4 Chapter 4: MONSTER!

{ Third-Person POV }

Inside the Dungeon at the 18th Floor ( Rivira), A party of adventurers consists of 4 members are resting under a giant three. Their leader is called Robber, a Level 2 adventurer and the remaining 3 are Level 1. They belong to Apollo Familia.

" Damn you Loki Familia...getting cocky just because of their numbers..DAMN YOU!" Robber said furiously as he hardly stomped the ground

" You're absolutely right Rober. They've taken the credits that obviously belong to us" followed by one of his men, and the other two only nod in agreement.

They think that Loki Familia stole their prey, but in reality... Loki Familia just save their lives.

This 4 adventures just can't accept the fact that they got cornered by a horde of Minotaurs. They can't accept their own defeat and just made a reason to put a blame on Loki Familia for their self-comforting. In the end , they are just a bunch of losers.

" I can't accept this! FUCK!!!! I won't go back empty handed." Robber declared as he stand from his sit

" What are planning to do, Leader?"

with those questions directed from him, a wide smile formed from his face

" Isn't that obvious, I won't let this sli—"

before Robber could finished his words, a gigantic gyre of light have appeared near the Giant tree where they're resting.

" WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!!! "

" Is that a Monster? "

" This feeling, it's no magic....?"

While the three seems to got flustered by the sudden appearance of the said Gigantic Light, Robber's smile got wider and wider.

' Kukuku, I don't feel any magic nor mana coming from it, means that only a monster came from below?, then seems the luck is upon me. The Loki Familia proceeded at 24th floor, which means no one can steal the prey before us'

is the only words running through Robber's mind. Since they failed to capture their prey earlier, Robber can't imagine of going back with empty handed.

Rivira is a floor in dungeon which considered as safety point in view of the fact that there are no monster born here, though some monsters can come up from the floor below, and those monsters are unique that mostly drops a rare items that can be traded in a large amount of Valis. Thus Robber feels lucky that Loki Familia aren't present to took the prey from them.

As time goes on, the light slowly disappearing.

" Follow where the light is coming from, it's time for Hunt bois..."

" Yossha!! "

" I smell money"

" Talk about lucky "

As Robber gave his order, the three fervently followed the direction of the 'gigantic light' as they seem to not aware what kind of danger that awaits for them.

After a few moments, they've arrive in the middle of the forest surrounded by blue crystals and trees.

" Danchou, I see something" said by one of Robber's men in front, as he point his finger forward.

" Hmmmnn?" Robber lay his vision in that direction and spotted a silhouette of unknown creature.

As they come closer and closer, the silhouette becomes clearer. And when they are finally close and able to identify the so called creature, their jaw drops seeing the figure before them.

A naked humanoid with a muscular figure and average height with spiky black-colored hair. It possesed a two dark-purple horn that fade to red where they point, and it's shoulders seems elaborated with a dark scale-like and own a spiky black long tail, similar to tail of dragon but it's spiky ornaments makes it more elegant than an average one.

It's slightly tan skin and figure alone is similar to that of a Human, but they are convinced that it is a monster cuz there's no human nor any other race that possessed a dragon-like physical features. The problem is, they can't identify this creature owing that it is their first time encountering such a monster.

" W-w-what kind of monster is that " one of them whispered while trembling, maybe because of excitement or fear.

" I-it is my first time seeing such monster"

" What should we do, Danchou "

The three level 1 adventurers got overcame by a startling event, but Robber only formed a wider smile—

' JACKPOT ' is the only word he can think.

' Luckily, it doesn't seem to noticed our presence yet. I don't feel any danger coming from it, maybe because it was way too weak for a monster, but I haven't seen that kind of monster yet in my entire life. Meaning, a newly discovered monster, means a lot of Valis...kukuku'

" We'll capture that thing, rejoice boys, looks like a mountain of money is waiting for us" Robber said as his men answered " Oohh I see!!! As expected from you, danchou " with thrilled eyes.

" Danchou, I'll solely charged in front, give me the role as vanguard. I haven't loosen enough earlier " said by boasting tone of Robber's men, which later Robber nod as he agreed.

They've readied their self by sheathing their sword, all of them are swordsman capable of soloing 9th-floor, but Robber is Third-class adventurer and most of his stats are E rate, thus they are confident to capture a single monster that seemed to not have any potential to cause a danger.

" Now, ATTACK!!!!!" as soon as Robber gave his order, the boastful adventurer charged towards the monster with his long edge sword. And the monster finally noticed their presence and turn around to face them. Robber and his men didn't gave a care about it and continually to charged while it's distracted attempting to capture the so called monster,

BUT—

In a blink of an eye and with a *woosh* sound came from the air, the Figure of the monster and their vanguard got disappeared at the same time.

Robber cannot believe what he witnessed before his very own eyes, and made his body to shiver considering that in a blink of an eye, they escaped from their vision and nowhere to be seen.

" D-danchou, what happened..?" asked by one of his men with a nervous tone.

"W-w-w-what's going on!!"

They moved their head to spread their vicinity but none a single track can be found, untill—

" Who are you people? "

A calm yet spine chilling voice came out of nowhere. And as they turn their head where the voice came from, their eyes met an image that made their eyes open wide in shock. A goosebumps run through every inch of their body, causing them to trembel in extreme fear.

Even Robber felt extremely fear as he saw the figure of their 'Target' holding the bodiless head of their vanguard on it's right hand embodied by razor-sharped claws.

' This Monster....can speak..??'

Maybe it'll take time for the next update cuz I've found something new to read, I've told ya already that I only write when I'm bored, so...Yea...that's it
