40 Chapter 40: Lost

I woke up the next day with a lazy smile on my face and got out of bed to freshen up. I took a quick hot shower and then started getting ready for the day. I put my hair into a side ponytail then changed into a light blue summer dress with some sandals and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning my love." I greeted Lily when I saw her arrange the food on the table.

"Morning." She replied with a chuckle as she finished setting up the table and I took a seat in front of a plate of pancakes with chocolate chips and a glass of orange juice.

"Bonne appetit. " She said and I nodded and took a bite.

"So what did Brandon do to deserve you?" I asked with a straight and saw Lily frown.

"What do you mean?" She asked confused.

"You can cook, have a kind heart, a great personality and I'm not saying that he is horrible but come on." I whined as I ate my pancakes and heard her chuckle.
