Glancing at the nonstop notifications, Alex grinned. Twenty minutes had already passed since the spar had began and some of his skills were constantly growing but not all of them.

Only the lower rating skills leveled up fast unlike the high rated skills. It was because the proficiency bar of uncommon skills is 1.5 times larger than the normal grade.

In other words, when a normal skills goes up, Alex had to work harder to raise the level of his uncommon skills than his normal skills.

Also, rare is twice as much than uncommon, epic are tripled than rare, hero are quadrupled than epic. The rating of legendary is five times harder to raise than hero.

Despite knowing that, Alex was already more than satisfied to what he was receiving.

However the pleasant feeling disappeared as he had once again failed. As a result of the Fusion skill increasing to level 2, the cooldown time was reduced to 20 minutes. Even though the success rate didn't increase, having the cooldown reduction was already good for Alex.

Unlike the smiling Alex, the Sword Princess simply stood, rooted to the spot. She was unable to move, incapable of even uttering a sound.

Everything so far away, the fight around her was reflected in her vision. Sparks and flames flew, blood splattered and the high pitched, metallic clanks of weapon on weapon again and again.

Even there was a great difference between Alex and Tiona, they were evenly matched. It didn't look like a simple spar at all. It was like a one on one fight to death.

Ais Wallenstein. She is very strong-willed, doing everything to reach her goal to become even stronger, could barely believe her eyes at the battle taking place in front of her.

Tione muttered as she looked at the opponent of her sister. His incredible growth, the achievements he had achieved, his skills and also, when Alex didn't activate Flying Raijin, they could see him becoming more proficient and was improving in a pace that was visible in their eyes.

Before Ais realized, everyone had gathered around her. No one said a word simply watching the battle that take place as close as possible.

Just like Ais, her eyes trembling as she found herself transfixed by the scene in front of her, they were captivated by the scene in front of her.

Just like what was constantly happening, Alex disappeared from everyone's view. His sword was covered in flames and bolted towards Tiona.

As she was getting used to his speed, Tiona was preparing herself for the incoming attack. Tiona tried to block the sword slash from behind but the next second she saw that the sword had left a diagonal wound on her chest.

Blood gushed out from her wound which made Tiona groaned. Not missing the gap she had made, Alex spewed a fireball from his mouth.

As Tiona was only the target, the fireball wasn't too big in size but its heat was nothing to scoff at.

"Even magic?!"

Tiona exclaimed as she didn't expected that Alex would cast a magic. What's worse was that, the fireball was right in front of her.

She wanted to block or cut through the fireball but it was already too late for her to act due to the close distance. When she felt the heat, she understood that she should avoid it or she won't come out unscathed.

"Ughhh!"

Tiona kneeled to the ground. If she wasn't a level 5, she would be burned to crisp or even her face would be melted. That's just how destructive the damage he had dealt with his fireball.

"He didn't chant anything for that spell!"

Alex heard somebody exclaimed in disbelief but he ignored it. He took a step back as he was wary of what Tiona was about to do. He didn't forget that he was against a level 5 so he knew that his damage was not so much.

Tiona stands up, completely fine but just some burned marks on her skin. She was only taken aback which made her kneel. Holding the claymore, she had a smile on her face.

'She's getting serious.'

Alex thought in his mind, reading the expression of the amazon in front of him. Seeing that Tiona was getting serious, Alex took a deep breath. He could feel his heart that was now a heart of a dragon, rapidly beating, providing every inch of his body, a tremendous amount of power.

It was that moment.

An overwhelming sense of inexplicable fear and murderous intent poured over the entire place, giving all people around a goosebumps all over their bodies.

The spectating blacksmiths were the first to tremble and and almost lose their sanity from their innate senses, screaming at them to flee away from Alex.

Along with smiths, the adventurers swallowed their breaths and hardened their facial expressions. The adventurers were battle hardened, but had never felt such pure intimidation and fear coming from one source like this.

Whilst he exuded this utter presence of dominance and fear, Alex took his stance. Looking at Alex who was releasing an overwhelming suppressive aura, Tiona flinch a bit as she looked at the blood red eyes of Alex.

'She's fast. I expected this because she's a first class adventurer but, if not because of my Flying Raijin and Sharingan, I wouldn't be able to keep up.'

Alex quickly rushed and drew his weapons and slashed. Then Alex swung the sword several times, which Tiona perfectly blocked.

'He's fighting style is really great.'

Tiona inwardly praised Alex. He mainly attack using the short sword and if he found an opening, he covers himself with the daggers. Also, his skills in handling the weapons were getting better as time passed.

It was a tough battle. Even for Tiona who was a level 5 adventurer, found it hard to continue fighting Alex who was rapidly growing in real time. A genius. That was what Tiona considered Alex as she had never saw someone who could grow this fast.

However, Tiona like this fierce battle. With every swing of her massive claymore, it was so powerful that if Alex got hit by mistake, he would be knocked out.

An indescribable wave struck the surroundings. A wave that was so violent that doesn't fell short to an explosion. Attacks that could be said to be fatal moves.

After a while of continuously using hit and run tactic with his Flying Raijin, Alex took a gamble once again. Even though he was in a middle of battle, Alex still had a little moment to spare for this.

Tiona was baffled as she saw the smile of Alex. She wondered if he had made a plan to make him smile like that.

In the next moment, everyone including Tiona exclaimed in admiration for the spectacular battle. The smooth swordsmanship and precise movements of Alex became even more sophisticated.

The blades that cuts off Tiona was a perfect slash that even those who looked at it, would mistakenly think that she had been cut. It was the result of the Advanced Blade Mastery reaching level 4.

The aftermath of seeing the thrilling battle was great. Everyone was concentrating on every actions of Alex.

Then, a magic circle appeared in front of Alex. Without delay, a massive flame took a form of a phoenix. Before everyone could express their amazement, the phoenix flaps its fire wings and rushed straight towards Tiona.

With a massive explosion, the flames of the phoenix engulfed Tiona.

Looking at the attack that incinerated the surroundings, Finn took a step forward.

"That's the match. Alex wins."

No one objected. Even Tiona who came out from the burning flames didn't object. It was plain to see for everyone that Alex mostly dominated the match by utilizing his superior speed that even surpassed the speed of a first class adventurer.

"You're so amazing Alex~kun! I wasn't able to land even a single attack at all."

Tiona enthusiastically praised Alex as she showed her genuine admiration. Despite being an adventurer for only less than a month, Alex had dominated a spar against a first class adventurer.

"The spar was really interesting. I could feel that I gained a lot."
