1 Chapter 2:My 25th bitthday

Now it's been 10 years later but Jerk was still fresh in my mind and I can't help but fear the thought of falling in love again that's why for the 10 years after that year I avoided contact with anyone from the opposite sex if its necessary. I still lived with my parents since I can't find a job since I was used at working at my parents shop or most of the time at their bar which is located in our city which is Betio in the country of Kiribati. The bar was called midtown nite club and I love working there since I dance a lot in there and I met a lot of foreigners too and since I'm not a light sleeper the more I spent my time working at my parents bar since when I slept nobody can disturb my sleep since they all know I stayed up for 12 hrs every night and every day would be my time to recharge my batteries but not until now that my sleep was disturbed by my cell fone ringing nonstop, I opened my stinging eyes and saw that it's was Joanna my fav😍 bff, I hit the green button and said in a flat tone " Joanna what's up, did somebody die or do you want me to die?" Joanna on the other side laugh heartily " Joan are you still sleeping? have you forgotten what day today is?" I shrugged my shoulders and closed my eyes to continue to slumber land but Joanna's voice echoed through my ear from the other side of the fone "Hey bitch don't you dare sleep on me.... anyway Happy birthday." of course I was wide awake when Joanna called me Bitch coz I knew that she only uses that words to her bffs when she ia annoyed or angry with us but I can't even believe that today is my birthday. I was broke off from my daze when Joanna shouted throu the fone "Joan better get ready for we are going for a celebration in OT hotel at Bikenibeu." "I don't need celebration Joanna I need sleep." "No you're not and I have already asked for uncle and aunty for you to spent the night out with us and they totally agreed with me so better prepare don't make me wait for you when I get there." with that Joanna hanged up. Joan grieved for her sleep but knew that she can't waste her bffs good will for her and so Joan went to freshen up and then changed into a pair of jeans and black tank top and then she admired herself in the mirror. she is now a 139 pounds and a 5'5 feet height and her hair was now hanging all the way down to her lower knees which she likes very much to tied it up to a bun without getting much attention, nobody except for her girlfriends Joanna, Amy and Bella about her hair while her parents were still oblivious since they are always caught up with their work at their company that they didn't have enough time for their children and just put them under the maids care. Joan was done admiring her reflections when the door to her room opened and in came Joanna urging and drag her to her car. "wait Jo am I not supposed to drive my own car now?" Joanna (Jo) just shook her head and urge Joan (JoJo) to get inside. once inside the white Nissan Subaru which her bff Jo owned, JoJo was sitting like a child sulking for not taking her own car but Jo just shrugged her off and reminded her of their deal a month ago on October that she will intimately act with any opposite sex her friends chose. JoJo just nod and inwardly wishes that she had never agree to a stupid deal but now it's too late for her to regret😅. OT Hotel was a 2hrs drive from Betio and on traffic days would take 4 hrs to reach OT hotel but since today is not so busy they reached their destination at 8:00pm. They got out and went to the table that was near the entrance to the rooms and settle down while waiting for the other two who haven't arrived. after 30 minutes of patiently waiting, Amy and Bella with 3 males which are obviously their boyfriends Ethan for Bella, Jake for Amy and Daniel for Joanna. JoJo rolled her eyes once her friends were seated with their boyfriends by their side and blurted " I didn't know that it's lovers day today." her friends just giggled seeing the sarcasm in their friends eyes and ignore her. They ordered their drinks and her friends set the rules for the night. "OK today we have decided to get JoJo a boyfriend that can stay intimate with her and for tonights game no more truth only dare." Amy happily announced while the men chuckled by the dark look JoJo gave to her friends.

They start their night by ordering their drinks which is a whiskey and a cola for JoJo's friends while Joanna stick with the already mixed vodka which is the saratoka whiskey since it is low in alcohol and since she is going to finish her carton this night she had to braced her alcohol tolerance otherwise she will do something she will regret later.

JoJo was on her 3rd bottle of saratoka when her friends Amy said " OK the rules of the games are simple we spin the bottle and the one who got points by the bottle will be dared to do something."
