He decided to call Toni when he got home. He took out his cell while he took off his suit jacket. He dialed her number and she answered on the third ring while he removed his tie.

"Hello?"

"Hello Antonia. You sound a little breathless."

"Aidan? I was exercising."

Her naked sweaty body popped up in his mind and he almost groaned aloud.

"How is your evening?"

"It's ok. How did you get my number?"

"The same way I got your address."

She was silent for a few seconds and he thought she might hang up on him for the invasion of privacy. He would deserve it; he had become a stalker.

"Was it easy?"

"Not at all but I got someone who specializes in that kind of thing."

"Do you think other people might do the same?"

"I don't think so. I was desperate. Besides, I'd protect you if anyone tried anything."

"You could have just asked me."

"I didn't think you'd give me the time of day."

She waited a heartbeat and gave a little laugh he was beginning to think he needed to hear every day.

"I probably wouldn't have."

"I guess I got that part right."

"You seem to have got a lot more right."

"I'm a happy man to hear that."

There was silence from her end and he didn't mind it at all.

"I should get going. I need to shower and get some sleep. I want to get a few things done before our dinner tomorrow."

"Ok. Have a good night."

"You too Aidan, see you tomorrow."
