pulling his phone out of his pocket.

"Joe. Is she home?"

"Yes sir." He hesitated a bit and then went on. "She was a bit upset and I wanted to tell you that someone was watching her earlier today when I picked her up."

Aidan paused and felt his heart constrict.

"Who was it?"

"I didn't see as the person turned into another street when they noticed Miss Mathews looking around."

"Did she see who it was?"

"I don't think so. She said she had a weird feeling when she stepped onto the side walk."

"Make sure Alex is watching her building 24/7 and report back any incidents immediately. Look out for Diane, she seems to be crazier than usual."

"I'll do that sir."

"Thank you for taking her home Joe, I hope she wasn't too upset."

"It's my pleasure sir. She is a very nice lady."

He hung up and took the elevator to the basement garage. He got into his Ferrari and dialed Toni's number.
