18 Chapter 18: Picnic

Last night's realization had me tossing and turning and was barely able to sleep until after midnight. So you can imagine how angry I was when someone knocked on the door waking me up.

"Leave me alone." I groaned with a throbbing head.

"Hun you need to wake up." My mom said opening the door and proceeding to remove my comforter.

" Why do I have to?" I cried desperate to get back to sleep.

"For one it's already afternoon and two Alex claims to have something important to tell you." my mom explained and at the mention of his name, my heart skipped a beat.

"Fine I will be there." I sighed.

"You better be or I'm pouring water on you next." she warned as she walked to the door making me pout.

I got up with some dizziness that quickly faded. I went to my bathroom and faced the mirror but the figure that greeted me made me curl my lips in both bewilderment and displeasure.
