Chapter- 20 Upgrade

After 30 minutes…

Yuno's consciousness starts to return and he touches his abdomen to find out he is bandaged and half-naked.

When I try to get up "please, stay still!" Lili shouted as she came near him and supported him.

"Arghhh…W-where ar-are w-we??" Yuno asked this with a trembling voice while he groaned in pain.

"You got unconscious after the fight, so I tried my best out of my abilities to treat you then I found a small cave to rest" lili explained the situation as she supported yuno.

Listening to this he felt sympathy toward her after all she didn't leave him but on the contrary side, she treats him and carries him to a safe place.

Not to mention here in the dungeon where monsters lurking everywhere and also the fact she is the only supporter, instead of running away she helped him.

"Thank you," Yuno said with a grateful smile looking toward lili.

Lili shook her head and reply "it should be me thanking you for saving my life earlier when the monster tried to kill me" 

Even though she hates adventurers, she is not that heartless to leave a person to die who just saved her life.

"No, it's okay after all I agreed to bring you here with me so it should be my responsibility to keep you safe," yuno said with a firm expression.

"GRRRRRRRRR~"

Hearing the sounds of monsters yuno becomes alerted and said to lili "let's first get out of here"

Before they moved out yuno decided to check his current status :

[ Current template- Blind Admiral ]

[ Template progress- 49.30% + 10.30% ]

[ Abilities- Gravity, Observation Haki → Advanced Observation Haki, Armament Haki → Advanced Armament Haki, Conqueror Haki ]

[ Daily task- 100 push-ups, 10 km run and 1000 vertical slashes ( completed ) ]

Seeing his progress he was slightly surprised not because of template progress but because of his observation that haki and Armament haki upgraded to an advanced level.

If he is not wrong then haki had divided into three levels:

Novice → Advanced → Mastered

He chooses to ignore it for now as now his current main focus should be to go to the surface face.

He quickly concentrates and scans the area to choose the safest route to the surface.

After checking the safest route, they check to surround until it's safe and set off to the surface.

But before moving out, yuno took 2 potions out of his pocket and drank one of them.

After drinking the potion, his fatigue and pain disappear slowly from his body.

There is still a flesh wound on his body but it's much better than before.

After that, he tried to pass other lili but she tries to reject him very strongly because she knows how expensive potions like this can be of this quality.

But under the stubborn yuno, she was forced to drink under his surveillance. After drinking it, yuno showed a satisfied smile.

As they both set off to the surface, they sneakily get out of the cave and slowly start walking toward the stairs.

Right now Yuno's current condition is enough for dealing with weak monsters even though he was still alert not wanting to fight unnecessarily.

This is the first time he got such an injury, and doesn't want to experience it again. He is from a society where even cuts like a small cut on the finger are treated seriously.

That's why he didn't want to experience that again, now he will not become careless like last time and suffer an injury like this again.

Good thing is that after his observation haki upgraded to an advanced level, he can scan even through to the walls without any difficulty also his range increased

On the way back they didn't encounter any difficulties.

After returning to the surface, the first thing they did was treat themselves.

Even though he is already alright, it will not hurt him to get proper treatment to avoid any infection and not to mention lili also got bruises on her body.

There are people with healing professions arranged by the guild near the entrance to make sure to treat any injured adventurer as soon as possible who comes out of the dungeon.

After they enter the area where medics treat the injured, they see an old elderly woman in her 90s sitting on a chair reading some old book.

Seeing the two kids come inside, the elder woman couldn't help but raise her eyebrow in surprise, especially at the boy who was unusually handsome but what makes him weird is he is wearing a blindfold.

"Come and sit down" but she didn't say anything, since due to living long enough she knows never to judge just by their appearance.

After getting the treatment, they both thank the elder lady and get out of there.

The elder woman looked at the back of the young man with very curious eyes and expression.

Even she, who has been a medic almost all of her life, never saw a blind child become an adventurer.

But the more surprising thing she found out about his body when she was treating him she found his body is tougher than an ordinary level 1 adventurer and also the wound he got is from the shadow war monster on the sixth floor which is called by the nicknamed as 'newbie killer'.

If an ordinary level one adventurer got hit like that by that monster, he probably will be reduced to shreds but he didnt who took that hit to come out alive due to his tough body also his wound is almost healed.

'Well, it's useless to think since it's not my business anyway,' that thought, she shook her head and clear her head as went back to her chair and continue to read her book.

Outside the entrance of the dungeon…

Lili stopped in front of yuno and handed him 2 heavy pouches.

"Here are the magic stones and the other lots of the monsters you killed in the dungeon," lili said with a little difficulted looking like she has a hard time parting with the pouch filled with treasures.

Even though she is greedy for money, she is not that ungrateful to steal someone from who saved her life twice and not to mention someone who treats her with kindness and gentleness.

Yuno takes two pouches in his hands after thinking for a brief moment, he handed one of them back to lili.

"Here this is your share for partying with me," yuno said as he turned back in the direction of the guild to exchange the items for valis.

"W-wa-wai-wait!!" When lili woke up from her shocked state, she quickly runs in front of yuno while yuno showed a confused expression.

And quickly asked in a trembling voice "yo-you m-mean th-this a-all for m-me, I mean it was you killed all the monsters even saved my life not to mention you also got injured because of me"

Hearing her words, he smiled and said "but you deserve it after all you also work hard and also saved my life without running away, keep it you deserve it after all"

"Bu-" when lili is about to be reluctant, yuno cut off her words by putting his finger on her small lips as he speaks with a smile.

"No buts, let's go first to the guild to exchange them into valis then let's go to eat something delicious" as he starts moving toward the guild.

But it's a pity because of his blindness he wasn't able to see his face of lili which is completely red because of his previous action against yuno.

All previous adventurers who hired her or teamed up with lili are all assholes who didn't care about lili at all.

All of them regard her as some kind of slave whenever they take her to the dungeon, and what's more, whenever they see a monster they can't beat, they always first once to use her as the bait while they run away.

Even her part of the share is very less compared to other adventurers.

But today for the first time, someone divided the loot with her equally.

She couldn't help but think if he was too kind or too stupid but one thing was for sure she dont want him to change.

Lili followed yuno who was walking toward the guild.

After they both reach the guild as they enter the building.

Yuno tries to find Eina but he isn't able to find her at her usual counter where she always presents instead there was another different person.

That person is a werewolf woman and very beautiful at that, she has long silky little messy Red hair, fair and smooth milky skin, 2 red wolf ears with white fur inside on her head and beautiful amber colour eyes

She has D-cup size boobs, a slim waist, and thick legs that's made her an absolute milf but she has a cold look on her face making her a unique cold milf that is attractive on its own.
